A whole new Big Brother franchise is about to start as the host, Julie Chen welcomes the Audience to the first season of Big Brother by Crazy and Mat. She announces that the viewing public should definitely expect tthe unexpected as a series of New twists has been prepared to puzzle the new batch of Housemates. Speaking about them, 14 americans introduced themselves through a video. Among them is Harold, the older figure of the house who has survived war in Africa, Gil, the rocker with a taste for parties and young ladies, Arian, the joyful Free-Spirit from California or Vivian, the sweet superfan, mom of two children who is determined to play a faithful game.
All these personalities as well as 10 others enter the whole new Big Brother house which has been decorated with an island/seashore theme. Palmtrees, cabins, sand, it really looks like the BB house has been transported to a peaceful uncharted island. All excited, the houseguests are shouting and running everywhere, claiming their beds and introducing themselves one and one. Chantal and Ruth, two outspoken older ladies are getting to know each other right off the bat and the latter even says in the DR that she has already found her Number 1 ally (with a blink and a mischievious laugh).
Then, the fourteen housemates are seen sitting on the couches, with champagne and talk a bit about themselves. Kez, the young punk rock fan immediately notices Gil, a muscian with the "coolest groove evaaah". Among this batch, there is also Natacha a waitress from Miami and Teddy, a sports journalist from Texas. Immediately, he notices the beautiful woman and as well as Margo who he describes as the "cold beauty" of the house. Everybody laughs and smiles as they are getting to know each other. Suddenly, they are interrupted by the Host who unveils the First Twist of the summer with a bit of suspense. It is called The Immunity Race and she adds that nobody is safe as they are all nominated at the moment.
The housemates are obviously shocked, and a bit enthusiastic at the same time. Julie then goes on explaining that throughout the week, they will compete in different challenges and try to save themselves from nomination.
The first competition precisely was a physical one. It required housemates to cross an obstacle course in the backyard, crossing a balance beam, a rope bridge and a pool. They needed to retrieve tiles with the letters I-M-M-U-N-I-T-Y, one by one and cross the course each time. The first four to complete their word will be granted immunity while the ten others will still be nominated. Jovany, a young salesman recognizes that this competition is the one he needs to win because he is way better at physical stuff than mental ones. He tells in the DR that he will be unstoppable. Julie set the start and all 14 housemates run through the obstacle course. It appears rapidly that 6 housemates are in the lead, and challenging for immunity : Teddy, Jovany, Arian, Baloo, Margo and Gil. The others are falling behind, mainly Harold who seems really slow, perhaps because of his age. The six challengers are still holding on, and little by little, Baloo who ran very fast begin to lost his pace. Austin, a blogger from Arizona is making fun of him, claiming that this guy is stupid to run so hard even though he knows that it's not his skills. Himself has decided to throw that competition to appear weaker. The five challengers are still in it and Saul, a young single dad is coming from behind and gains some momentum. Eventually, he goes past Margo and Teddy, earning his spot among the four winners with Arian, Gil and Jovany.
Exhausted by this first Competition, there was hardly any strategy talk in the Big Brother House. Instead, the Immune houseguests were celebrating their victory while the new batch of players was getting to know each other. Vivian and Harold talked a long time about how they were already missing their family back home. In the mean time, Margo was comforted by Natacha, the young woman struggled to cope with her defeat in the first competition. She really did her best and was sad not to be rewarded. The guys were much light-hearted and happy, even Teddy who lost momentum seconds before the end of the competition. The game was starting well for them.
The following day, the 10 nominated housemates had to face off in a more mental competition. A series of pictures of the house and the houseguests were shown to them and they had to answer questions about it. After the first three questions, Natacha and Ruth were already left behind with 1 point each while Teddy had 2 points. As the competition passes, four challengers appeared to be in the run : Margo, in the lead, followed by Baloo, Austin and Chantal. These four all went through the tie-breaker question, to which only Chantal answered correctly. She was then asked to choose who should be granted immunity between the two guys. She did not hesitate and chose Baloo.
Chantal, a self-declared cougar was fancying the young man, even though he did not seem to receptive to her. He appreciated her move though and thanked her with a hug. Austin was a bit salty to lose like that and he was left fuming in the Diary Room. Confessing his feelings to Saul, he said that Chantal was not playing the game correctly and was a very emotional player who could be very dangerous in the long run. The two men were getting along well, they had the same approach to the game : both of them wanted to play a strong strategic game without too much emotions. They solidified what looked like the first official alliance of the summer. They were also willing to work closely with the guys who they thought could be used as "shields". When they were approached by the two men, Teddy, Jovany and Gil were onboard with what seemed to be a maneuver to ensure that all five of them will be there to see the fourth day of Competition. They agree on that pact and set their target on the older nominees, namely Ruth, Harold and Vivian.
The third day, the remaining competitors faced off in a challenging endurance competition. They had to stand on a narrow platform, their hands holding a rope above their head. They were thrown eggs, mud and other things like that in the mean time. Ruth was utterly disgusted by the things she received and even though Chantal was cheering loudly for her, she fell of her platform rapidly, becoming the first nominee. The others were holding tight, mainly Kez and Natacha, who were standing on neighboring platforms and motivating each other in silence. Both girls are coming from very different backgrounds, yet they enjoyed a sort of proximity during that competition. Out of nowhere, Vivian fell off her platform, exhausted. She tried to avoid the fall by grasping the booth next by and deconcentrate Austin who lost his balance and fell. There were only four remaining on their platform after two hours. The older housemate, Harold, was obviously struggling, as well as Teddy whose height and weight were difficult to balance. Eventually, the older competitor jumped off his booth granting the three others immunity. Getting off their platform, Natacha and Kez hugged each other.
The four nominees had to stand still by the competition field as the other housemate had to vote immediately to evict one of them. In a Survivor-like voting ceremony, they had to write down the name of the houseguest they wanted to evict on a paper. Margo, as the youngest player had to read the names out loud. The guys stucked together and all voted Harold out of the house, except for Saul who deemed Ruth least deserving. Austin received three votes, and Vivian one stray vote coming from Kez. Eventually, Harold was voted out by a vote of 5-3-1-1.
Harold exit was very tearful because the old man had really grown attached to his younger housemates. Even some of the girls, namely Chantal, Natacha and Margo were very emotionnal about the situation. They did not really have the time to get themselves together though as less than 10 minutes after the old man's exit from the house, a doorbell started ringing. They all expected the former contestant to come back in but instead, two brand new housemates had entered : Lilly Houveir and Stuart Ryans, two former houseguests on different franchises. They entered the house with mixed reactions : certain housemate were very excited such as Ruth while others were more worried. Austin was really distrusting them and he admitted that the entry of two new rivals was adding a whole new level to this game.
They were soon to gather in the living room and the Host interviewed the two newcomers for a while. She also recapped a bit of their respective experiences in the game. She also announced a whole new twist named "Self-Defence" that will allow the HOH's sole nominee to choose who he would be facing on the block. This was a complete game-changer and the players were really shocked by these news. After a short break, the fifteen players were seen waiting in the backyard for the first HOH Competition of the summer. Two at a time, they would face off and would anwser a "True or False" question about fake postcards of the returnees "pre-game holidays" that Big Brother had shown them before the competition. The winner of each round would choose who would face off after him. Julie also added that the returnee that would go the furthest would be granted immunity. In the first rounds, Chantal, Kez, Teddy, Vivian, Natacha and Jovany were eliminated. Then, Lilly and Stuart were chosen to battle each other and Stuart won himself immunity. He then decided to throw the HOH Competition the following round. The final duel opposed Margo and Saul who had been both really impressive throughout the entire competition. Saul rang in first but he was incorrect and he let his opponent win the first HOH of the summer.
Margo, the youngest housemate of the batch was ecstatic about her first victory. She celebrated for a long time with her best friend in the house, Natacha who declared in the Diary Room that she could not figure out a scenario where she would be evicted that week. She trusted her friend 100 % and rightly so. Together, they named a few targets, Ruth, the bubbly older woman who was a bit annoying for a fellow housemates, Lilly, the newcomer, or even Saul, the competition threat. They agreed that they needed to go after somebody that could hinder their game in the long run.
In the mean time, the returnees tried to mingle with their housemates, telling stories about their former housguests and what it feels like to be back. Lilly was immediately thinking about strategy and she approached Saul with an idea of power couple. She was really impressed by his prowess in the HOH Competition and admitted she would do anything to work with him. In the mean time, Stuart gathered a few guys, namely Teddy, Jovany and Gil in the Have-Nots room and proposed them to form an alliance. The Guys came up with the name "The Crew" and solidified what looked like a first official alliance. They felt pretty comfortable at the moment, however, none of them was really sure what the HOH was thinking, and the "Self-defence" thing was a real game-changer. Jovany came to talk with the young girl, trying to see where her head was at. She told him she had a few targets and the young man tried to orientate her choice towards older people like Chantal or Ruth. He believed that Saul could be used as a meat-shield for his strong guys alliance. That little chat was successful as Margo chose to name Ruth as her nominee, and a small bond began to form between the HOH and Jo.
Ruth and Chantal knew that one of them was going to be nominated and they had chosen to nominate either Kez or Vivian because both of them seemed to have difficulties to integrate themselves in the group. Eventually, Ruth chose Vivian to sit next to her on the chopping block. Out of the six players picked to play in the Veto Competition, only the two nominees played hard, the others having decided to throw it. This allowed Vivian to pull out the win in a rather physical competition. Austin and Lilly who had both been picked to play had decided together that they would not compete hard enough so that some of their fellow housemates would get more blood on their hands. The returnee brought Saul and Austin in the garden and said that they should have a small trio and see where they could go together. They reckoned that the guys would be calling the shots during the Eviction Ceremony and made a small pact with the Crew, enlarging their alliance. The bond between Stuart and Lilly was obvious. As returnees they knew that they would need to have each other's back going forward.
At the POV Ceremony, Ruth chose to name Austin the replacement nominee as she deemed he was a "sneaky snake" and needed to be evicted sooner rather than later. She had really harsh words to describe him and said that she had not much respect for the way he had chosen to play the game. Right after the POV Ceremony, two factions started to form in the house, with Baloo, Arian, Chantal, and Kez on one side, supporting Ruth's opinions, and The Crew on the other side, who was gunning for the older housemate on the block. Natacha, right in the middle tried to convince some of the guys to flip and evict Austin who she distrusted a lot. Gil was swayed easily, whereas she had more difficulties trying to convince Stuart. Indeed, Ruth was not a threat to his own game, but voting Austin out would be turning on Lilly. He changed his mind though when the young guy decided that it was not necessary for him to campaign. His self-satisfied behaviour was really rubbing him the wrong way and he chose to vote him out.
Eventually, Austin was evicted by a vote of 8 to 4, only receiving the votes of Lilly, Saul, Teddy, and Jovany.
Following Austin's eviction from the Big Brother house Lilly was angered by the eviction of one of her closest allies, she demanded to know who flipped and why. Saul led a rampage to find out who it was along with Lilly interrogating all of their allies. Whilst these dramatic events were taking place, 'The Crew' met up to discuss last week's eviction. Gil confesses to the alliance that he flipped to take out Austin as he thought he couldn't be trusted. Stuart also apologised to his alliance and states it was a last minute decision. Whilst Teddy was receptive to their apologies, Jovany was a tiny bit angry at the two men for not making him and Teddy aware of the plan. Meanwhile Ruth celebrated with her closest ally Chantal as she survived her second eviction in a row. Baloo and Arian joined the two in celebration as the four made a pact to stick together, calling themselves 'The Dragons' due to Baloo's love of mythical creatures.
After Austin's eviction backlash had calmed down, the houseguests entered to backyard to take part in their second Head of Household competition of the summer. Margo, who won the first Head of Household of the summer, had to sit out and was therefore chosen to host the competition. She revealed that the competition was called 'Popsicle Factory' in this competition houseguests had to hang on to a Popsicle whilst lots of obstacles were thrown at them. The last houseguest left on their Popsicle wins Head of Household and a one in thirteen shot of winning half a million dollars. Everyone chose a Popsicle and clutched onto the narrow holes that allowed yourself to be kept on the Popsicle. After a few minutes the challenge was already proving difficult, with some having difficulty getting a grip on the Popsicle. After twenty minutes Vivian was the first to fall as she couldn't hold on any longer, she was quickly followed by Chantal who couldn't quite get a grip from the get-go. People who weighed more and had more muscle also seemed to be struggling. Jovany fell victim to this as he weighed a lot more than any of the other houseguests and couldn't hold on. Kez was the next to fall, quickly followed by Saul who kicked the ground furiously and cursed at the competition. Stuart decided to throw the competition as he didn't want to paint a target on his back too early. Natacha also couldn't hold on any longer and clutched her arms as she dropped to the floor. Arian and Baloo followed leaving Gil, Lilly and Ruth hanging on for dear life. However, it soon became obvious who the two were that were in contention as Ruth was visibly struggling causing her to fall. Gil opened his eyes as he was focusing and saw Lilly hanging on with all her strength. Gil assured Lilly she was safe from eviction and that she could fall. Lilly, not believing Gil tried to re-adjust to hold on longer but this caused her downfall as she fell leaving Gil as the new Head of Household.
Proceeding Gil's victory in the Head of Household competition, he met up with his fellow allies from 'The Crew' in the HoH room. Jovany pushed for him to nominate safely and pick people like Kez and Vivian whom were struggling to find allies in the game. However, Gil was growing very close with Kez and wanted to keep her safe, he was also worried about Lilly and Saul who were looking for who flipped and was scared they would discover it was him. He decided to voice his fears to his alliance with Teddy and Stuart agreeing and Jovany still unsure. Stuart, however, wanted to steer the target off of Lilly due to the two forming a partnership. Margo and Natacha proceeded to come up to the HoH room and pitched that Margo had kept him safe throughout the first week and hopes he can repay the favour. Gil comments he has no intentions of targeting them and even states in the diary room that Margo scares him. Lilly and Saul also talk to the Head of Household and try to get him to target other people in the house that they opposed such as Baloo and Chantal, but this just put Gil off as he realised they are only out for themselves.
Gil then proceeded to call every houseguest into the living room to initiate the nomination ceremony. Everyone gathers round the dining room table as Gil explains his responsibilities as the Head of Household. He turns his one and only key to reveal Saul's face on the memory wall shocking a lot of the house. Saul was immediately furious, his brow frowning and Lilly looking bored with her face rested on her hands. Other people like Ruth and Arian can be seen smiling with gleaming teeth at the nomination. Saul then stands up to reveal who will be sitting next to him on the nomination block. He decides to choose Baloo who nods and takes the nomination gracefully. Arian's smiles almost immediately gets wiped from her face at her best friend being nominated. Margo ruthlessly smiles at the drama going on as she remains un-nominated. With this Gil announces that the nomination ceremony is now adjourned.
After the shocking nomination ceremony Saul confronts Gil about his decision to nominate him, Gil backs himself up as Saul continues to fire personal insults at him. Kez soon comes to Gil's defense, stating that Saul has been aggressive and has never bothered to actually see if Gil is in on any plan. Back in the Head of Household room Gil thanks Kez for backing him up, the two start snuggling and getting rather close with Kez even stating that she'd never met anyone like Gil. However, the nominees didn't have much time to dwell on it as it was time to pick players for the Veto challenge. Gil draws first and picks out Houseguest's Choice, and knowing that he hadn't been listened to this week, Gil chooses Jovany much to his surprise and delight. Saul ends up drawing Margo whilst Baloo draws Vivian to play. With the six players confirmed the houseguests broke up to decipher plans for the VETO competition and tactics.
At the Power of Veto competition, Teddy comes into the house hilariously dressed as an air stewardess. Teddy reveals to the players that this competition is called 'Get Packing for the PoV' he states that in this challenge players must crawl through wires and other obstacles to collect ten T-Shirts of the same brand. The first player to collect all ten of their shirts wins the coveted Power of Veto. The houseguests then get going and it soon comes apparent it is a three horse race. Jovany, Saul and Baloo are all seen with four shirts in their suitcase. Gil and Margo aren't fully out of it as they've both got two whilst Vivian looks completely out of it with only one shirt in her case. Eventually after an hour of gruelling competition and exciting twists and turns Jovany pips Saul to the post as he collects his shirts first winning him the Golden Power of Veto.
After the Power of Veto, Jovany talked to Saul and Lilly. Saul pushed himself to be saved from the block, stating that he can help Jovany get further through this game with Lilly backing Saul up. Jovany began seriously considering saving Saul from the nomination block but was filled with guilt after Gil had trusted him to play in the Veto and honour his nominations as his ally. He decided to talk to Stuart who had become a sort of oracle for the new players. Stuart guided him towards keeping the nomination the same to avoid getting blood on his hands. However, Stuart had ulterior motives and only wanted Jovany not to remove any nominations so Saul and Lilly would come after him and Gil next week and not him. At the ceremony, both nominees stated their case and after lots of umming and ahhing, Jovany decided to honour Gil and keep the nominations the same.
After the Veto ceremony has been adjourned Saul and Lilly try and campaign for Saul to stay in the house. They pitched to Stuart, Jovany and Teddy but the three knew that Gil was pushing for Saul's ouster. Baloo gathered his allies, Arian, Chantal and Ruth and the three women vowed to try and save Baloo from eviction. Ruth played up to Vivian's motherly personality and the two women bonded, with Ruth also winning Vivian's vote over in the process. Kez wanted to follow the wishes of Gil as it was his HoH and wanted to evict Saul. With five votes to evict Saul it soon became apparent that Saul needed the votes of Jovany, Margo, Natacha, Stuart and Teddy to survive. These five all arranged a meeting joining the two alliances together. Natacha pushed for Saul's ouster as she didn't trust him much like how she didn't trust Austin. Stuart, however played devil's advocate pointing out the flaws of taking out Saul and the benefits of keeping him and evicting Baloo. With Margo backing up her girl Natacha and Jovany backing up Stuart it was up to Teddy to evict someone from the Big Brother house. At the live eviction Julie revealed that by a vote of 11-1 Saul has been evicted from the big brother house. He proceeded to out some people and shouted down the house before leaving the house, resulting in Lilly having no-one left in the house.
After losing her two allies, Lilly was severly isolated from the rest of the house. She had a teary breakdown in the Diray room and stated that she could see her game coming to an end sooner rather than later. She felt betrayed by Stuart who had been playing with her and Saul since the beginning, however, he did effective damage control and managed to convince her that he still had her back. She began to trust him again, simply because she had her back against the wall, and no one to align with.
The 13 remaining houseguests but Gil competed in the third HOH Competition of the summer which tested their physical abilities such as rapidity and agility. The players had to cross a slippery course with a small cup, and try to trnasfer jelly from a bucket to another. The first contestants to fill his bucket would win HOH. They could also go for smaller buckets, which would grant them either £1.000 or a Never-Not pass. Chantal, Teddy and Ruth immediately went for the smaller bucket while all the others tried their chance for the bigger one. It immediately seemed unlikely that Kez or Vivian would win as both women fell hard several times, doing rather comical figures. In the run, were Arian who benefitted from a good balance and a quick start, Margo whose slim corpulence and shrt height was a real asset, and Jovany who was extremely stable on his legs. As time went by, they were challenged by both returnees who wanted to bring home their first HOH of the summer. After more than two hours, Teddy won himself the money prize, leaving the Never-Not prize to Ruth who had been quicker than her best friend Chantal. It was still a tense race between Margo, Lilly, Jovany and Stuart for the main prize, while Arian had lost a lot of momentum and was out of contention. After a few more hours, it became clearer that either Stuart or Jovany would win the competition. Eventually, Jovany managed to pull the win, by cleverly taking more jelly in his cup thanks to his second hand. He won himself HOH. For the members of the Crew, it was another victory and Jovany was keen on protecting his "bro" for one more week. Lilly was more worried about her position in the game but Stuart promised her that he would keep her safe for the week, right after the Competition.
Everybody in the house had their own agendas and they tried to convince Jovany that he should follow them. Gil tried to save Kez with whom he had developed a budding showmance, Stuart wanted to protect Lilly whereas Margo and Natacha were trying to make him do a big move by targetting one of the strongest guys in the house. The only common point of all these people was that none of them was allied with the "Dragons and it was really worrying for them, mainly Arian and Baloo who had very few gametalks with this side of the house. It was a bit more complicated for Chantal as she had tried to seduce several men from The Crew, notably Teddy with whom she had been flirting for a few days. They were, according to Gil, a complete "cringe-mance". Ruth, herself had tried to develop other bonds and had a rather solid friendship with both Vivian and Kez.
Eventually, Jovany was eager to make a big move and to let that happen, he needed to name a pawn on the block. After discussing it with Gil, they believed that either Margo or Lilly would be a good option. Yet, Stuart was really anxious about this kind of move that would make an important part of the house turn on their little clique and he persuaded Jo that he could make a big move while protecting his buddies. He advised him to go after the people that were navigating around his best friends, trying to create divisions in the Crew. Both guys were really admiring the returner and they followed him by going after Chantal who they felt was the most dangerous should her relationship with Teddy evolve. Jovany was willing to cut her before his mate grew too attached to her.
At the nomination ceremony, Ruth seemed more upset that her friend was nominated than Chantal herself. She told the guys that they were "disgusting" targetting always the same group of people. She also exposed the little clique that was formed by the Crew, and the younger girls. She was shut out by Jovany who continued his speech and explained his reasons behind the nomination. Then, Chantal stood up and decided to name Stuart as her fellow nominee. That was a strange move because obviously, it reduced her own chances in the upcoming Power of Veto Competition. The aftermath of the Nomination Ceremony was a bit odd, with all the younger personalities gathering to talk about Ruth's attitudes behind her back. Only Baloo, Arian and Ruth stayed in the living room, trying to comfort their nominated friend. They promised her to play hard in the POV Competition and get safety for her.
Proceeding the Ceremony, Kez and Gil officialized their showmance in front of the entire house, admitting in a game of "Truth or Dare" that they had something genuine going on. Jovany and Stuart exchanged a knowing glance : they both thought that at some point, this relationship could damage the whole alliance and create fractures. Stuart even said in the Diary Room that Gil would have to choose betwwen the Crew and his girlfriend soon or else he would go out the front door without even expecting it.
Arian, Vivian and Teddy were drawn to compete in the POV Competition alongside the HOH and the nominees. The six participating houseguests had to complete a special recipe describe by "OTEV-the-Crazy-Cook" and brig him back the ingredients he asked, that were related to the competitions that were organized since the beginning of the game. In the first rounds, an unlucky Teddy and a clumsy Vivian were eliminated from the Competition, failing to find the first ingredients. Chantal really struggled to go back to OTEV as she fell several times while trying to climb the slide. She was eliminated third, leaving Arian as the only remaining player fighting for her. The young woman was neck and neck with Stuart in the Final round and they both had difficulties to find the correct ingredient. Both of them came back together to the platform, but she managed to climb the fastest. Sadly enough, she had brought back an incorrect ingredient and granted Stuart his first competition win of the summer. He could now remove himself from the chopping block.
Arian was really sad to lose like that in a Competition she had always dreamt of as a Big Brother Superfan. She was really annoyed and both Chantal and Baloo went to comfort her. She told them that they needed a strong gameplan to make sure that the "Dragons" would still be all together at the end of the week. Ruth wanted to go after the Guys and was convinced that she would be able to sway some votes by talking with the girls, however Baloo immediately ruled this solution out, it was way too risky. Chantal prefered to go for a girl and she really hesitated between Natacha who had already been mean to her (without even doing it on purpose) and Vivian who was a lone wolf, a free agent with no true allegiance. Ruth went to talk to her, and included her in the "Dragons" alliance both to protect her (she was the only houseguest who had a small strategic bond with the sweet mum) and to convince Chantal that she needed to target one of the "Cool Kids".
Eventually, at the Power of Veto Ceremony, Stuart removed himself from the block and Chantal decided to name Natacha as a replacement nominee. The young girl was really sad as she figured out that the way she talked to people could be bothering for certain people, and she regretted the comments she could have made which had made her fellow nominee feel bad. Jovany was one of the first housemate to comfort her, yet, he later said in the Diary Room that any of the nominee could go home for him, he would not matter. Everything went as he had planned : none of his "bros" were about to go home.
The following days, there was a lot of scramble as the nominees were trying to get more votes. Chantal obviously had the votes of Ruth, Arian, and Baloo, as well as Vivian's, the last member of their alliance. Natacha could count on Margo herself, her number 1 ally since the beginning of the game and also the young Kez who was desperate to be included in some kind of "official alliance". She promised the girls that she would do anything to convince her mate Gil to change his vote. Teddy was leading a fierce campaign for Chantal and both Stuart and Jovany decided that it might be too dangerous to anger their fellow alliance members who they thought had the potential to flip on them really quickly. They secured a Final 2 deal and decided by mutual agreement that the following week they would convince Lilly and Margo to create a 4-person alliance, so that they could play on both sides. Eventually, Gil was torn between going with Kez or his Guy-alliance. He followed his heart and voted for Chantal to go home. Lilly on the other hand, voted for Natacha as Stuart told him.
Natacha was voted out of the Big Brother house by a vote of 7 to 3.
Week #4 Edit
Proceeding Natacha's elimination from the Big Brother house Margo was furious that her closest ally had been chopped. However Stuart brightened her spirits when he gathered her, Jovany and Lilly into a secluded area of the house. He pitched that the four of them should create an alliance, the two girls enthusiastically agree with the offer as they were both isolated in the previous week. Jovany suggests that they name themselves the 'Harvesters' as they harvest other people's games. Margo expresses in the diary room that the name is horrible, and even though she doesn't full trust the boys, she'll go along with it. Meanwhile Chantal was very tense after surviving the eviction and talked with her ally Ruth about making more social relationships in the house. The two girls started to talk to Vivian and Kez and formed an all-female alliance called the 'Vipers'. Vivian rejoiced in the diary room about having an alliance for the first time in her Big Brother career.
The twelve remaining houseguests, bar former HoH Jovany, got ready to compete in the next Head of Household competition of the summer. In this competition houseguests were instructed to get into a wide and vast bath tub. Jovany read from a card that this competition is called Houseguest Soup where houseguests will have to sit in the tub as long as possible. However, various buckets of disgusting substances are tipped into the tub. The last person sat in the tub will claim the next Head of Household of the summer. The competition started and everyone prepared themselves, soon enough rotted fruit and vegetables were piled on to the houseguests forming a very horrid odour. No-one seemed too fazed by the first bucket but Margo was especially disgusted by the items. The next bucket did send a lot of people writhing, ofel was poured into the tub, raw meat filled the tub with the juices turning the water a nasty colour. Soon enough houseguests started to get out of the tub. Margo was the first person to jump out, having enough of the disgusting filth she was bathing in. Vivian and Chantal followed her as the two women both climbed out at the same time - everyone else laid in wait for the next bucket. The following bucket was the garbage culminated over their whole stay, a foul smell drifted from the pool and everyone was making faces with a certain few gagging. Both Gil and Kez jumped out, gagging from the smell and the feel of the garbage on their bodies. Arian, Baloo and Ruth also couldn't take it any more, removing themselves from the tub. One last person also exited, not wanting to be a target Teddy also got out. The last two remaining were the returners, Lilly and Stuart. Lilly mouthed safety for Stuart and this was enough for him as he happily got out of the pool awarding Lilly the fourth Head of Household of the summer. Lilly celebrated irritating some guests but she was congratulated on her win nonetheless.
With a win under her belt Lilly's confidence had taken a boost as she met up with her new alliance of Stuart, Jovany and Margo. The four all deliberated over who to send home and who their target should be. Margo was hell-bent on revenge for her fallen partner, Natacha and despite Jovany being the one to nominate her, she pinned the blame on Chantal and her best friend in the house, Ruth. The 'Dragons' alliance met up to discuss their plans as they were convinced one of them would go up for eviction this week. Baloo pushed for the alliance to consider nominating Stuart as it would mess up their plans, however Ruth disagreed and thought nominating a bigger physical threat such as Jovany or Teddy would be smarter for the alliance's well-being. The alliance agreed to just put it in the hands of the person on the nomination block as it was ultimately their decision.
At the nomination ceremony, Lilly turned her only key in the nomination block to reveal Chantal's face smiling on the memory wall. Chantal nodded, acting professionally but inside was very disappointed at being on the block for the second time in a row. Lilly then hands over the responsibility of naming the second nominee to Chantal. Chantal stands at the front of the room to reveal that she has chosen to nominate Teddy as the second nominee, even though she was closed to the young man. She followed Ruth's advice as she trusted her best friend the most despite respecting Arian and Baloo's opinions. Teddy seems very shocked at being nominated as he had tried to not put a target on his back, but he accepted his nomination gracefully as it was all part and parcel of Big Brother. Lilly then stands and adjourns the ceremony, secretly happy that her main allies were safe despite a vote in Teddy being sat on the block.
Proceeding the nomination ceremony, Teddy talked to his allies about getting to votes to save him in the event of a possible eviction. They immediately realise that the vote rests in Kez's hands. This worries Gil as he knows Kez is close to Chantal and have recently formed an alliance of her own. Lilly then calls everyone to the living room to draw players for the Veto, Lilly goes through the motions, asking the two nominees two join her up in front of the houseguests. Lilly draws first and reveals she has picked Gil to participate. Chantal draws next and shows the chip reads Margo's name. Teddy draws last and reveals the sixth and final player to be playing the Veto competition is Arian. This means that the six players participating in the Veto are Lilly, Chantal, Teddy, Arian, Margo and Gil.
The houseguests playing in the Power of Veto competition are then called into the Diary Room one by one to participate int he competition. Lilly is selected to compete first and she enters the Diary Room in which Big Brother reveals that the competition is called Keeping Up With The Jonses where the players must compete privately. Big Brother reveals that they must jump on a trampoline to view an art gallery. The players must then re-create this gallery correctly. The houseguest to complete the challenge in the quickest time with win the PoV. As the first houseguest selected, Lilly takes to the trampoline. She looks to be making quick process, but tiny changes in what seems to be replicate pictures slow her down. Eventually Lilly hits the buzzer in an average time of 5 minutes and 37 seconds. Lilly seats herself in the HoH room to watch on as the other players do their best. Arian is the next houseguest up, the young woman can be seen trying her best but getting stuck over the ordering of the pictures. In the end Arian's effort isn't enough to even scratch Lilly's time as the signal sounds to tell Arian that she hasn't beat the time to beat. Gil is up next and it is immediately obvious he's stuck and the signal sounds sending him back to the house - disappointed. Chantal is the next one to step up to the plate, and Chantal is a woman on a mission as she quickly places the art pictures, it's very close but Chantal scrapes into the lead with a time of 5 minutes and 21 seconds. The show skips over Margo's attempt as her buzzer sounds and is seen watching the last person who is Teddy. Lilly is seen cheering for the man as she doesn't want Chantal lifting herself from the block. Much to Lilly's happiness and Chantal's chagrin Teddy manages to put in an excellent time just under 5 minutes, claiming the Golden Power of Veto.
Proceeding the Veto competition, Teddy celebrates, and while Jovany feigns happiness, he actually is very nervous that Chantal may set her sights on him. Jovany confides in his alliance and Stuart comments that it all rests on Kez's shoulders. Chantal proceeded to meet up with Ruth and her female allies to get their opinion on who should be the replacement nominee. Kez reveals she would be more comfortable if they sacrificed Arian or Baloo as she tells her 'Vipers' alliance that Gil is putting a huge amount of pressure on her to send Chantal packing. This made Chantal think about choosing Gil as the replacement but she knew that Kez would probably send her out of the door.
At the Power of Veto ceremony - Teddy steps up to the front and starts the ceremony he reveals he has chosen to use the power on himself and due to him vetoing her nominee, he reveals Chantal will have to now choose a replacement. Chantal steps up and after much deliberation decides to re-nominate Jovany for eviction, sighting he was a very big physical threat. She also knew that this was the best chance to keep Kez close to her. With this Teddy stands back up and adjourns the ceremony meaning the final nominees are Chantal and Jovany.
After the VETO ceremony everyone got to work to save who they wanted to save and it all comes down to one person... Kez. The 'Harvesters' all meet up and re-affirm the obvious plan to save their ally, Jovany and get rid of Chantal. Jovany and Stuart along with Teddy pressure Gil into talking with his showmance, Kez. Chantal started to grow rather paranoid that Kez was being pressured by her showmance and that she might vote her out. Chantal decided to rather aggressively confront Gil and calls him 'manipulative' and a 'goat'. Gil tells Kez of Chantal's outburst and sights she's dangerous to keep around. Kez is horrified to find out about this and immediately confronts Chantal about her actions getting the two into a verbal altercation. Ruth decides to step in between the two girls' and tries one last pitch to get Kez to evict Jovany from the game. Whilst Kez appreciates what Ruth is trying to do, however interprets the gesture as one that reveals Ruth doesn't trust Kez to follow through with the plan. In the end Kez stays loyal to her showmance and betrays the 'Vipers' by evicting Chantal from the house by a vote of 5-4.
Votes for Chantal: Gil, Margo, Stuart, Teddy and Kez
Votes for Jovany: Arian, Baloo, Ruth and Vivian
Ruth was utterly disappointed in Kez after she decided to betray their little alliance and vote out Chantal who was definitely her closest ally. She confronted the young punk fan about her vote, and surprisingly enough, she tried to convince her that she voted for Jovany to go home. Ruth was a bit puzzled. She chose to believe her newly ally and give her the benefit of a doubt, yet this little episode has created some distrust between the two of them. In the mean time, the Harvesters were celebrating their first victory of the summer. They knew for a fact that nothing could stop them if they kept winning competitions.
Actually, three of them would participate in the next competition of the summer : an endurance competition which required them to walk on a rolling cylinder while holding a burden attached to a rope. Wether they fall of their cylinder or they let their rope slip would mean a direct elimination from the competition, the winner being the last housemate standing. Right off the bat, Ruth noticed that this competition wasn't made for her. She was proven right when she fell off after only a few minutes, followed by Kez. The other challengers were holding strong and they stayed for more than forty minutes before Big Brother started to throw water at them. Their cylinders became more and more slippery and it became a real slaughter, with Teddy, Stuart, Baloo and Vivian falling one after the others, within 5 minutes. Gil, Jovany, Margo and Arian were standing still. Out of nowhere, Gil let his rope loose after standing still more than two hours. Jovany and Margo were really excited, and they couldn't help but smile for the rest of the competition. Arian did notice that these two were suddenly very close to each other and refused to bargain over a potential safety for the week. Tired of walking, Jovany decided to get off while saying a last "You go girls !". Arian snapped him with a bit of snark, arguing that Margo and Jovany were working together. She mumbled that he was a "fake-arsed coward". Instead of answering to her, Jovany blew her a kiss and blinked. Both girls were standing steadily and they werre not ready to let go, it really was a battle of titans. In the end, Arian started to feel crampes in her legs and whilst she tried her best, she couldn't do much but jump off her cylinder, granting Margo her second HOH of the summer. Stuart, Lilly and Jovany were noticeably ecstatic and Arian was utterly crushed, crying of spite in a corner.
Proceeding that tense competition, the Harvesters decided to wait for the other housemates to be asleep to reunite in the HOH room and create their plan of action. Lilly proposed to after the strongest members of the Dragons, namely Baloo and Arian who she felt were much more dangerous to their game than Ruth. She even said about her that "Grand'Ole Lady has no game right now, she's the Ultimate Floater". Margo proposed to put Baloo on the chopping block as he already had been nominated and he would avoid getting much blood on his hands. Meanwhile, Arian and Baloo, both Have-Nots were trying to figure out a way to escape the bottom for good. Indeed, they never really had power throughout the game, and were always at the mercy of the successive HOHs. They sealed a secret Final 2 deal and promised to each other they would start to win some competition ASAP.
At the nomination ceremony, Margo chose to nominate Baloo, stating that she liked him as a person, and he was strictly gameplay from her part. The young man really expected this nomination to come out and after hesitating for a few minutes he decided to name Lilly as his fellow nominee. Arian and Ruth exchanged a small grin while both Margo and Lilly seemed utterly pissed. Dealing with the aftermath of this ceremony was really hard for them as they really did not expect that to come at them. Stuart told them that they knew it was a possibility and they should now work to win the Power of Veto.
Margo was comforted by Jovany who told her that they would do everything to ensure that they were choosing what will happen this week. He added that there was no way that somebody from the Harvesters was heading home with her in power. They enjoyed some cute moments that week, developing a budding showmance. They were even hanging out more often with Gil and Kez, the other official showmance of the house. When Lilly alluded to the danger of a showmance in their alliance with Stuart, he guaranteed her that both of their allies were more focused on the game than their relationships. He voiced more concern about Gil though on whom he had lost complete control since he ahd started to fancy Kez.
For the POV Competition, Stuart, Teddy and Vivian were drawn to compete. It was a really particular competition sponsored by some electronic devices brand where the Housemates had to guess the price of several pieces of furniture. If they were the furthest from the real price, they would be eliminated from the round and win a special advantage in the game. The eliminated player would have the opportunity to trade his price with the houseguest eliminated the previous round. After the first four rounds, Teddy was sixth, forced to wear a weird unitard, Margo was fifth with a vacation prize, Vivian was fourth with a $1.000 prize, and Lilly was third with the POV. Stuart then was eliminated and as the second, he had a Never-Not prize. He chose to keep it knowing that anyways, Baloo would still the POV. Indeed, he traded the POV against an advantae in the next HOH Competition, and won himself safety.
It was the worst case scenario for the Harvesters who had now to decided of another target to replace Baloo. It did not take much time for them to chose Arian as the replacement nominee. Making her go home was really benefitting their game as she was gunning for them. At the POV Ceremony, she took her number 1 ally's place on the chopping block and said to Lilly : "it's game on girl ! If you guys think I'm going home this week, you've got another thing coming...".
These little tensions did not stop after the POV Ceremony when Margo insulted Arian behind her back, saying some very nasty thing about her sexuality. Stuart and Teddy who witnessed that admitted in the DR that she might have crossed the red line with these comments. Stuart told his ally about it, advising her not to have these views as it could really cause some damage in her real life from the outside. Margo began to feel upset about the whole situation, but fortunately, Jovany were there to comfort her.
Lilly was more focused on the upcoming eviction. She definitely not felt ready to go home. She identified Kez as the swing vote and came to her to plead her case. The young woman seemed very receptive at her speech, however, Ruth went to see her later on with an ultimatum : save Arian to earn her trust, or evict her and the Vipers would be no more. Kez started to have second thoughts as she refused to be pressured, yet, her alliance with Vivian and Ruth were her only official pact and she was reluctant to betray it. Stuart also rallied his troups and both Teddy and Gil swore to keep Lilly in.
There was a clear divide in the house with Stuart, Teddy, Jovany and Gil voting to keep Lilly, and Baloo, Vivian, Ruth and Kez on the opposute side. Obviously, Gil and Kez were the swing votes should they wanted to avoid causing a tie. Gil was torn between following his guys' alliance or go with his heart and follow Kez. Minutes before the eviction, he decided to change his vote, causing Lilly to be evicted by a vote of 5 to 3...
Arian jumped of happiness and blew a kiss to Margo and Jovany who were sitting, confused on the couch... Lilly was really annoyed to go out like that and Stuart felt also very betrayed. He grabbed Gil by the arm and mumbled "I see that you've chosen a side mate... Game on.". Lilly became the first member of the jury, disappointed to be evicted but still happy to have improved her gameplay since the last time she played.
Shocked and rattled that their ally had been blindsided, Margo and Jovany were extremely angry at Gil for flipping on their alliance. Gil tries to explain to the four people he betrayed but his pleas fall upon deaf ears. with Stuart even commenting that the lines are drawn. Ruth thanked Kez for sticking to their deal, and stated she fully trusted her now, Kez states how relieved she is in the Diary Room that Ruth trusts her again. Meanwhile Gil met up with Kez to discuss what they're going to do moving forward. Gil suggests moving forward with Teddy and tying along Ruth and Vivian.
It was then time for the next Head of Household competition and Julie reveals this competition is called Bull in a China Shop. Julie reveals that the Houseguests will have to stand on a long rotating log holding onto a bull's head attached to a rope. If they fall or let it go they are eliminated, and the bull will swing down and smash their china-filled china cabinet. The last Houseguest standing will become the first Head of Household! The houseguests soon find out this competition isn't as simple as first anticipated with everyone struggling, most notably, Arian and Vivian. The log begins to speed up very slowly, but Arian soon drops, smashing her cabinet full of china. The competition goes on for ten more minutes before, suddenly, without any warning, the log changes direction catching out lots of the competitors. Jovany, Kez, Teddy, Baloo and Ruth all end up falling after being caught off guard, leaving Gil and Stuart fighting for the Head of Household accolade. Jovany, Margo and Teddy are seen praying that Stuart pulls through for the alliance, whilst Kez cheers for her showmance to pull it out of the bag. After about half an hour of holding on, the strain on the arms seems to be taking effect on the two houseguests.Stuart was struggling holding on whilst Gil struggled to keep his footing. In the end after a hard-fought battle between both men, Gil manages to pull through and claim the Head of Household much to the Harvester's chagrin.
After Gil's big win, he meets up with his showmance, Kez where the two cuddle in the bed and share their first kiss. They then get to game-talk, Kez suggests nominating Margo who was a physical threat or Jovany who was also a physical threat and had developed a showmance with Margo. However, Gil still felt tied down to his male alliance and didn't want to risk losing Jovany. Ruth and Vivian also decided to talk to the showmance, pledging loyalty to the both of them. The two women recommended targeting the biggest physical threat as challenges were a big part of the game. Ruth, however, voiced her worries about the original nominee naming one of the three girls as the replacement nomination. Gil agreed but saw no way around it. The three continued to talk about their plan moving forward, they settle on a nomination but it isn't shown what they have decided.
At the nomination ceremony, Gil gathered everyone round the kitchen table. He gives the usual spiel about the responsibilities of being the Head of Household. He turns the one and only key in the box to reveal Jovany's face on the memory wall. Jovany quirks an eyebrow, not expecting Gil to have the guts to nominate him. However, Jovany accepts his nomination and takes a seat on the block. He stands up and announces he will choose the second nominee. Jovany takes a look around and his eyes rest on Kez, he apologises and reveals he has chosen her to be nominated. Kez appears to be very upset as she takes the seat, and Gil can be seen with watery eyes before he adjourns the ceremony.
After the nomination ceremony, Kez was very upset about being nominated and expressed her feelings to Gil who vowed to keep her in the house. Jovany was comforted by Margo and the two snuggled in the bedroom. With the lines clearly drawn, Stuart needed to confirm a few more votes in the event he was the replacement nominee. He talked to Arian and Baloo about voting Kez out. The two were very dismissive but they kept it as an option in the event that they needed Kez out for the benefit of their own game. Ruth and Vivian decided to lay low as they didn't want a target on their back, but still comforted Kez after being nominated.
At the Power of Veto competition, Margo, Ruth and Vivian were all chosen to compete in the competition. In the backyard, the host for this competition, Teddy, revealed that this challenge was called Bowlerina. Teddy revealed that in this competition the Houseguests, wearing tutus, enter the backyard to see a bowling rink decorated with various ballerinas on the walls. Two Houseguests will face off at a time. They will face their bowling lane and must knock down four pins; however, these pins are blocked by a wall that will only go down for 15 seconds every time they spin 15 times. The first Houseguest to knock down their pins will advance, leaving another pair to face off. The last Houseguest remaining will win the Golden Power of Veto! By a random draw, Vivian and Gil are the first two selected to compete, the houseguests are spun and both are visibly struggling with getting their bearings, Gil throws first and knocks down two pins, Vivian has a better throw and knocks down three with the last one wobbling. Gil, with his composure regained, easily smacks the last two pins down to advance leaving Vivian eliminated. Gil decided to pit Margo against her showmance Jovany, much to their individual chagrin. The two spun and both looked pretty good going into the rolls. It's tight as both of them knock down all four pins, with the help of a photo finish, it is revealed Margo has advanced and that Jovany is out of the competition. Margo decides to then choose Gil and Kez. Gil decides to throw this round to Kez as he wanted her to win the Power of Veto, meaning she advances and Gil knocks himself out. Kez then chooses the other two remaining houseguests, Margo and Ruth. Both women look very determined to win the Power of Veto and get ready, after a various amount of spinning, Ruth struggles as this is her first round, Margo gets the first throw in and knocks three pins down, Ruth steps up and everyone tenses up, but her throw is very wide and knocks no pins down, leaving Margo to clean it all up and advance to the final round. Kez and Margo step up and they both get spun again, Margo looks very dazed after being spinned twice in a row and Kez gets the first throw, three fall while one skids over but still stands. Margo throws and Kez and all her allies can only watch as Margo knocks down her pins and earns the Golden Power of Veto.
Back inside the house Margo celebrated with Jovany in the storage room about winning the Power of Veto and she promises to use it on him. However, Gil wanted Jovany to remain on the block and threatened to re-nominate another one of her allies in his place. Margo pretended to be intimidated by Gil but laughed about it in the diary room stating that Jovany is her closest ally and she'd be a total idiot to not save him from the block even if Gil nominated Teddy or Stuart in his place. Stuart, knew that Margo would save Jovany from the block, and started to get worried about getting re-nominated and evicted. He approached Arian and Baloo to gather information. He planted seeds of doubt in their heads, saying that they were on the outside of a three person alliance and that Kez is growing too close to Gil and may make a decision they may not like on Gil's behalf.
At the Power of Veto ceremony, Margo quickly got on with the ceremony and stated that it's a no-brainier and she's saving Jovany from the block. Jovany thanks his showmance for saving him and takes his seat back on a sofa to signify his new-found safety. Gil proceeds to get up to announce the replacement, he gives a spiel about how there's only two options and he thinks brains are more important than brawn, and are a bigger threat. With this in mind Gil decides to nominate Stuart in Jovany's place stating he is a massive strategic threat to everyone left in the game. Stuart accepts this and takes his seat next to Kez.
Proceeding the ceremony it soon became clear that Arian and Baloo were Stuart's only hope of survival. However, the Vipers had no idea on what was going on behind the scenes and presumed it would be an easy vote, not even bothering to check up to the two best friends. This left Stuart to continue growing his seeds of doubt and point out more reasons why Kez might be more threatening than him. Arian still wanted Stuart out of the house, stating that he perfectly demonstrated that he is a strategic threat. Baloo, however, wanted to switch and vote Kez stating her relationship with Gil is just too dangerous for the game. In the end they come to a decision which is not shown. At the eviction vote, Julie reveals that by a vote of 5-2 Kez had been evicted from the Big Brother house. Gil, Ruth and Vivian were all left blindsided along with an evicted Kez as she walked out the front door. Julie wasn't done though and revealed a double eviction much to everyone's shock.
No-one really had any time to process the eviction of Kez, but it was evident that Gil was pretty shaken up by the betrayal of Arian and Baloo. Houseguests are immediately instructed to go to the backyard due to the double eviction being in play this week. Julie reveals that his competition is called I Have a Secret. Each Houseguest has a mirror image standing next to a small platform. While standing on the platform, each Houseguest must hold one hand over the button on their identical counterpart's mouth. If they release the button, they will be eliminated from the competition. The last Houseguest remaining in the competition will become the new Head of Household. Gil sits out as outstanding HoH whilst everyone else gets down to it. Everyone looks very determined to win the competition at all costs. Vivian, Ruth and Arian all appear to be struggling already whilst the boys, plus Margo remain still and look to be solid. After about thirty-seven minutes, Vivian drops her arm, unable to keep the strength, eventually ten minutes after Arian falls, her arm going numb, leaving her no choice but to drop. Surprisingly, Ruth continues to keep her arm up. After about an hour of having their arm in that same position, all of the houseguests show signs of struggling, unfortunately Ruth can't keep it up any longer and is the next to drop. With the the whole alliance of Vivian/Ruth/Gil unable to win the HoH, the Harvesters looked in good shape to win it. Another half an hour passes and the strain starts to get too much for the houseguests. Teddy and Margo drop their arms at the same time, eliminating them both. Jovany doesn't take long to follow suit as Baloo and Stuart are left fighting for the HoH. Despite Baloo voting with them the last tribal, Stuart doesn't trust him all that much and is determined to win, Stuart passionately campaigns for Baloo to drop because, he will keep him safe. Convinced by what Stuart is saying, Baloo drops awarding Stuart a very important Head of Household.
With only half an hour before the nomination ceremony, Stuart quickly met up with his fellow Harvesters to discuss who to nominate. Stuart was passionate about nominating Gil for eviction. However, everyone else disagreed, saying Gil is no threat if he hasn't got Kez. Jovany, particularly leaned towards nominating Arian or Baloo for eviction as they had grown very, very close together. The other members of the house just sat around all day knowing nothing could sway Stuart from not nominating them. Baloo did use his budding friendship with Stuart to try and steer the target off him and Arian. In the end though it was all up to Stuart.
At the nomination ceremony, Stuart ultimately went with his guy as opposed to his alliance's opinions and nominated Gil for eviction. Feeling defeated Gil took his place on the block and was forced to name his opponent for eviction. Gil stands up and looks at the three people he felt he wanted to nominate, namely, Jovany, Margo and Teddy. In the end Gil closed his eyes and spun around in circles until he stopped abruptly to where his finger was pointing at Margo. Through this random draw he named Margo as his opponent much to the young woman's chagrin and Jovany's anger. With Gil and Margo being the nominees, Stuart adjourns the ceremony.
Straight after the nomination ceremony, no-one has any time to strategise as they are forced into the next Power of Veto competition. 'Baloo, Jovany and Vivian are all chosen to compete in the next competition. Julie reveals that this competition is called Janelle O-vision' and in this competition one at a time, the Houseguests will be spun on a pink chair, after which they must identify the two Houseguests' faces that are combined on a screen. The Houseguest who gets the most correct in four minutes wins the Power of Veto. Vivian is chosen to go first and struggles at first and keeps passing, however after a few turns she starts to get the hang of it but can only accumulate four points. Vivian then chooses Jovany to go next, Jovany starts off strong and then gets weaker near the end, with the last one still to go he was on four, luckily he got the last one right and gathered five points taking him into the lead. He then chooses Gil to go next. Gil does very well, keeping very focused, but almost being defeated near the end, with his head not in the game he can only get four points as he struggles near the end. He chooses Margo to go next, determined to get her bum out of the nomination seat, Margo analyses most of the pictures well but gets two wrong, leaving her smashing the other competition with ten points. She then chooses Baloo to go next, and with Margo leading, he knows he has to win to keep him and Arian safe. He gets every single answer right zooming him to the front of the pack with the maximum of twelve points. Lastly, HoH, Stuart steps up to the plate, not really fussed about winning the challenge as Baloo won't use it, he throws the challenge, only garnering one point. This leaves Baloo to claim the Power of Veto.
At the Veto ceremony, Baloo gave the nominees a chance to give a speech on why they should stay. An out-of-it Gil surprised everyone when he gave a fiery speech calling out Stuart, Baloo and Arian. He proceeds to tell the house that Teddy's a floater and that Jovany's going to win his way to the finals if they're not careful. In the end Gil's speech didn't change anything about Baloo's decision as he decided not to use the Power of Veto and leaves the final nominees as Margo and Gil.
Leading up to the eviction vote, Gil didn't really campaign and kept to himself, even spending a lot of time in the Diary Room - just sitting. Ruth and Vivian weren't about to give up though as they tried to sway Baloo and Arian's votes. Ruth used the alliance they made against the two. However, the two bit back, saying that Gil basically just called them both out. Although it wasn't totally out of the question as Baloo was worried that Margo and Jovany were a massive power couple in the house and may go for them. Just before the eviction vote Baloo gathered himself, Arian, Ruth and Vivian. He tells the ladies that he wants to form a final four after this eviction to take out the power couple of Margo and Jovany and oppose their allies. The catch was that the women had to sacrifice Gil. At the live eviction the women sacrificed Gil for the greater good for their games, meaning that Gil was evicted by a vote of 6-0, following his showmance, Kez, straight out of the door.
