Big Brother 4 (MATT DB) is the fourth season in the series by MATT DB. It features 16 houseguests competing to win Big Brother and the $500,000 cash prize that comes with it. Each week, one houseguest will nominate two others for eviction, where the House will vote to evict one of its own. This continues until only one houseguest remains to claim the half-million dollar prize.

Gameplay[]

  • Head of Household: Each week, one houseguest will win the title of Head of Household (HOH for short). His or her duty is to nominate two houseguests for eviction. This power cannot be won two rounds in a row.
  • Eviction: At the end of each week, the houseguests that are not nominated for eviction will vote to evict one of the nominees. The nominee that receives the most votes will be evicted from the Big Brother House. If there is a tie, the Head of Household will break it.
  • Power of Veto: After the Head of Household makes his or her nominations, six houseguests (the HOH, the two nominees, and three houseguests chosen by random draw) will compete for the Golden Power of Veto. The houseguest that wins the Power of Veto has the option of saving one of the nominees from the block - including themselves.
  • Jury of Nine: The last nine houseguests to be evicted from the game will make up the Big Brother jury, which will vote for one member of the final two to win the game.
  • Haves & Have-Nots: Each week, a few houseguests will be named "Have-Nots" and will only be able to eat slop, can only take cold showers, and must sleep in the uncomfortable Have-Not bedroom.

Twists[]

  • Double Eviction: At least once during the season, a second round will take place immediately after the live eviction. This means that two houseguests will leave the House during this week. As always, an outgoing Head of Household cannot compete in the HOH competition during this additional round.
  • Instant Eviction: Sometime during the Jury phase of the game, an Instant Eviction will take place. This means that no Power of Veto competition will be held and the House must vote to evict one of the two nominees immediately after the nominations are announced without any time to discuss.
  • Battle Back: Once six houseguests have been evicted, those six houseguests will compete in a special competition to return to the game. The winning houseguest will be granted re-entry to the House, while the other five losers will officially be sent home pre-jury.
  • Day 1 Eviction: On the first night, a special competition will be held. The winner of that competition will save two other houseguests from being instantly eliminated. Those two houseguests will then each save two more houseguests, who in turn will each save two more houseguests. In the end, one houseguest will be left unsaved and will be evicted from the House on the very first night.
  • The Plot Thickens: Each week, a new twist will be added to the basic format of the game. However, the twists added in previous weeks do not go away. This means that, as the game progresses, more and more twists will be in play simultaneously and the strategy will grow increasingly complex.
  • Hidden Consolation Ticket: As part of the Plot Thickens twist, a Consolation Ticket (which grants immunity for the week) will be hidden somewhere in the House each week. These CTs are hidden in locked boxes in various rooms throughout the House, which means that a houseguest must also acquire a key to the locked box to earn the ticket. Sometimes, a houseguest may have to complete a task in order to receive this key.
  • Understudy: As part of the Plot Thickens twist, each week starting with Week 2 a competition will be held prior to the Nomination Ceremony. The winner of this Understudy competition, which is held publicly, will make a third nomination at the Nomination Ceremony in public alongside the HOH's nominees. The Understudy is eligible to be nominated by the HOH, but cannot nominate the HOH. The HOH is ineligible to compete for Understudy.
  • Vote Eliminator: As part of the Plot Thickens twist, each week (starting with Week 3), the houseguest who places second in the Understudy Competition will be granted the power to anonymously block one other houseguest from voting on eviction night.
  • Have-Not Selector: As part of the Plot Thickens twist, each week (starting with Week 4), the houseguest who places last in the Head of Household Competition will be granted the right to hand-pick the Have-Nots for the week.
  • No Veto Player Pick: As part of the Plot Thickens twist, each week (starting with Week 5), all houseguests will compete in the Power of Veto competition. Therefore, there will be no ceremony to select the players for the Veto competition.
  • Co-HOH: As part of the Plot Thickens twist, each week (starting with Week 6), the top two finishers in the HOH competition will both become Co-HOHs. Each Co-HOH is safe from the threat of eviction and must nominate one houseguest. Outgoing Co-HOHs cannot compete for HOH the following week.
  • Nominees Vote: As the culmination of the Plot Thickens twist, Week 7's eviction voting will work differently: only the three nominees will vote in the eviction. None of the houseguests will be aware of this twist until it is time for the nominees to vote. After this twist, the Plot Thickens twist will end.

Episode 1 (Premiere Part 1)[]

Matt introduces himself to the cheering audience, excited for yet another season of Big Brother. He tells the viewing public that 16 brand new houseguests will be competing in a season full of twists and turns for a $500,000 prize. After that, the first five houseguests are introduced. The first houseguest is Peter, a 59-year-old public defense lawyer from Houston, TX. His strategy is to do his best to lie low during the beginning of the game, hopefully establishing an alliance along the way. Second is Kandy, a 28-year-old model from Augusta, ME. Her game plan is to play a strategically and competitively aggressive game and to form a strong alliance from the get-go. Marcus is introduced next as a 22-year-old student from Atlanta, GA. His strategy is to lie low and only win competitions when necessary, instead relying on social bonds. Fourth is Danielle, a 28-year-old marketing director from Chicago, IL. She wants to find love in the House and use her showmance to advance herself in the game. The fifth houseguest in the group is Justin, a 26-year-old chef-in-training from Honolulu, HI. He simply wants to have fun and see where that takes him.

Matt welcomes the first five houseguests with open arms before inviting them into the House. The five of them, particularly Justin and Marcus, are very excited to enter the Big Brother House - especially before the other houseguests. After very brief introductions, Justin races up the stairs to find the best bedroom, with the other houseguests following close behind. Justin rushes into the Shakespeare Room and, satisfied with the size of each of the four beds inside, places his bags on the bed furthest from the room’s entrance. In the DR, Marcus states that he can tell Justin is a fun-loving guy and that he gets great vibes from him. Because of this, Marcus sets his bags on the bed directly adjacent to Justin. Kandy and Danielle set their bags down in the room as well, worried if the other rooms will have significantly worse sleeping conditions; this forces Peter, who took his time to get up the stairs, to find a different bedroom. Eventually, he discovers the Romance Room, which features two king-sized beds. Figuring that two people can share a bed, Peter merely puts his bags on the edge of one of the beds before mingling with the other houseguests.

Back on the outside, the next six Big Brother contestants are introduced. First is Rhonda, a 46-year-old accountant from Baltimore, MD. She wants to play a loyal, ethical game that avoids backstabbing. After her is Tommy, a 38-year-old teacher from San Diego, CA. His strategy is to use his smarts to play strategically yet subtly. Third in the group of six is Alyssa, a 27-year-old aspiring actress from Los Angeles, CA. She wants to use her acting skills to dupe the houseguests, also planning on forming many alliances. Sebastian is next, a 23-year-old bartender from Tacoma, WA. He wants to play a balanced game, not wanting to focus too much on only one of the three main components of the game: competitions, strategy, or social bonds. Fifth in this group is Miranda, a 43-year-old mother and political activist from Nashville, TN. She promises that her game will be no-nonsense and that she will wear her emotions and opinions on her sleeve. Last in the group is Brady, a 29-year-old police officer from Santa Fe, NM. His game plan is to lead an alliance of people he likes to victory.

Matt welcomes the six brand new houseguests to the show, eliciting applause both from them and the audience. After delivering his usual spiel, Matt sends the group into the House, where they are met by the five already in the House with open arms. Danielle immediately comments in the DR that Brady caught her eye as “smoking hot”, while she can tell that she won’t get along with Miranda very well. Sebastian high-fives most of the other houseguests; Brady, Justin, and Marcus all comment positively about his energy and excitement. Peter lets the new arrivals know about the room he found that can fit up to three other houseguests; before a fight can ensue, Sebastian, Brady, and Alyssa allow the others to take the beds, instead opting to find another bedroom. Miranda excitedly puts her bag down beside Peter’s, admitting in the DR that she feels the two will bond well based on being older than some of the other houseguests. Rhonda and Tommy share the other king-sized bed, the two of them feeling they could trust each other down the road. After a bit of searching, Alyssa finds the third and final bedroom - the Backstage Room - and she, along with Brady and Sebastian, set their bags down on the slightly smaller twin-sized beds within the room. Brady immediately comments that it seems a few houseguests will be left without beds; the comment annoys Alyssa, who gets the vibe that Brady isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed for treating such obvious math as a genius revelation.

Finally, Matt introduces the final five houseguests. First introduced within this group is Helen, a 61-year-old school principal from Buffalo, NY. She plans on charming the other houseguests with her vibrant personality. Next is Jackson, a 24-year-old personal trainer from Denver, CO. He plans on using his strong persuasive skills to get what he wants in the game. After Jackson is Fiona, a 20-year-old student from Minneapolis, MN. She wants to play the flirt card to advance herself through the game. Connor is the fourth houseguest in the group; he is a 40-year-old dog trainer from Philadelphia, PA, who plans on making social bonds above all else. The sixteenth and final houseguest is Jasmine, a 29-year-old computer programmer from San Jose, CA. She wants to form a loyal alliance and stay true to that alliance until the end of the game.

With a smile, Matt welcomes the final five houseguests to the stage. He then lets them inside the House, letting them know in advance that there may not be beds for all of them. Worried about sleeping arrangements, Fiona and Jasmine rush inside a little bit faster than the others. The eleven houseguests already inside welcome the new arrivals very warmly like before, with Sebastian letting them know that only two beds remain, both in the Backstage Room. Fiona and Helen end up rushing upstairs the fastest, leaving Connor, Jackson, and Jasmine without beds. The three discuss the matter briefly amongst themselves on the living room couch, bonding through the conversation. Jasmine confesses that she can see herself working with both Connor and Jackson in the future. Noticing the three sitting on the couch, the other houseguests gradually shift to the living room for introductions.

During the introductions, none of the houseguests lie about their professions, but first impressions do form between each other. Most people enjoy Sebastian and Justin for their boisterous yet fun personalities. Justin himself gets good vibes from Marcus and Jackson. Kandy, meanwhile, confesses that she “absolutely loves” Rhonda already. Negative impressions also form; Alyssa states in the DR that she already loathes Brady and wants him gone first. Many of the houseguests believe Helen is a kooky old lady - especially when she asks everyone for their birthdays and gives them horoscope advice - and Danielle confesses that Miranda is already starting to drive her crazy by acting like an “uptight bitch”.

After the introductions are finished, Matt appears on the screen, welcoming the houseguests to the game of Big Brother. He states that, in a game like Big Brother, the strategy and gameplay begins immediately. He goes on, revealing that, this season, the game will start even sooner than normal, declaring that one of the sixteen houseguests will leave the game that night. All of the houseguests are shocked to hear this, with many of them beginning to fidget or shake from nerves. As the houseguests begin to disperse to strategize about the new twist, the episode comes to a close.

Episode 2 (Premiere Part 2 & Eviction #1)[]

Nervous for what the Day 1 eviction twist may entail, the majority of the houseguests make promises to each other to not vote each other out should voting be included in the twist. In fact, all of the houseguests meet in one room to promise each other safety - well, all of them except for Fiona, Helen, Miranda, Peter, and Tommy, who have not clicked as well with the group. Rhonda tells the viewers that she dislikes the majority group that appears to have formed, but she isn’t about to say anything when an eviction is happening so closely in the future. Together, the group agrees that Helen will not fit in with the rest of the houseguests at all, so it’s in their best interests to get rid of her if they have the opportunity. However, it is clear to Brady that Alyssa, Connor, and Jasmine are leading the discussion, and he suspects that something must exist between the three of them already. He tells the viewers that he can tell Alyssa dislikes him and he’s not very fond of her, either.

Meanwhile in the living room, Helen, Miranda, and Peter discuss the obvious disadvantage and exclusion they’re already facing due to their older age. Peter lets the other two know that he saw the majority of the houseguests head upstairs into one of the bedrooms, suspecting that they are all plotting against the older folk. Miranda agrees that she’s been getting weird looks and bad vibes from some of the other houseguests, agreeing with Peter’s theory that they are being excluded due to their age. With an eviction fast approaching, the three of them promise to look out for each other in the early weeks no matter what may happen. Helen tells the viewers that she didn’t expect to be pulled into an alliance so soon, but she’s willing to ride out on Miranda and Peter’s respective wavelengths to see if she can reach a deeper self-understanding. Helen vocalizes her desire to share her experience with the two of them; Miranda states in the DR that Helen is certifiably insane and most definitely a hippie, but she has no choice but to align with her at this point.

In the backyard, a competition is set up. Matt tells them all that they will NOT be competing for HOH, but instead will be competing for safety. The houseguest that wins this special Safety Competition will NOT be evicted that night. With this in mind, the houseguests give it their all in this opening competition; in the end, Connor shocks both himself and some of the other houseguests by winning this inaugural and very important competition. He celebrates briefly, but makes sure not to rub his win in the other houseguests’ faces.

Matt congratulates Connor on winning safety before informing him of what is to happen next. Based on first impressions alone, Connor must select two houseguests that he wants to be safe from the eviction. Connor decides without much hesitation to save Jackson and Jasmine. The two are both thankful to Connor and stand beside him as the other thirteen houseguests look increasingly nervous. Matt then tells Jackson to save two of the thirteen non-safe houseguests. Jackson, on the spot, quickly decides to save Justin and Sebastian. The two men both breathe sighs of relief as they head over to join the other safe houseguests. Realizing the process that is occurring, Jasmine announces that she is saving Alyssa and Danielle. This process keeps continuing, with Justin going next; he saves Marcus and Rhonda. Sebastian goes next, saving Brady and Kandy. Alyssa picks next, and only has five options - Fiona, Helen, Miranda, Peter, and Tommy, the five people excluded from the majority group. Alyssa is unsure of who to pick, but ultimately chooses Miranda and Peter, who she sees as unthreatening. This leaves Danielle, who must save two of the three remaining options (Fiona, Helen, & Tommy). Matt tells her that the person that she does not choose will be the first person evicted from the House. With this in mind, Danielle weighs her options carefully, ultimately deciding to save Fiona and Tommy, not a fan of Helen’s “kooky grandma” persona. Helen looks absolutely crushed to have been eliminated so early, but takes it in stride. She waves goodbye to everyone before leaving the House as the first person evicted from the game.

In her eviction interview, Helen is told that she will get a chance to re-enter the game. She and all of the other houseguests evicted before the jury phase will get the chance to compete for a spot back in the House in a special Battle Back competition. This leaves Helen hopeful, but she is still upset to have been evicted without having a chance to really play the game.

Episode 3 (HOH & Nominations)[]

After Helen’s eviction, Matt calls the fifteen remaining houseguests into the living room. He tells them that, now that the first evictee has been decided, the game can return to its usual format. Therefore, they all - including Connor - will compete for the title of Head of Household that night. With that, the remaining houseguests compete in the first HOH competition of the season. After persisting for many hours in this endurance-based competition, Kandy ends up as the last houseguest standing, making her the first Head of Household of the season. For doing the worst in the HOH competition, Tommy, Peter, Miranda, Jasmine, and Justin become Have-Nots for the week.

Kandy celebrates her victory in the Storage Room, but is completely unsure what she should do with her HOH. To get a clearer picture of her plan for the week, she talks with some of the houseguests in her HOH room to see where their heads are at. Danielle, who Kandy bonded with a bit due to sharing the same bedroom, says that she gets very bad vibes from Miranda, finding her both annoying and untrustworthy. Kandy agrees, admitting that Miranda has rubbed her the wrong way from the get-go. Sebastian talks with Kandy next; Kandy immediately thanks him for saving her during the opening eviction, promising not to nominate him no matter what. Sebastian tells her that he doesn’t outright hate anyone so far, but that he can tell he won’t get along with the vapid and whiny Fiona. Kandy tells him that she also doesn’t like Fiona, but states that she dislikes Miranda more and is leaning on getting Miranda out. Marcus talks with Kandy after Danielle and Sebastian, and the two immediately hit it off. Kandy laughs at the majority of Marcus’s jokes, referring to him as “adorable” in the DR. After talking for a while, Kandy proposes an alliance with Marcus, which he accepts excitedly. Once an alliance is established, Marcus states that he would like to see Peter go home, since he has been acting “very shady” so far. A flashback shows Peter sitting on the couch by himself, awkwardly glaring at Justin and Marcus as they cook dinner in the kitchen. Kandy states that she is leaning on nominating him and Miranda, the two people she simply can’t stand in the House.

In the living room, Miranda and Peter discuss their lives back home. Peter tells Miranda about how, as a public defense lawyer, he does not get paid nearly enough for his work and, as a result, he cannot work as well to defend his clients - who are mostly poor. Miranda is shocked to hear this, previously accepting that everyone had equal, adequate defense in court. Miranda then talks about her political activism in Nashville, where she is often the subject of ridicule or general dislike. Through the discussion, Peter and Miranda learn that they have drastically different political alignments - Peter is very left-leaning politically, while Miranda is a staunch conservative. Although the two disagree politically, Miranda confesses in the DR that she still really likes and appreciates Peter as a human being and still wants to work with him down the line.

As the two talk, Peter notices a strange feature in the room that he had not noticed before. Since they’ve only been in the House a few days, Peter assumes that he simply didn’t pay attention much to the details within the room; however, as Peter continues to look at the out-of-place feature, he realizes that it is a slip of paper with writing on it. Intrigued, Peter glances at Miranda before the two walk briskly to the opposite wall where the slip of paper is hanging. Peter reads the paper to Miranda:

“You must have a very keen eye for detail! Congratulations on finding this special clue. Behind this slip of paper is a key that can unlock the locked box in the Storage Room. Should you choose to open the box, you will find a crucial advantage to your game… however, not all things come without a consequence…”

Peter is very excited to see the note, and generously asks Miranda if she wants to claim the advantage. Miranda immediately declines it, admitting to him that she doesn’t want to risk whatever “consequence” is hidden in that room. Shrugging, Peter takes the hidden key and unlocks the box in the Storage Room, making sure that no one noticed what just occurred. He believes he is in the clear, but Rhonda and Tommy, who were sitting in the kitchen, saw everything that went down. Rhonda tells Tommy that Peter and Miranda might have an advantage over the rest of them, which compels them to campaign to Kandy to get them nominated.

Peter opens the locked compartment to find a magenta “Admit One” ticket with an accompanying note. The note simply states “Take it for automatic safety… if you dare.” Miranda urges Peter to reconsider, not at all liking the threat from the note. Peter, though, stresses the importance of security early on and takes the ticket anyways. Immediately when he grabs the ticket, Matt appears on the TV screen and calls the houseguests into the living room. Rhonda glares at Peter while the other houseguests are worried about what twist may befall them. Miranda looks at Peter in abject terror, knowing that he must have unleashed some sort of terrible consequence on the House. Matt explains what just occurred - Peter found a key to the locked compartment in the Storage Room and took the prize waiting inside, which Matt reveals is a Consolation Ticket. Because of Peter’s Consolation Ticket, he cannot be nominated for eviction this week. Peter beams with excitement while Marcus does his best to hide his disappointment.

However, Matt’s explanation is not finished. Matt continues, stating that Peter took this prize despite two warnings that a consequence would take effect as a result of accepting the prize. Matt announces that this consequence is called The Plot Thickens and it is anything but pretty. Each week, a new twist to the format of the game will be added, but the twists from previous weeks will not go away. That means that each week will have more and more twists in play, making the gameplay increasingly complex and unpredictable. For the first week, the twist is simple - the Consolation Ticket that Peter received. Every week from now on, a different key to a different locked closet within the House will be hidden, meaning that one houseguest will receive a Consolation Ticket each week. The other weekly twists will be announced as they come into effect - some may not be announced until very late into the week, so houseguests should never feel secure.

Marcus complains to Rhonda, who he has been growing closer to over the past few days, about Peter’s immunity, admitting that he finds the guy very strange and would have loved to take him out this week. Rhonda agrees that she doesn’t like Peter, but reminds him that there is always Miranda, Peter’s second-in-command. Marcus says that he talked to Kandy and that she is definitely on-board with getting Miranda out. Tommy, who is in the room with them, declares how happy he would be to see that plan go through, especially after Miranda’s numerous conservative hot takes throughout the past few days. A montage plays several of Miranda's questionable remarks about affirmative action, immigration, and same-sex marriage, along with the annoyed reactions of pretty much all of the other houseguests. In one clip, Miranda makes a very ignorant comment to Justin's face about his background, prompting him to storm off without a word into Kandy's HOH room to get Miranda nominated.

Brady and Danielle talk together in the hammock in the backyard, both clearly into each other. Danielle mentions how she’s been single for a while after her boyfriend dumped her after she got mad at him for cheating on her. Brady makes Danielle happy by calling her ex an a**hole, promising her that she will find a man who treats her how she should be treated. In the DR, Brady beams about Danielle, calling her “simply amazing”, praising both her beauty and her lively, fun personality. The two start to cuddle on the hammock, a showmance quickly blossoming between them.

Also in the backyard, Jackson and Justin work out. The two of them are the biggest “jocks” in the House, clearly realizing this fact based on how often they end up working out together. These workout sessions have formed a sort of unspoken agreement between them, which Jackson believes will become a bona fide alliance in the near future. In the DR, Justin states that Jackson is a great guy and that he would love to align with him, but that an alliance needs more than just two people. To find candidates for a potential alliance, Justin talks with some of the other houseguests, focusing especially on the ones who don’t seem to have set alliances or cliques yet. He notices right away that Fiona is a lone wolf in the game; however, his discussion with her annoys him due to her overwhelming vapidity and flirtiness. Justin tells the viewers that he is happily dating his beautiful girlfriend back home and doesn’t need some random girl trying to get with him. Fiona does end up promising to stay on his side, but Justin is absolutely exhausted with her by the time she finally decides this. Justin realizes that he will need to reach out to people beyond just the ones ostracized by the House if he wants to find allies he’ll actually want to stay loyal to.

Just before nominations, Marcus, Rhonda, and Tommy talk with Kandy in the HOH room to confirm the plan. Kandy states that, due to Peter’s immunity, she will likely nominate Fiona alongside Miranda simply to please the majority of the House. The three others all appear to be on board; after a bit more talking, Rhonda proposes an alliance between the four of them. Without much hesitation, Marcus, Kandy, and Tommy all agree to the alliance, making it official.

At the nomination ceremony, Kandy explains that she will turn the first key, revealing the first nominee’s face; she will then turn the second key, revealing the second nominee’s face. She reminds the House that Peter is ineligible for nominations before turning the first key, revealing Fiona’s face on the wall. Fiona rolls her eyes, not even trying to hide her annoyance. Kandy then turns the second key, revealing Miranda’s face. Miranda’s head drops in defeat, wishing she had taken the Consolation Ticket when Peter offered. Kandy explains that she followed the general consensus of the House and that she hadn’t talked very much with either nominee, reminding them that there is always the Power of Veto competition. With that, the nomination ceremony is adjourned.

Episode 4 (POV)[]

Fiona storms away from the nomination ceremony, refusing to hug anyone. Miranda, meanwhile, hugs Peter and Alyssa, promising both of them that she will be okay and will survive the eviction. In the DR, Miranda confesses that she is crushed to learn that the “general consensus” of the House is against her, vowing to prove their opinions of her wrong. Alyssa confesses that Miranda gets a bad rap for her occupation and political beliefs, and that people don’t want to get to know the real her because of those things.

Justin, meanwhile, talks to Jackson about a potential alliance as they work out together. Jackson loves the idea, but shares a similar sentiment that Justin does - they need more numbers. Justin asks Jackson who else he is close to besides him; Jackson states that he gets good vibes from Connor, who in general seems like a really nice guy. Justin agrees, also mentioning Alyssa as a potential ally. The two men discuss strategy further before Justin finishes his workout, heading inside to rally the troops.

Within the hour, Alyssa, Connor, Jackson, and Justin are discussing an alliance between the four of them in the Backstage Room. Alyssa immediately states that the idea is brilliant, since all four of them are strong competitors that could do some real damage in the game if they work together. Connor, though, is more hesitant; over the past few days, he has been bonding very well with Jasmine and wants her to be included within the alliance. Justin reasons that Jasmine doesn’t seem to have any other alliances, welcoming her into the group with open arms. Connor leaves the room, coming back a few minutes later with Jasmine in tow. With all five of the alliance members together, they make the quintet official, simply calling themselves the Final Five - the point in the game they believe all of them will reach.

The Final Five is not Alyssa’s only allegiance, however. She has also bonded well with Miranda and Peter, intrigued by their close friendship despite their very different political views. Alyssa asks Miranda how often she faces ridicule for her politics; she admits that she avoids talking about her occupation as much as possible, since she is usually judged negatively for it. Alyssa responds to this in the Diary Room, telling the viewers that while she understands why people get mad with Miranda for her beliefs since they are very conservative and sometimes troubling, she is choosing to give Miranda the benefit of the doubt. Peter tells her that he’s seen a lot of that judgment happening within the House, especially from Rhonda and Tommy. Miranda simply shrugs, not surprised that they would be irritated with her beliefs. Alyssa urges Miranda to try to repair her relationship with them, but Miranda puts it off until later.

Speaking of which, Rhonda and Tommy discuss Miranda’s political views in the Romance Room, with Rhonda noting just how aggressive Miranda is in expressing her beliefs. Tommy states that Miranda’s opinions and statements in the House have bordered on being racist; he is especially bothered by her opinions on police brutality. A flashback occurs to Miranda and Brady talking in the living room, with Miranda defending the police in police brutality situations. Brady, a police officer himself, tells her that other police officers do sometimes use excessive force, but Miranda argues that force against “criminals” is perfectly justifiable. Brady was quick to tell Danielle about the interaction, and she, wanting to blow up Miranda’s game, spread the information to the rest of the House. Rhonda is a bit more forgiving towards Miranda, though, arguing that she is probably just misinformed.

At the Veto Player Pick, Alyssa, Peter, and Connor are randomly selected to join Kandy, the HOH, and Fiona and Miranda, the nominees, in competing for the Power of Veto. Alyssa excels in the puzzle-based competition, easily destroying the competition and winning the first Power of Veto of the season.

Not long after her victory, Alyssa faces pressure both from Kandy and from her core alliance to not use the Power of Veto so that either Fiona or Miranda can go home. Jackson in particular argues that using the POV would force Kandy to get more blood on her hands, which would make her not trust Alyssa. Alyssa does feel that not using the Veto is smart, but wonders if she should honor her growing friendship with Miranda by saving her from the block. After all, the replacement nominee would easily stay over Fiona no matter who Kandy decided to nominate.

Sebastian decides to talk to Fiona despite how much she annoys him. As the two discuss the game, with Sebastian promising (falsely) that Miranda will definitely go home, Brady and Danielle are visibly cuddling and spooning in the next room over. Fiona’s first reflex is to gag at the display, an act which greatly annoys Sebastian - who is rather close with the showmance. Sebastian immediately lets Brady and Danielle know that Fiona in particular dislikes their relationship and probably wants to split them up. Brady instantly decides that Fiona must go over Miranda, but Danielle is still hesitant. She can’t shake the feeling that Miranda is not to be trusted.

At the Veto Ceremony, Alyssa decides to play it safe by not using the Power of Veto on either nominee, leaving Fiona and Miranda as the final nominees for the week. Miranda is crushed that her friend didn’t save her, but chooses to be optimistic for the eviction. With that, the POV Ceremony is adjourned.

Episode 5 Part 1 (Eviction #2)[]

Fiona remains annoyed to still be on the block, refusing to acknowledge Kandy for nominating her and Alyssa for not saving her. She simply gets up and walks out of the room, trying to find Justin - who she admits is one of the few people in the House she can stand. The two discuss the looming eviction, and Justin promises her that, unless he’s been left out of the plan, the House wants to send Miranda home. Fiona’s attitude becomes slightly more positive by hearing this; as the two talk, Jackson enters the room. The trio discusses strategy for a while, with Fiona eventually proposing an agreement between the three of them. Jackson, who is quite fond of Fiona, agrees to the deal and promises her his vote at the eviction. Justin looks at Jackson, confused and shocked by his sudden decision to save Fiona, before reluctantly agreeing to the deal as well to save face. In the DR, Jackson confesses that Fiona’s antisocial behavior at the start of the game could cost her, but she is improving her attitude significantly. Justin, meanwhile, states that he already has his doubts about his alliance with Jackson, who seems to make impulsive decisions without consulting others - such as forming an alliance with Fiona, who Justin doesn’t at all like.

Kandy discusses her wishes for the remainder of her HOH reign with Alyssa, Danielle, and Rhonda. She says that she feels she might have made a mistake by nominating two women for eviction, since she already feels some of the guys might want to stick together. Using this logic, Kandy states that she wants to see Miranda go, who she feels is more likely to align with the men than Fiona. Rhonda agrees to the deal - since she was already in on the plan - but Alyssa and Danielle aren’t so sure. Alyssa has bonded well with Miranda over the week, while Fiona has acted cold towards her. She tries to argue to the group that Fiona’s endless flirting, especially directed towards Jackson and Justin, means that she is far more likely to go with the guys than Miranda ever would. Kandy and Rhonda shut Alyssa down, however, arguing that Justin clearly doesn’t like Fiona whatsoever - her flirting isn’t working, which means she’s not a threat and could even become an asset if she’s desperate enough. Alyssa rolls her eyes at this, clearly still wanting to see Miranda stay. Danielle disagrees with getting Miranda out also, since she believes Fiona wants to break up her showmance with Brady.

After her discussion with the HOH, Alyssa has a candid conversation with Miranda about the Veto Ceremony. Alyssa apologizes profusely for not using the Veto on her, but justifies her decision. She argues that she and Miranda would both be put in terrible positions if Alyssa had used the Veto, with Kandy and her friends surely coming after the two of them and Peter. Miranda dislikes this reasoning, since Kandy is already after her and Peter anyways. She complains that the “pretty young people” have ostracized her and Peter because they are older than the other houseguests, citing that same reasoning for Helen’s untimely eviction earlier in the week. Alyssa does her best to reassure Miranda that she will stay, pointing out Fiona’s antisocial behavior and even letting her know that Danielle is putting in work to get Fiona evicted. In the DR, Miranda states that she is shocked to see Danielle trying to keep her in, stating she was sure Danielle hated her guts since Day 1. Miranda wonders if she and Danielle could work out some sort of agreement in the future.

Speaking of which, Brady, Danielle, and Sebastian count out the numbers to determine how to get Fiona evicted and to keep Miranda in the game. Brady immediately states that Marcus, Rhonda, and Tommy all hate Miranda way too much to ever vote Fiona out, and the three of them  (Brady, Danielle, & Sebastian) will definitely vote Fiona out. That leaves 6 other votes; they need to get 4 of those votes onto Fiona in order to get her evicted. Sebastian says that Jackson seems to be getting close to Fiona, especially over the last few days, so he will be a harder sell than, say, Alyssa, Connor, and Peter. Danielle states that she will talk with Jasmine about the vote, Sebastian claims Connor, and Brady decides to talk with Alyssa and Peter.

Danielle and Jasmine talk alone in the bathroom about the vote. Danielle asks Jasmine which direction she wants to vote; Jasmine states that she is leaning on voting Miranda out, since she believes the House as a whole is voting in that direction. Danielle decides to be a little dishonest, telling Jasmine that the House has flipped and that Fiona is the new target. Jasmine is alarmed to have been excluded from this flip, but thanks Danielle for keeping her in the loop. Danielle smirks subtly to herself before leaving the room. Sebastian tries to convince Connor to vote Fiona out at the same time. He tells Connor that Fiona’s anti-social behavior has been rubbing him the wrong way, while Miranda has been making an effort to talk to the other houseguests. He feels that Miranda wants to stay in the game more than Fiona does. Connor, despite not being a big fan of Miranda, agrees with Sebastian that she is at least trying to be social and play the game. Connor tells Sebastian that he’ll consider voting Fiona out instead of Miranda; Sebastian feels this is adequate and leaves the room, thanking Connor for considering. Lastly, Brady talks with Alyssa and Peter about the vote. He has a much easier time convincing them to vote Fiona out, since they are both aligned with Miranda. Alyssa agrees with the general consensus (created almost entirely by Danielle) that Miranda is trying her best to play the game while Fiona seems like she is giving up. Peter admits that he has bonded really well with Miranda so far and that he feels the rest of the House isn’t giving her a chance to prove herself quite yet. Brady feels very satisfied with his efforts, feeling that his alliance’s plan to evict Fiona will succeed.

Jackson and Justin, on the other hand, talk to Alyssa, Connor, and Jasmine about voting Miranda out. They tell the trio that the House is voting Miranda out and that the Final Five should stick together and join the House. Alyssa zones out during this conversation, already knowing she’s voting Fiona out no matter what. Jasmine, though, speaks up, telling Jackson and Justin that she’s heard from Brady and Danielle that the House has flipped to evict Fiona. Justin gives Jasmine an incredulous look, while Jackson angrily states that the pair is lying and that the House is still set on evicting Miranda. When Jasmine states that the two of them must have been left out of the plan and Alyssa and Connor both confirm that the House is siding with Miranda and voting Fiona out, Jackson angrily leaves the room to confront Brady and Danielle for their duplicity.

Brady and Danielle are cuddling on the hammock when Jackson storms into the backyard, confronting them for flipping the House and leaving him out of the plan. Brady denies the allegations, stating that the House flipped on its own and that he merely went with the flow. Jackson calls BS, very aware that Brady and Danielle manipulated Alyssa, Connor, and Jasmine into wanting to get rid of Fiona. Brady gets off the hammock and gets in Jackson’s face, telling him to stay in his lane and mind his own business. He continues to go off, arguing that he is allowed to campaign for someone to stay and that if he doesn’t like it he should self-evict. Jackson questions why Brady would even want to keep Miranda in the game, since he and Danielle are the reason she is even hated in the first place due to their relentless gossipping. He calls Danielle the biggest sh*t-stirrer he has ever met and accuses both of them of being snakes in the grass before storming away. Danielle is absolutely speechless, while Brady promises to win HOH to send Jackson home.

As the eviction approaches, Sebastian lets Miranda know that, if things go his way, she will stay in the game. He then tells her about his alliance with Brady and Danielle, telling her that the trio agrees that their ideal final four is the three of them and Miranda. Miranda is ecstatic to hear that she has a real shot of staying in the game, thanking Sebastian for looking out for her. He says that he isn’t certain if she will stay, but that he will avenge her if she does go home. In the DR, Miranda confesses that she feels the game is starting to turn around for her, feeling she has new life in the House.

Meanwhile, Marcus tells Kandy that a lot of drama is happening between the other houseguests and that the vote may have flipped to Fiona instead of Miranda. However, Marcus promises that he, along with Rhonda and Tommy, will stay true to the plan and vote Miranda out regardless. Kandy thanks him for not ditching her, but expresses regret that the House has exploded over the past few days. In the living room, Rhonda and Tommy also discuss how Miranda appears to be staying for another week, expressing regret at the situation. Tommy argues that there will be chances down the road to get her out, and that Fiona won’t be too much of a loss either way.

At the eviction, Fiona and Miranda both think they will be evicted, but Fiona is slightly more confident than Miranda. By a vote of 7-5… Fiona is evicted from the Big Brother House. Justin rolls his eyes while Jackson looks legitimately pissed off. Fiona gets up quickly, hugs only Jackson and Justin, glares at Brady and Danielle, and leaves the House as the second houseguest evicted from the game.

Episode 5 Part 2 (HOH)[]

After Fiona’s eviction, the remaining houseguests (except for Kandy, the outgoing HOH) compete in the second Head of Household competition of the season. Fueled by the betrayal they faced at the hands of the showmance, Jackson and Justin end up as the last two houseguests remaining in the competition. Justin decides to lose on purpose to let Jackson take the title; therefore, Jackson becomes the new HOH.

Episode 6 (Understudy & Nominations)[]

In the DR, Jackson confesses that he is elated to have power this week so that he can strike back at the people he feels have put him in a bad position in the game. He and Justin celebrate Jackson’s victory in the Shakespeare Room, both of them thrilled to have some power in the game. After getting over the initial euphoria from winning power, the duo meets with the rest of their Final Five alliance to discuss the plan.

Before coming to a decision on who to nominate, the quintet sorts out the votes at the eviction. Alyssa, Connor, and Jasmine all claim their votes against Fiona, saying that they made promises to Brady and Danielle to vote her out. Justin tells them that it’s okay, since Fiona isn’t a huge loss to them; this comment irritates Jackson, who felt really close to Fiona before she was evicted. He does argue, though, that what occurred the previous week is proof that he needs to take a shot at Brady and Danielle. The whole alliance accepts the plan, but Connor wonders if they could put Miranda and Peter up as fake targets to make Brady and Danielle feel safe. Jackson says it’s a possibility, but also reminds the alliance that his dislike towards the showmance has already been made pretty clear to them and to the House as a whole.

Elsewhere, Rhonda expresses disappointment to Tommy that her fears came true and Miranda survived the eviction. Tommy agrees, wishing she had left, but reminds Rhonda that Miranda is not very well-liked and will probably leave within the next few weeks regardless. Rhonda pessimistically states she doesn’t agree, since there appears to be a growing conflict between the Brady & Danielle pairing and Jackson, the current HOH. She worries that, if more drama occurs between the two and their allies, Miranda will be able to slip under the radar and last way too long for Rhonda’s liking. Tommy disagrees, stating that Miranda’s political hot takes will remind everyone in the House why she was targeted in the first place. Rhonda is distracted during most of this conversation, though, since she notices a strange slip of paper hiding behind one of the paintings within the room. Eventually, Rhonda silences Tommy, leaving him confused. She walks to the strange slip of paper, which cryptically tells her to head to the Diary Room immediately and to not tell anyone where she is going and why. Rhonda simply leaves the room, leaving Tommy even more confused than before.

In the Diary Room, Rhonda is told that, for finding the hidden clue, she has a chance of earning herself a key to the locked compartment in the Backstage Room. Rhonda realizes that she can win herself immunity for the week and gets very excited; however, Big Brother tells her that she must complete a task in order to earn the key. Her task is to convince two other houseguests to run 50 laps around the backyard with her. Rhonda, who hates running, groans at the task, but values safety enough to attempt it anyways.

She initially tries to get her friends to run with her, but she soon realizes that they also hate running. Tommy in particular calls her a weirdo for even wanting to run for any amount of time at all. Kandy and Marcus also turn down the offer, but are a little more cordial about it. Stuck, Rhonda sulks in the backyard. As she sits there, Jackson and Justin head outside to do their daily workout. Rhonda suddenly realizes how she can complete the task and invites the two men to run around the backyard with her. Always loving a good workout, Jackson and Justin oblige without hesitation. After finishing 50 laps exactly, Rhonda tells the two men that she is absolutely exhausted - which is the truth, since she hasn’t done any sort of long-distance running in many years. The two men continue to run laps around the backyard long after she heads inside to claim her reward; she remarks in the DR about how strange it is to see anyone like exercise as much as Jackson and Justin do. Rhonda grabs her well-earned key and opens the locked compartment, earning herself the Consolation Ticket and, therefore, immunity for the week.

Once she finds the Ticket, Big Brother calls the houseguests into the living room immediately. Most of the houseguests theorize that this announcement must deal with The Plot Thickens twist; however, Matt instead asks Jackson, the HOH, to name four houseguests to be Have-Nots for the week. Not wanting to have anyone double up the second week, Jackson chooses Brady, Kandy, Marcus, and Rhonda as the Have-Nots. After Jackson’s decision, the houseguests are informed that Rhonda has found the Consolation Ticket of the week, so she is immune from nominations.

One more very important announcement is given to the houseguests. Matt reminds them all of the Plot Thickens twist and how a change to the format will be added each week. He explains that, in theatrical productions, there is a lead role and an understudy who is ready to fill that lead role’s shoes. This will be applied to Big Brother. Each week after the HOH competition, an Understudy Competition will be held where the winner will earn the power to nominate a third houseguest for eviction. The winner of this competition will be public and will make their nomination publicly. An understudy CAN be nominated by the Head of Household, and the Head of Household CANNOT become the understudy. Jackson and Justin are immediately worried about the twist, as it could throw a wrench in their plan to split up Brady and Danielle. Most of the House is excited yet nervous about the shift in strategy the twist will bring, with Tommy referring to it as the “meat and potatoes” of the weekly twists so far.

The houseguests (except for Jackson, the HOH) head outside to compete in the first Understudy Competition of the season. Jackson watches on nervously as the houseguests all compete, praying that neither Brady nor Danielle wins the competition. Thankfully for him, Connor manages to snag the win and becomes the first Understudy in Big Brother history.

Connor celebrates becoming the Understudy with his Final Five allies, all of them glad to keep all of the power within their alliance. Since they have the power to put three people on the block, Jackson argues that it would be smarter for him to nominate Brady and Danielle outright instead of using pawns, and that Connor can nominate the pawn. Everyone in the alliance agrees on this plan, and they debate who Connor should put up. Connor suggests nominating Peter, since he could act as a fake target or even a backup target in case the plan goes awry. Alyssa immediately shoots the idea down; she claims that nominating someone who could get a lot of votes is a bad idea, but in actuality wants to keep Peter safe. Jasmine asks her who she thinks should go up; Alyssa suggests Sebastian, who hangs around Brady and Danielle a lot and is essentially the third wheel of their partnership. Connor weighs his options before coming to a decision.

Marcus, meanwhile, also tries to convince Connor to nominate someone - however, he wants Miranda on the block. Marcus reminds Connor of Miranda’s numerous comments that could be seen as offensive or racist; while Marcus personally isn’t offended too much by her comments, a lot of other houseguests are. He argues that evicting her would bring some peace to the House and would make Connor pretty popular among a lot of the houseguests. Connor agrees with Marcus’s arguments, but tells him that many houseguests are trying to pull him in different directions and that he isn’t fully sure who he wants to put up. Marcus thanks Connor for considering the move, and confesses in the DR that Connor is a nice guy who he is afraid others are taking advantage of.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Jackson explains that he will turn the first key, and the face of the first nominee will be revealed. He will then turn the second key, revealing the second nominee. After he does so, Connor will turn his key to reveal his nomination. Jackson also reminds everyone that Rhonda, because of her Consolation Ticket, cannot be nominated by the HOH or the Understudy. He then turns the first key, revealing Brady’s face on the wall. Brady, not at all shocked, rolls his eyes before taking a seat on the nomination couch. Jackson turns the second key, revealing Danielle’s face; she says “predictable” under her breath before sitting next to her showmance partner. Jackson explains that he nominated Brady and Danielle since he doesn’t get along with the two of them and because showmances are dangerous in Big Brother. Connor then turns his key, revealing Sebastian’s face. Crushed, Sebastian sits next to his two allies, upset to see his entire alliance on the block simultaneously. Connor promises Sebastian that he is a great guy and is only nominated as a pawn. With that, the nomination ceremony is adjourned.

Episode 7 (POV)[]

Brady, Danielle, and Sebastian all hug each other after being nominated, all three of them seeing Jackson’s and Connor’s nominations as a line drawn in the sand. Brady comforts Sebastian, who is clearly unhappy to be on the block. In the DR, Sebastian confesses that he loves the game too much and hates even the possibility of leaving, no matter what the nominator might say regarding his status as a pawn. Danielle tells Sebastian that no one in their right minds would vote to evict him, especially with herself and Brady on the block. Brady agrees, telling Sebastian that he has nothing to worry about and mentioning that, if he is truly worried, there is always the Power of Veto for him to win. In the DR, Sebastian states that Brady and Danielle are both amazing, considerate people that he hopes to still be friends with outside of the House.

Later in the day, Miranda discusses the nomination ceremony with Brady, legitimately shocked to be safe from nominations after Jackson was so adamant about evicting her. Brady theorizes that Jackson’s vote for her was primarily to spite him and Danielle for trying (and succeeding) to save her, and that Jackson has his sights set squarely on Brady and his allies. Miranda believes Brady, and expresses regret that he, Danielle, and Sebastian, the three people she likes the most, are in harm’s way. Brady is more optimistic, believing that the POV will hopefully get more blood on Jackson’s hands and potentially save all three of the current nominees in the end.

Elsewhere, Justin congratulates Jackson and Connor on playing the nominations so well and getting the perfect combination of people on the block. Now, the Final Five alliance just needs to make sure that none of the nominees win the Veto so that they can all remain on the block, letting the Final Five choose whether they want to evict Brady or Danielle. Jackson tells the two men that he’s leaning on getting Brady out, seeing him as a stronger overall competitor. Connor and Justin agree, but both point out that Danielle is a smart player as well.

Peter decides to try to bond with some of the other houseguests, talking about the game with Rhonda and Tommy. At one point in the conversation, Tommy asks him how he could possibly align with Miranda, since the two have such different and conflicting views on politics and life in general. Peter states that Miranda comes off as raw and real to him, which he really appreciates in a game full of deception and lies. Plus, if you look past her political beliefs, she is a funny woman and a good person deep down. Rhonda admits that she decided to hate Miranda without really getting to talk to her, and that she is at least nicer and more sociable than Fiona was.  Peter promises her again that she will benefit from getting to know Miranda.

In the backyard, Danielle and Kandy decide to work on their tans, appreciating the nice, sunny day. As they lay together, Kandy expresses her regret to see Danielle on the block, since she hasn’t really done anything bad enough to deserve her nomination. Danielle thanks Kandy for the sympathy, but tells her that she doesn’t need it - she will win the Veto and get revenge on Jackson and co. for nominating her. Kandy also lets Danielle know that she made a good choice for her showmance, believing that Brady is “very attractive”. Obviously, Danielle agrees and blushes a little bit. The two continue to converse, eventually agreeing to look out for one another in the future.

In the other corner of the backyard, Justin is working out yet again, this time alone since Jackson is busy power-napping for the upcoming POV competition. After a while, Marcus heads outside and joins Justin; after only a few minutes, the two begin to strike up conversation. Marcus discusses that the result of the eviction annoyed him, since he can’t stand Miranda at all. Justin agrees, telling Marcus that Fiona definitely deserved to stay in the game over her. Marcus says that he feels the two of them have a sort of connection that they should have explored earlier, admitting he feels really comfortable talking to him. Justin agrees, wondering in the DR if he could potentially form some sort of side deal with Marcus just in case the Final Five collapses. The two men shake hands, confirming their deal with each other before continuing their workout.

Alyssa reflects on all of her connections in the House. She has her strong Final Five alliance with Connor, Jackson, Jasmine, and Justin, as well as her side alliance with Miranda and Peter. In addition, she feels she gets along well with Danielle and Kandy, but she sees both of them as potential threats down the line. Keeping all of these alliances and connections in mind, Alyssa feels she will be safe from eviction for a long time if she plays her cards right.

Kandy, Marcus, Rhonda, and Tommy also feel the same way. They hold a quick alliance meeting, with the four of them remarking that there appears to be a battle between showmance and co. and Jackson and co., with the four of them in the middle. Rhonda emphasizes to them the importance of lying low and letting the bigger players take each other out, which is how the game appears to be playing out as of now. Marcus confesses in the DR that he is flying under the radar and that his new deal with Justin should help him out down the line. Rhonda and Tommy, meanwhile, worry that they aren’t interconnected enough to survive long into the game. Rhonda talks with Kandy about this issue, who tells her about her deal with Danielle; Tommy does the same with Marcus, who fills him in on his deal with Justin.

At the Veto Player Pick, Jasmine and Connor are randomly drawn to compete for the Power of Veto alongside Jackson, the HOH, and Brady, Danielle, and Sebastian, the nominees. Jackson is happy to see two alliance members be picked, hoping to make it even less likely for one of the nominees to be saved. This hope is dashed, however, when Danielle ends up winning the competition and the Power of Veto.

Brady, Danielle, and Sebastian celebrate graciously in the Have-Not Room, especially glad that Jackson is forced to nominate someone other than one of them. In the DR, Danielle confesses that she feels very relieved to be safe, fearing she would have been the one to walk out the door had she not won the Power of Veto. Brady is ecstatic for Danielle, but is, deep down, worried for himself, knowing he will be the #1 target with Danielle off the block. Sebastian is just glad to stick it to Jackson in any way, regardless of whether their entire alliance can survive the eviction or not.

After winning Veto, Danielle excitedly discusses the joys of being safe with Kandy and Rhonda. Kandy and Rhonda both congratulate Danielle on her victory, with Rhonda saying that she’s glad to see her stay in the game another week. The trio talks more, and Kandy reminds Danielle of the deal they made, openly inviting Rhonda into the fold. Danielle graciously accepts, more than happy to have more allies to watch her back. They simply call themselves The Vixens and move on with their day. Unbeknownst to them, however, is the fact that Alyssa was listening in on their conversation and heard everything.

Jackson, meanwhile, needs to come up with a replacement nominee. He feels that, no matter who he nominates, he will get blood on his hands. Almost like clockwork, Alyssa enters the HOH room, letting Jackson know that Kandy and Rhonda might have a deal with Danielle. Jackson is displeased to hear this, worrying that Danielle could rally the troops to flip the House against the Final Five alliance. However, he argues to Alyssa that he should focus on getting Brady out now that Danielle is safe, and that nominating Kandy or Rhonda would only complicate the plan. Alyssa agrees, but points out to him that he needs to watch out for them in the future.

At the Veto Ceremony, Danielle (obviously) uses the Power of Veto to take herself off the block. Jackson explains that he needs to nominate a pawn to ensure that the showmance is broken up, nominating Peter as the replacement. Peter gives an understanding nod and sits between Brady and Sebastian on the nomination couch. With that, the Veto Ceremony is adjourned.

Episode 8 Part 1 (Eviction)[]

Brady feels defeated to see Peter as the replacement nominee, since nobody in the House really sees Peter as a threat. He feels it will be difficult to convince enough houseguests to evict Peter so that Brady can stay, but he might as well try. Brady easily gets Danielle’s vote against Peter, asking her who she thinks she can sway. Danielle says that she will work on Kandy, Miranda, and Rhonda, while Brady says he can try to convince Marcus and Tommy to vote their way.

Danielle’s first pitch is towards Kandy and Rhonda. She reminds them of their Vixens alliance that they formed just days earlier, telling them that keeping Brady and Sebastian in the game is beneficial to all three of them as an alliance. Kandy and Rhonda are unconvinced; while they do believe Brady would target Jackson and Justin over them, they also see him as a huge threat while Peter isn’t one by any stretch of the imagination. Danielle can tell that her pitch isn’t working, but thanks the two women for considering her plea anyways. Brady, meanwhile, talks with Marcus and Tommy. He tells them that Peter is close with Miranda, so that, if they evicted him, they would worsen her position in the game. Tommy is intrigued by the idea of knocking Miranda down a peg, saying that he will consider it. Marcus also says he’ll consider voting Peter out, but, in actuality, doesn’t want to go against his deal with Justin by keeping Brady in the game. After Brady leaves the room, Marcus tells Tommy that he will probably vote to evict Brady, even if evicting Peter would weaken Miranda. Tommy tries to argue that it could be smart for them to earn the trust of Brady since he’s such a strong competitor, but Marcus believes it’s too risky. The two share their opinions for a while before reaching a decision.

Danielle talks to Miranda, asking her to vote Peter out. Miranda is immediately against the idea, telling Danielle that she gets along really well with Peter and would be unable to stomach voting him out. Danielle reminds Miranda the alliance she has with her, Brady, and Sebastian, and tells her that going against that alliance would not be good for her game. Miranda snaps, telling Danielle off for using some “alliance” BS to try and threaten her into voting how Danielle wants her to vote. Danielle tells Miranda to chill before walking off, only making Miranda want to keep Peter around even more. Danielle disappointedly tells Brady and Sebastian that her campaigns seemed largely unsuccessful and that Brady is likely going home. Brady comforts her, telling her that it’s not her fault and that she can go on and win without him. Since they will likely be split up, Brady and Danielle spend the majority of the time leading up to the eviction together, with Danielle telling him that she can’t wait to see him again outside of the House.

As the eviction approaches, Marcus and Justin decide to expand their deal into a full-fledged alliance. Marcus adds Tommy into the fold, while Justin throws Jackson into the mix. Together, the four of them form a strong side alliance, promising to stay loyal to each other as long as possible. Marcus and Tommy both promise Jackson and Justin that they will vote Brady out as planned, even though Tommy is considering voting Peter out instead.

Meanwhile, Peter tells Miranda that he has a gut feeling that the eviction will go awry. Miranda promises him that he will be safe, since the majority of the House seems set on splitting up the showmance at this point in the game. Still, Peter feels that Kandy would have targeted him the first week if he didn’t find the Consolation Ticket; he wonders if he is still on the bottom of the House. Miranda again tells him that he has nothing to worry about, but Peter remains convinced that he is going home.

At the eviction, Danielle looks on grimly as the votes are cast and tallied. With zero votes to evict… Sebastian is safe. Sebastian is relieved to not receive a single vote, although he knew that no one really wanted him out. By a vote of 9-1… Brady is evicted from the Big Brother House. Danielle is crushed to be the only vote to save Brady, particularly mad at Miranda for her explosive outburst before the eviction. Brady and Danielle hug tightly before Brady leaves the House as the third person evicted from the game.

Episode 8 Part 2 (HOH)[]

After Brady’s eviction, the remaining houseguests (except for Jackson, the outgoing HOH) compete in the third Head of Household competition of the season. Tired of playing in the shadows and wanting some power and control in the game, Alyssa steps up her game and bests the competition, becoming the new Head of Household. For doing the worst in the competition, Jasmine, Kandy, Miranda, & Tommy become the Have-Nots for the week.

Episode 9 (Understudy & Nominations)[]

The Final Five alliance celebrates having power for another week, with Alyssa in particular very excited to have direct power in the House. After their celebrating, the alliance tries to work out who to target. Justin suggests finishing their job from last week and getting Danielle out of the House, especially after she proved her challenge skills by winning the Power of Veto. Jackson agrees with the idea, but Alyssa has other ideas. She says that she feels that Kandy and Rhonda are both becoming bigger and bigger threats each day, filling the alliance in on the deal that she heard Kandy and Rhonda form with Danielle. Jasmine agrees that the two women are becoming increasingly threatening. She offers another idea as well - someone in the Final Five alliance should go up as a pawn to try to mask the deal as well as the plan. When none of the men in the alliance offer to act as that pawn, Jasmine suggests that she goes up. Alyssa is flabbergasted, but agrees that the plan is smart. In the DR, she states that it’s a terrible idea to willingly go up as a pawn, since anything can change on a dime, but she’s not the one that’s on the block so she doesn’t really care that much.

The Vixens, meanwhile, can tell that they are in trouble. They see Alyssa as a girl that would go with the guys, and worry that she will skew the uneven guy-girl ratio even more. Plus, if Alyssa was to target any girl in the House, she would definitely target one of them. Kandy is especially worried, since she hasn’t talked very much with Alyssa so far and feels she could come off as a threat for winning the first HOH competition. Danielle assuages Kandy’s worries, arguing that, if any of them would go on the block, it would be Danielle since she already has a target on her back from the previous week. The three women all wish each other luck at the nominations, each vowing to try their best to win the Understudy Competition.

Miranda congratulates Alyssa on her HOH win, asking her what her plan is for the week. Alyssa states that she wants to target Kandy or Rhonda using a backdoor plan. Miranda agrees that backdooring one of them is smart, especially since the Understudy Competition can complicate things. She is also glad to see one of those two women leaving, since both have made their hatred for her very, very clear, especially Kandy. Alyssa states that Kandy is her main target as of now, but that all she really knows is that she wants one of the two out. Peter joins their conversation, also glad to see Alyssa in power. In the DR, Alyssa confesses that she has multiple groups vying for her allegiance and that she needs to play carefully to avoid going against one of these groups. Peter is on board with the plan to get Kandy or Rhonda out, calling them both “cliquey”, far more so than a lot of the other houseguests.

Jackson and Justin talk strategy with Marcus and Tommy. Justin tells them that he talked with Alyssa, and she isn’t targeting any of the four of them. Marcus and Tommy are a bit relieved, since they don’t have much of a bond with Alyssa and were worried about the nominations. However, Jackson lies and says that he has no idea who Alyssa is actually targeting, admitting that she’s a bit of a question mark in the game. Marcus agrees, stating that he hasn’t really had very many conversations with Alyssa since the game began. Justin states that they just have to hope that Alyssa is telling the truth about her plan. In the DR, Marcus admits that he feels suspicious of Jackson and Justin, since he sees the two of them talk with Alyssa a lot and assumed they were working together. Marcus wonders if Jackson’s and Justin’s true loyalties lie with people other than him and Tommy.

Danielle and Sebastian sit in the hammock together, with Danielle expressing her sadness to see Brady gone. Sebastian agrees, stating that Brady was a true friend to him and that he feels lost now that Brady’s evicted. Danielle promises Sebastian that the two of them will get their vengeance in due time and will end up victorious. Sebastian tells Danielle that she is a very comforting girl who always has something positive to say, even in the worst of times. He tells her candidly that he appreciates her presence in the House more than she can ever know. Danielle gets slightly emotional over the praise, feeling like she’s found a true friend in Sebastian; in the DR, she says that’s what’s truly important in a game like this. The two embrace before dozing off on the hammock.

In the morning, Kandy wakes up earlier than the rest of the houseguests and performs her morning routine. However, as she does so, she notices something strange peeking out behind the mirror. Taking a closer look, she finds a slip of paper and realizes that it’s a clue to the Consolation Ticket. She jumps in excitement, quietly as she can to avoid waking the other houseguests. Following the clue, she goes on a mini-scavenger hunt, finding other clues under some of the decorations in the House. Eventually, she discovers a key under one of the couch cushions, telling her to unlock the locked compartment in the backyard. She does so, successfully finding the Consolation Ticket and earning herself immunity for the week. In the DR, Kandy expresses how happy she is to be safe, especially with Alyssa as the HOH. She feels that she has saved her own life in the game and could not have possibly chosen a better week to find the CT.

As the other houseguests wake up, Big Brother calls everyone into the living room. Once there, Matt announces that Kandy found the Consolation Ticket for the week and is immune from nominations. He also reminds them that the Understudy Competition will occur within a few hours. The houseguests hold onto their seats for the announcement about the next twist, but no announcement comes. Confused, the houseguests slowly disperse. Some theorize that the twist is that there is no twist, while others merely believe that the twist will be announced later in the week.

At the Understudy Competition, Danielle, Kandy, Rhonda, and Sebastian, all feeling like they could be in danger, work extra hard to win the competition. However, Justin ends up winning out in a close battle against Peter, earning himself the right to make a third nomination.

Alyssa and Justin celebrate the results of the competition together, glad that the Final Five alliance has all of the nomination power for the week for the second week in a row. Justin tells Alyssa right away that they have to make their nominations seem separate to hide their allegiance to each other; he argues that he should nominate some sort of faux target, naming Miranda and Peter as options. Alyssa is hesitant, but doesn’t want to reveal her alliance with the two, so she eventually agrees to the idea. In the DR, Justin confesses that he’s a little weirded out that Alyssa seemed so skeptical about the plan, believing that she’s starting to become a little too controlling within the Final Five alliance.

Peter is called into the Diary Room. Worrying that he somehow broke a rule on accident, Peter cautiously walks into the DR, closing the door behind him. In the DR, Big Brother tells him that he has the power to anonymously block one houseguest from voting at the eviction. He is not told what he did to receive the power, only being told that the rest of the houseguests will be informed of this twist - which is the new weekly twist - on eviction night. Peter is allowed to tell anyone he wants about his power, but cannot show anyone the documentation of the power to prove it. Peter is elated, and lets Miranda know right away that he has the power to block a vote at eviction. Miranda is similarly overjoyed, stating that even just one vote could very well change the course of the eviction. She asks him how he managed to acquire the power; Peter states honestly that he was not informed about what he did to get the power, but that he’s glad to have it either way. The two promise each other to not let anyone else know about the power unless they feel it is necessary.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Alyssa explains how the ceremony will work. She will turn the first key, and the first nominee’s face will be revealed. She will then turn the second key, revealing the second nominee. After she reveals her two nominees, Justin will turn his key, revealing his nominee’s face. With that, Alyssa turns her first key, revealing Jasmine’s face on the wall. Jasmine feigns shock, taking a seat on the nomination couch. Alyssa then turns the second key, revealing Tommy’s face. Tommy simply rolls his eyes, almost expecting to be nominated. Alyssa explains that she nominated Jasmine and Tommy as pawns to backdoor a bigger threat. Justin then turns his key, revealing Miranda’s face. Miranda shrugs, taking a seat on the familiar nomination couch. Justin explains to her that he isn’t letting Alyssa pull any sort of backdoor, since he’s putting Miranda on the block outright. Miranda is unfazed by the speech, while Tommy feels a bit of relief that Miranda is on the block alongside him. With that, the nomination ceremony is adjourned.

Episode 10 (POV)[]

After the nomination ceremony, Alyssa thanks Jasmine for volunteering herself as a pawn, claiming that she is being a “total lifesaver” for her game. Jasmine promises her that it’s no trouble, since she hasn’t really made any waves to give anyone a reason to vote her out. Connor joins the conversation with the two women; eventually, the trio discusses the dynamics within their Final Five alliance. Jasmine tells them both that she feels Jackson and Justin are the wildcards within the alliance, suspecting that they have connections with some of the houseguests outside of the alliance. Plus, they refused to vote Fiona out, even when the alliance had decided to do so. Connor defends the two men, pointing out that they had a close bond with Fiona and that it would have been unfair to force them to vote out a close friend; plus, it didn’t change the results of the vote in the end. Alyssa sees Connor’s point, but also points out that Jackson and Justin need to start showing more loyalty to the Five, or they can kiss the alliance goodbye. In the DR, Connor expresses his annoyance with how much Alyssa wants to control everyone in the alliance and how she only listens to what Jasmine has to say. He states that he loves Jasmine, but that Alyssa needs to realize that the other members of the alliance should be allowed to contribute as well.

Ultimately, Connor decides to let Jackson know about the comments Alyssa and Jasmine are making about him and Justin. Jackson is greatly annoyed and hurt to hear the two women’s comments about him, since his actions had no impact on the eviction and that he should be allowed to make decisions that benefit his game. Connor agrees that Alyssa is acting unfair, feeling that the power has gone to her head. Jackson tells Connor somewhat ominously that the queen might need to be dethroned sooner rather than later. In the DR, Connor confesses that he feels very guilty for throwing Alyssa under the bus, but that he couldn’t stand idly by as Jackson and Justin were unfairly maligned by someone they believed was on their side.

Jackson immediately gives Justin the heads up on his conversation with Connor. Justin is extremely bothered by the fact that the alliance is crumbling. He urges Jackson to let the comments go and to focus on unifying the alliance before it falls apart. Jackson tells Justin that the alliance is already dead; Justin continues to argue that Jackson is overreacting and that they need to make amends with Alyssa and Jasmine so that the five of them can stay strong. Jackson is annoyed with Justin for telling him that he’s overreacting, and snaps a bit, telling Justin to understand his point of view. Justin is taken aback, but does damage control, telling Jackson that they can talk together about their position in the Five and decide what to do from there.

Just then, Miranda walks into the conversation, asking to speak with Justin alone. Jackson, getting a bit irritated with Justin and with the conversation, decides he could use some alone time anyways and leaves the room. Miranda then asks Justin what she did wrong to earn his ire, stating honestly that she never meant to personally hurt him and that she feels her nomination is unfair. Justin candidly tells Miranda that she is not actually the target and that Alyssa is still planning a backdoor. He does state that the two of them got off on the wrong foot at the beginning, and he is willing to put the past aside so the two of them can be on better terms. Miranda is thankful towards Justin for acting surprisingly courteous towards her, and is relieved to not actually be the target for the week. In the DR, though, she states she is worried because Justin never provided a specific name for Alyssa’s target.

Elsewhere, Peter talks with Danielle and Sebastian, trying to repair the relationship between them. He relates to the two, talking about how he feels a power alliance is forming in the House that Alyssa is a part of. Danielle agrees, stating that she feels Jasmine and Justin are working closely with Alyssa, and that, if Justin is with her, then Jackson must be as well. Sebastian points out that the four of them are dominating in the competitions and have significant influence over a lot of the House; all three vow to do whatever they can to knock that alliance down a peg. Sebastian decides that speaking ominously about taking down the power alliance won’t actually accomplish anything, so he decides to talk with Marcus and Rhonda about his fears. He says that Alyssa and Justin are clearly working together to evict whoever their target is - he doesn’t believe that Miranda is their true target, since Alyssa hangs around her more than the rest of the House does. Marcus agrees that Alyssa has been acting really fishy lately, even wondering if he is her real target. Sebastian offers a different theory, telling Rhonda that he believes she is the true target for the week. This news doesn’t shock Rhonda, who has gotten bad vibes from Alyssa since the beginning. Rhonda vows to do anything in her power to blow up Alyssa’s game, preferably in the most embarrassing and swift way possible. In the DR, Marcus states that he gets really good vibes from Sebastian and would consider adding him and Danielle as affiliates to his alliance with Rhonda, Kandy, and Tommy.

Speaking of Kandy and Tommy, Rhonda is quick to fill them in on her suspicions of Alyssa and her motives, believing that Alyssa is targeting Rhonda for eviction that week. Tommy states that he could always tell Alyssa was a big snake, stating that having Justin nominate Miranda as a fake target is the tackiest, most transparent move possible. The three continue to bash Alyssa, with Kandy declaring her desire to win HOH herself to personally see Alyssa out the door. Rhonda and Tommy make the same pledge, wanting to revolt against the power alliance forming in the House.

Marcus, on the other hand, warns Jackson and Justin about the growing resistance to Alyssa’s reign throughout the House. He urges the two to distance themselves from Alyssa before they get targeted by association, letting them know that almost everyone in the House has agreed to go after Alyssa next week. Justin is unhappy to see the House revolting against his own ally, while Jackson is thrilled that he can ensure that Alyssa goes home without getting blood on his hands. They both promise to not be fully loyal to Alyssa, agreeing that she is becoming a bit controlling and a threat in the House. Jackson is more sincere than Justin in terms of going rogue from the alliance, though, but both men are thankful to Marcus for warning them about becoming targets.

At the Veto Player Pick, Sebastian and Kandy are randomly selected to join Alyssa, the HOH, and Jasmine, Tommy, and Miranda, the nominees, in competing in the third Power of Veto competition of the season. Sebastian and Kandy both try their hardest to prevent Alyssa from changing the nominations; Kandy ends up winning out in the end, earning herself the Power of Veto - much to Alyssa and Jasmine’s chagrin.

Kandy and Rhonda celebrate the competition results in the Romance Room, glad to have thwarted what they perceive is Alyssa’s plan to get rid of Rhonda. Kandy tells Rhonda that she will not use the Power of Veto; even though Tommy is on the block, she figures that they can easily secure the votes to keep him in the game. Rhonda agrees with the idea, and believes that Tommy will be understanding. Kandy talks to Tommy about the plan. Obviously, Tommy wants Kandy to save him so that there is no chance he goes home, but he also understands Kandy’s reasoning behind not using the Veto. Tommy does agree that he is likely to stay, since he has performed poorly in the competitions and thus isn’t much of a threat. Plus, Miranda is on the block beside him - she is practically a vote magnet. Kandy points out that, if they can convince Jackson and Justin to vote Miranda out, they will have 5 votes against her - enough to send her packing. Tommy tells Kandy to worry about the votes once the Veto Ceremony is over before taking a celebratory nap.

Elsewhere, a disappointed Alyssa discusses what to do with Jasmine. Alyssa theorizes that Kandy will not use the Veto, since she is under the belief that Miranda is the target for eviction. Jasmine agrees, and asks Alyssa if Miranda is the new target. Alyssa says that she thinks Tommy should go; even though he can’t win a challenge to save his life, he is a potential vote on Kandy and Rhonda’s side down the line, which makes him a liability that they should get rid of now that they have the chance. Jasmine is unconvinced, since Miranda is still annoying a lot of the houseguests and her eviction would keep Alyssa’s hands clean. The two talk it out more, eventually deciding to reach a consensus after the Veto Ceremony.

At the Veto Ceremony, Kandy goes with her gut, deciding not to use the Veto on any of the nominees. This leaves Jasmine, Tommy, and Miranda as the final nominees for the week. Jasmine and Tommy both feel confident about the upcoming eviction, while Miranda feels her time in the game is coming to a close.

Episode 11 (Eviction)[]

After a disappointing Veto Ceremony, Miranda decides to pick up the pieces and get the votes she needs to stay. Right away, Miranda believes her best bet will be to target Tommy for the eviction, since she feels Jasmine has too many connections and is too well-liked to get enough votes to go home. Miranda starts with Danielle and Sebastian, who she wants to form a closer alliance with. She tells them that, while she only has a loose agreement with them as of now, she is more than willing to let it evolve into a full-fledged alliance. Danielle is wary of letting Miranda into the alliance, but ultimately caves once Sebastian welcomes her in with open arms. In the DR, Danielle confesses that Sebastian is a very nice guy… sometimes, almost too nice for his own good. With three votes already ensured, Miranda hopes to get some support from the HOH herself.

Miranda asks Alyssa upfront what her plan is. Alyssa tells Miranda that she initially wanted to go after Rhonda, but Kandy’s Veto win thwarted her plan. Her backup plan is to get Tommy out, who has connections to Rhonda and to Kandy. Miranda is relieved to have Justin’s promise confirmed from the source herself, and asks Alyssa if she is asking her allies to vote Tommy out. Alyssa states that she has already made the plan clear and that Connor is definitely on board. She tells Miranda to reach out to Jackson and Justin, who are still undecided.

Before doing so, though, Miranda tells Peter that she believes Connor, Danielle, and Sebastian will all vote to evict Tommy if everyone she talked to is telling the truth. All Peter needs to do is block one of the other voters - preferably Kandy or Rhonda - from voting so that the vote can tie, which Alyssa will break in Miranda’s favor. Peter commends Miranda on managing to rally so many votes in such little time, promising to use his vote blocker wisely. Miranda states that she is going to talk to Jackson and Justin to try and get their votes so that the vote blocker isn’t even necessary.

Tommy, meanwhile, feels he doesn’t need to campaign since Miranda is on the block alongside him. Marcus agrees, stating that his own vote, as well as the votes from Kandy, Rhonda, Jackson, and Justin, should be enough to ensure that Miranda goes home 5-4. Marcus and Tommy both decide to confirm with Jackson and Justin, their alliance members, that Miranda is the target for eviction. They reaffirm that they are sticking true to the alliance and voting Miranda out, which should guarantee her eviction.

Miranda makes her pitch to the pair soon after.  She argues that Tommy is playing for Kandy and Rhonda, who are both very strong players that should be taken down a peg in the game. Jackson tells Miranda honestly that he has bonded well with Tommy and he isn’t so sure if he can vote him out; Justin shares similar sentiments, but promises Miranda that he is open-minded. Miranda smirks to herself, since their votes, in the end, are inconsequential thanks to Peter’s lucky power. Still, she earnestly thanks the two men and urges them again to consider voting her way.

Sebastian laments the fact that he feels compelled to vote Tommy out, wishing that the target was Jasmine instead. Danielle agrees, remarking that Tommy is a fun, spunky guy whose time is being cut short by an unfortunate series of events. However, they both agree that voting Miranda out would be detrimental to their games, as Miranda will be a very loyal ally to them both in the future. If they can prove their loyalty to her through the vote, they will be set for a long time in the game.

Before the eviction, Peter heads to the Diary Room to make his decision on which houseguest’s vote he would like to block. He ultimately decides to block Kandy from voting, seeing her as the most likely to vote to evict Miranda after she tried to get her out during the first week

At the eviction, both factions are confident that they will get their way… that is, until Matt makes a special announcement to the houseguests. He reminds them about the Plot Thickens twist, and how the weekly twist has yet to come into effect. He then announces that the twist is happening right then and there, and that one houseguest - who will not be revealed - earned the power to block another houseguest from voting at the eviction. Matt then announces that Kandy is not allowed to vote at the eviction, instantly making Marcus, Rhonda, and Tommy very worried about how the votes will fall.

The eligible houseguests vote, with Tommy feeling especially nervous about the outcome. With no votes to evict, Jasmine is safe. She breathes a sigh of relief, even though she knew she would be safe. By a vote of 4-4, there is a tie. Right then and there, the House realizes that whoever blocked Kandy’s vote significantly changed the outcome of the eviction. Alyssa is asked to cast the tiebreaking vote; she apologizes before announcing her vote to evict Tommy from the House. Reeling from the rollercoaster eviction that just occurred, Tommy gives a pleasant yet shocked goodbye to the other houseguests before leaving the House as the fourth houseguest evicted from the game.

Votes for Tommy: Connor, Danielle, Peter, Sebastian, & Alyssa

Episode 12 (HOH, Understudy, & Nominations)[]

After Tommy’s shocking eviction, the remaining houseguests (except for Alyssa, the outgoing HOH) compete in the fourth Head of Household competition of the season; fueled by the shock of the previous eviction and feeling that she may become a target in the future, Rhonda holds on the longest and earns the title of Head of Household. Before the houseguests head inside, Matt gives a special announcement. He announces that week’s new twist - the houseguest who places last in each HOH competition will be allowed to select the Have-Nots for the week. Peter placed last, earning himself this special power. He picks Jackson, Justin, Kandy, and Marcus; Jackson complains about the decision in the DR and how obviously personal it was, while Miranda praises Peter for his pettiness.

Rhonda, Kandy, and Marcus celebrate Rhonda’s HOH victory, especially after Tommy’s shocking and devastating eviction. Marcus gives a toast to Tommy, which Kandy and Rhonda both excitedly cheer along with. Kandy, clearly pissed off about the Have-Not situation, believes that Peter and Miranda should be Rhonda’s nominees. Rhonda shoots the idea down, telling Kandy outright that she wants revenge on Alyssa for getting rid of Tommy and for targeting her. Marcus agrees, particularly annoyed to see Tommy go home, especially by the hands of a shock twist. Kandy, despite really wanting to see Miranda and/or Peter go home, ends up agreeing to the plan for now. She does promise in the DR, though, that she will try to convince Rhonda that she should change her mind.

Sebastian talks with Peter about the Have-Not twist and why he chose the people he chose. Peter explains that he wanted revenge on the House for almost evicting Miranda, selecting the people that voted Miranda out at the eviction. Sebastian is deeply troubled by this reasoning and Peter’s general way of thinking. He tells Peter that, although he feels a deep connection to Miranda, he needs to understand the bigger picture: Kandy and Marcus are not the people he should worry about. Instead, he should focus his energy on the people running the game, namely Alyssa. Peter is alarmed to hear that Alyssa is becoming a target, since she is one of the few loyal allies he has. Sebastian notices this reaction and explains himself, stating that Alyssa has made alliances with the majority of the House and may become too powerful in the game if she isn’t dealt with soon. Peter nods along, not fully on board with getting rid of Alyssa. However, he does see Sebastian’s point that Alyssa is well-connected, even if he does like her a lot. In the DR, Sebastian explains that Kandy, Marcus, and Rhonda are not much of threats in the game, especially with a major power alliance starting to form in the House - an alliance that Alyssa is spearheading.

Elsewhere, Alyssa, Connor, and Jasmine commiserate after Rhonda’s victory in the Head of Household competition, fearing that she could target them. Jasmine argues that they should all do their best to push the target onto Miranda and Peter, hoping that Rhonda will play personally instead of more strategically. Alyssa openly admits that she has doubts that such a plan would work, seeing Rhonda as a fairly strategic and reasonable player. Connor agrees, worrying that the Five will lose a member this week. The trio hopes that the Understudy Competition can shift the tide of the week.

Meanwhile, Jackson and Justin feel rather secure with Rhonda as the HOH, since they both voted to keep Tommy in the previous week and have connections with Marcus. Still, they both decide to talk with Rhonda to see where her head is at. Rhonda states openly that she wants Alyssa out for numerous reasons, both personal and strategic. Alyssa has a lot of connections in the House and hasn’t really treated Rhonda with very much respect throughout the game, usually ignoring her or shooting weird looks at her. Justin asks Rhonda who else she is thinking of nominating; Rhonda hesitates for a bit before telling him that she’s thinking of nominating him or Jackson as a pawn, since they both seem to be on good terms with a decent amount of the houseguests. Jackson immediately opposes the idea, citing his fights with Brady, Danielle, and Sebastian during the earlier weeks and how Danielle and Sebastian still seem to be bitter over those arguments. Rhonda ponders this, and agrees, stating that Justin would likely make the better pawn. Justin feels unsure, but ultimately agrees tentatively to the plan. In the DR, though, he stresses that pawns go home very often and that he doesn’t want to become another statistic.

During the majority of the conversation, Jackson notices something out of place in the HOH room. Trying his best to squint subtly at the discrepancy, he notices the signature slip of paper that signifies a clue to the Consolation Ticket. Unsure of how to grab the clue without Rhonda and Justin noticing, he simply ignores it for a while and goes on with his day. Later, though, he notices Rhonda hanging in the backyard. Seizing his opportunity, Jackson sneaks into the HOH room and swipes the slip of paper out from its hiding spot behind one of Rhonda’s photos from home. The clue tells Jackson to run up and down the staircase 40 times, then head into the Diary Room to receive his reward. A fan of working out, Jackson excitedly heads to the staircase and starts his challenge, finishing the task with ease. After finishing his 40th time going up the stairs, Jackson heads quickly into the Diary Room as some of the other houseguests watch in confusion. Once there, he is given the key to the locked drawer in the kitchen, receiving his Consolation Ticket and immunity for the week.

Big Brother calls the remaining houseguests into the living room. Once they are all assembled, Matt tells the House that Jackson has found the Consolation Ticket for the week and is immune from nominations. Matt then tells them all to head outside for the Understudy Competition. Rhonda sits out and watches as the eleven other houseguests all compete for the power to name a third nominee; it comes down to Kandy and Sebastian, but Sebastian wins out in the end and becomes the Understudy for the week.

Danielle and Sebastian celebrate the power they hold for the week, especially since they feel like lone wolves in the game. Sebastian in particular feels that his Understudy title will help him weasel into a new connection that he and Danielle can rely on in the future. Danielle tells Sebastian that she feels she can trust Kandy and Rhonda, so that he can try to work with Marcus and see what comes from that. Sebastian agrees with Danielle’s idea, and heads off to find Marcus right away.

Meanwhile, Kandy is called into the DR. Once she arrives, she is told that she has received the power to block one vote on eviction night. Again, she is not told how she received the power, only that her decision is anonymous. Kandy is ecstatic to wield the same power that was used against her the previous week, vowing to deliver swift revenge to those who got rid of Tommy.

Sebastian talks with Marcus, asking him if he has any recommendations for who he should nominate. Marcus tells Sebastian that Rhonda wants to get rid of Alyssa and is nominating a pawn alongside her. He suggests that Sebastian nominates someone who would be a potential vote for Alyssa to stay that would also stay in the game over Alyssa. Sebastian believes that Connor and Jasmine would be good choices, as both of them talk a lot with Alyssa and are clearly close with her, but aren’t exactly hated by anybody in the House. Marcus, feeling especially trusting of Sebastian, tells him about his alliance with Jackson and Justin, inviting him into the alliance. Sebastian is caught off guard, especially since Jackson - who he assumed hated him - is included in this alliance. However, he reasons that joining this alliance is exactly what Danielle wants, so he reluctantly agrees to the offer. Later, Marcus and Sebastian meet with Jackson and Justin to reconfirm the alliance; in the DR, Jackson explains that, while he did not get along with Brady, he never had anything against Sebastian and would love to work with him in the future.

At the nomination ceremony, Rhonda explains how the ceremony will work. She will turn the first key, revealing the first nominee’s face. She will then turn the second key, revealing the second nominee. After both of her nominations are made, Sebastian will turn his key to reveal his nominee. With that, Rhonda turns her first key, revealing Alyssa’s face on the wall. Alyssa is wholly unsurprised, but dramatically takes a seat on the nomination couch regardless. Rhonda then turns her second key, revealing Justin as the second nominee. Justin accepts the nomination and sits down beside Alyssa. Rhonda explains that she nominated Alyssa and Justin because she sees them as two powerful, well-connected players that are running the game. She goes off on Alyssa in particular, calling her two-faced and comparing her to Regina George. After Rhonda’s explosive speech, Sebastian turns his key, revealing Connor’s face on the wall. Connor is disappointed to be nominated, but takes it calmer than Alyssa and sits beside Justin. Sebastian explains to Connor that he is just a pawn and that he doesn’t want to interfere with Rhonda’s HOH. With that, the nomination ceremony is adjourned.

Episode 13 (POV)[]

Alyssa organizes an emergency meeting with the Five after the disappointing nominations. She points out that this week will be difficult for all of them and that the Five will probably lose a member come eviction night. Jasmine optimistically argues that, if one of Rhonda’s nominees can win POV, they could work to convince Rhonda that Peter or Miranda should go up as a pawn - only to flip the script to send that person home. Alyssa, again, is not fond of the idea due to her alliance with the pair, but does understand that the Five has no other option at this point. Jackson notices her anticipation regarding the plan and feels more strongly than ever that Alyssa might not be deserving of the trust the alliance, especially Connor and Jasmine, place on her. The Five agrees together to fight as hard as possible in the Veto to keep all of them in the game against all odds.

Pressure falls especially on Jasmine, the only non-nominated, non-immune member of the Final Five. If she can win the Power of Veto and uses it to take off one of the nominees, Rhonda or Sebastian will be forced to nominate someone outside of the Five. Rhonda would likely just nominate Peter as a pawn, but Sebastian could make a more useful decision for the Five - such as nominating Kandy. Because of this possibility, Jasmine tells Connor that, if she wins the Veto, she will likely take him off the block, citing the fact that she feels they could work with Sebastian more than Rhonda. Plus, she feels she has bonded the best with Connor compared to anybody else in the game. Connor thanks Jasmine, agreeing that he feels really, really close with her in the game.

Rhonda thanks Sebastian from the bottom of her heart for going along with and respecting her plan through his nomination. Sebastian scoffs at the comment, stating that he would have taken down the Final Five if he was HOH, so he’s more than fine with getting rid of Alyssa. Danielle and Kandy soon join the conversation, with the four all celebrating the results of the nomination ceremony. Kandy is overjoyed that Alyssa is finally getting some comeuppance, finding Rhonda’s speech against her to be incredible. The women and Sebastian hang out in the HOH room, all feeling fairly trusting of one another.

Elsewhere, a nervous Justin talks with Marcus about the week’s plan. While Rhonda did claim to be targeting Alyssa, Justin is worried that she might be lying or that her plan will backfire, causing his eviction. Marcus assures Justin that the plan will succeed, as he, Kandy, Danielle, and Sebastian all agreed to vote Alyssa out and Jackson will likely join them to keep Justin in the game. After crunching the numbers, Justin feels a little more secure, but is still anxious enough to want to give it his all in the POV competition solely to secure his own safety. In the DR, Marcus complains that Justin is acting a little too paranoid, and that his humble personality can sometimes go a little too far into self-deprecation. Still, Marcus loves Justin and hopes that they can work together long-term.

As the POV competition approaches, Alyssa, Miranda, and Peter talk smack about Kandy and Rhonda, focusing especially on Rhonda’s over-the-top, aggressive speech. Alyssa calls Rhonda a grade-A bitch and a terrible sport, complaining about how she rubbed her HOH win in everyone’s face. Miranda feels that Rhonda is entitled and is a bitter person, wanting to see her go as soon as possible. Peter, on the other hand, feels that Kandy is the true evil, as she is subtly flipping people like Danielle, Sebastian, and even Jackson and Justin (somewhat) to the dark side. Peter’s remark about Jackson and Justin baffles Alyssa, who was completely unaware that Jackson and Justin had been interacting more and more with houseguests outside of the Five. She promises to keep her eye on the duo to make sure that they don’t flip on her or her alliance.

At the Veto Player Pick, Jackson and Sebastian are randomly selected to join Rhonda, the HOH, and Alyssa, Justin, and Connor, the nominees, in competing for the fourth Power of Veto of the season. All three nominees, along with Jackson, fight hard to keep the Five intact; they are crushed, however, when Sebastian ends up winning the POV.

Danielle and Sebastian hug each other excitedly after Sebastian’s win, glad to wield even more power than they expected. Sebastian immediately states that there’s “no way in Hell” he’s changing the nominees, even dedicating his POV win to Brady. Danielle supports Sebastian’s decision, wanting more than anything to finally break up what she sees as a power alliance within the House. The two discuss how they feel they’ve bounced back pretty well after being on the block and losing Brady, and they vow to come back stronger than ever before.

Even though Sebastian’s mind is already set, Connor and Jasmine, representing the Five, do not give up in getting him to use his Power of Veto. Jasmine argues that, if Sebastian saves Connor, he can nominate whoever is the biggest threat to his own game instead of simply following whatever Rhonda wants to do. Sebastian tries not to laugh at Jasmine’s terrible attempt at campaigning; his #1 threat in the game is Alyssa, whose ass is already placed firmly on the block. Still, Sebastian acts cordial, telling the pair that he’ll consider any plan that comes his way.

Alyssa makes another, different pitch to Sebastian. She asks him to use the Veto on her so that Rhonda can nominate Miranda or Peter as a pawn to send Justin home. She states honestly that she feels she can’t trust Justin or Jackson as well as she wishes she could, since they seem to be making deals with everyone in the House. Sebastian is legitimately alarmed by this conversation - not because he has any fear of Jackson or Justin, but because of how quickly and easily Alyssa sold her allies out to advance herself in the game. In Sebastian’s eyes, Alyssa’s pitch to be saved is even more of a reason to send her home.

At the Veto Ceremony, Sebastian respects Rhonda’s nominations, as well as his own nomination, by not using his Power of Veto on any of the three nominees. This leaves Alyssa, Justin, and Connor on the block as the final nominees for the week. With Sebastian’s decision, the Veto Ceremony is adjourned.

Episode 14 Part 1 (Eviction)[]

The Five is deeply disappointed with Sebastian’s decision; Alyssa, Connor, and Jasmine all believed that their pitches would at least make him consider using his Veto. Instead, Alyssa decides that she needs to campaign for Justin to go home, trusting Connor much, much more. She starts with Miranda and Peter, who are easy to convince due to the alliance they have with Alyssa. Alyssa then campaigns again to Sebastian, as well as to Danielle, about Justin’s untrustworthiness and how he will skate by to the end and easily win the grand prize. As soon as Alyssa leaves the room, Danielle gags at the pathetic campaign, while Sebastian feels a moral obligation to stop Alyssa in her tracks. While Sebastian understands that the game involves lying and backstabbing, Alyssa often criticized Kandy and Rhonda for being liars while simultaneously going behind everyone’s backs like a snake in the grass.

Through with it all, Sebastian outright tells Jackson and Justin that Alyssa is openly campaigning for Justin to go home and is calling both of them untrustworthy. Sebastian states that, since they are all in an alliance with Marcus, he felt obligated to let the two know of Alyssa’s betrayal. Jackson feels himself filling with rage again, while Justin is simply dumbstruck by Alyssa’s actions and how quickly she decided to start her campaigning. Alyssa didn’t even wait to comfort Justin for remaining on the block before starting her backstabbing.

Jackson and Justin ask Marcus for advice on what to do. Marcus immediately tells them both that they need to tell everyone in the House about Alyssa’s actions so that her campaigns can blow up in her face; if they simply let her be, she could convince enough people to vote Justin out in order to ensure her safety. Justin disagrees with Marcus’s advice, reminding the hot-tempered Jackson that fighting will only make things worse and will break up the alliance. Jackson, however, isn’t hearing it, and immediately leaves the room to confront Alyssa. He finds Alyssa chatting with Connor and Jasmine about the vote. He storms into the room, asking Alyssa in an accusatory tone what she thinks she’s doing. Alyssa, unsure of what he’s talking about, asks him to elaborate; Jackson asks Alyssa why she is campaigning so hard against Justin, who hasn’t done anything wrong to her. Alyssa states that he and Jackson are hurting the Five by running off and making deals with people from outside of the alliance. Jackson finds Alyssa’s comment absolutely, horrendously hypocritical, pointing out her very obvious allegiance to Miranda and Peter. Jasmine, upon hearing Jackson’s accusation, realizes why Alyssa seemed so hesitant to any plan involving the use of Miranda or Peter as a pawn. Jackson states that Alyssa is truly the one who is toxic to the Five, urging Jasmine to see the light and vote for the real snake in the game. Feeling satisfied with the confrontation, Jackson storms off, leaving Alyssa feeling very embarrassed for being exposed so badly. In the DR, Jasmine confesses that she is in shock over Alyssa’s untrustworthy behavior and realizes now that Alyssa is only playing for herself and that she has no loyalty, no care for the Five - the alliance that she herself created.

Marcus is very glad to see the chaos that he helped to create, proud of himself for pushing for Jackson to confront Alyssa. With the confrontation, the Five is weakened and Alyssa is sure to go home. Kandy congratulates Marcus for starting the drama so subtly and masterfully, praising him as an “evil mastermind”. Marcus refuses the title, stating that he simply did what he had to do for their alliance. Rhonda too is very glad to have Marcus in the alliance, since his social game is giving her and Kandy significantly more connections and power within the House. No longer does the Five rule the game; a new hierarchy is in place within the House.

Jackson goes around to the various groups within the House, letting them know that, if there is a single vote for Justin, he will find who voted for him and get them sent home next week. Only Miranda and Peter truly worry about these threats, as they both plan on voting Justin out on eviction night to stay true to Alyssa. They wonder if they should vote for Connor instead to avoid Jackson’s wrath without betraying an ally. Ultimately, the pair reaches a decision hours before the eviction.

Before the eviction, Kandy heads to the Diary Room to use her power to block one person from voting at the eviction. Considering the blowups that have happened recently in the House, as well as those still loyal to Alyssa, Kandy decides to block Miranda from voting at the eviction. Kandy believes that Miranda and Peter are the only two people who would dare to keep Alyssa in the game and that Miranda is likely the person who blocked her vote the previous week.

At the eviction, Matt announces that Miranda’s vote at the eviction has been blocked by an anonymous houseguest. After the quick announcement, the eligible houseguests all vote as Alyssa, Justin, and Connor await the results. With 0 votes to evict, Justin is safe. Jackson nods upon hearing the result, glad that everyone followed his “advice”. By a vote of 6-1… Alyssa is evicted from the Big Brother House. Alyssa accepts her fate, saying a quick goodbye to the other houseguests before leaving the House as the fifth houseguest evicted from the game.

Episode 14 Part 2 (HOH)[]

After Alyssa’s eviction, the remaining houseguests (except Rhonda, the outgoing HOH) compete in the fifth Head of Household competition of the season. The members of the Final (no longer) Five fight especially hard in the competition, feeling they are slowly falling to the bottom of the House hierarchy. In the end, Justin wins out and becomes the new Head of Household. Miranda, for placing last, has the power to name four Have-Nots for the week; she chooses Connor, Jackson, Jasmine, and Rhonda.

Episode 15 (Understudy & Nominations)[]

The Final Five, now consisting of four members, celebrates Justin’s HOH victory, glad to get some power back in the game. Connor and Jasmine are interested in getting revenge on Kandy, Rhonda, and Marcus for getting Alyssa evicted, but Justin and Jackson are significantly less interested. Secretly (or, not-so-secretly in Jackson’s case), the two men felt threatened by Alyssa and couldn’t trust her as far as they could throw her. Instead, Justin wonders aloud if it’s time to go after Miranda and Peter, who are flying under the radar and are difficult to trust. Jackson agrees with the idea, not failing to mention his personal reasoning behind targeting the two. Connor and Jasmine, though, think differently; they agree that Miranda and Peter are both hard to read, but also point out that the two of them, especially Miranda, aren’t going to win a lot of competitions any time soon. The alliance discusses the plan more, all of them realizing that they can actually express their opinions without Alyssa forcing them all to agree with her. In the DR, Jackson confesses that he’s beyond glad to see Alyssa gone, feeling he can play his own game now.

Marcus and Sebastian both feel confident with Justin as the HOH, believing he’ll stick by his word and stay true to the alliance they have. They both feel they are in a good position in the game, since two major alliances are targeting each other and mostly leaving the two of them alone. Eventually, the two of them talk with Justin in the HOH room, giving him their two cents on what he should do: target Miranda and Peter. They argue that he wouldn’t get much blood on his hands, since no one else is very closely connected with the two. Plus, they are flying under the radar and could easily become end-game threats if they aren’t dealt with as soon as possible. Justin considers their arguments, wondering if he should go with his men’s alliance or the Four. He personally wants to target Miranda and Peter, but also doesn’t believe that they are as big of threats as some of the other houseguests claim. Marcus and Sebastian, meanwhile, primarily target Miranda and Peter to protect their own allies: Marcus is protecting Kandy and Rhonda, while Sebastian is protecting Danielle.

As Marcus walks back down the staircase after his talk with Justin, he notices a slip of paper on the kitchen table. Rushing down before someone else can find it and read it, Marcus snatches the paper and heads into the Storage Room. The slip of paper, a clue to the Consolation Ticket, tells him to convince a houseguest to drink a smoothie made of disgusting ingredients. Immediately, Marcus knows that Justin would be the easiest to convince; the guy would eat or drink anything if he was told it had extra protein. Marcus quickly blends slop, vegetable oil, cheddar cheese, and ketchup into the smoothie and brings it up to Justin in the HOH room. He tells Justin that the smoothie is his special protein shake recipe; Justin chugs the disgusting drink without hesitation, telling Marcus that he feels stronger already. In the DR, Marcus laughs at how easy it was to convince Justin to drink the smoothie before claiming his reward - the key to the locked drawer in the Romance Room. He unlocks the drawer and holds the coveted Consolation Ticket to his heart, feeling blessed to have immunity for the week.

Big Brother calls the houseguests to the living room. Once they all gather, Matt announces that Marcus has found the hidden Consolation Ticket for the week, and is immune from nominations and re-nominations as a result. Connor and Jasmine are both disappointed to see Marcus win immunity due to his connections with Kandy and Rhonda, but they figure that they can still get rid of one of the two women without having him on the block. Matt also announces that the next Understudy Competition will occur in a few moments.

At the fourth Understudy Competition of the season, the remaining houseguests (except for Justin, who is ineligible to compete) fight hard for power - Connor, Jackson, and Jasmine fight to keep the power solely within their alliance, while the other factions compete to get some power for themselves. In the end, Jasmine and Connor perform the best, with Jasmine winning the competition and the right to name a third nominee.

Jasmine is stoked to win a competition, especially such an important one. She celebrates with Connor and Jackson, glad that their alliance will have full control of the week yet again. Justin soon joins her in the celebration, and the two dismiss Connor and Jackson from the room so that they can discuss the nomination plan together. Justin tells her that he still feels unsure about targeting Kandy and Rhonda, believing that Miranda and Peter are flying under the radar. Jasmine is steadfast in her belief that Rhonda and especially Kandy need to go, but she decides to compromise with Justin so that they both get what they want. Her idea is that Justin nominates Kandy and Rhonda, while she will nominate Miranda or Peter as the third nominee. That way, if the alliance decides to switch up the target, they have the opportunity to do so. Justin likes the idea, but also expresses his desire to resolve who they should target now instead of later in the week.

Connor is called into the Diary Room and is informed that he has received the power to block one houseguest from voting at the eviction. Once again, he is not told how he received the power - just that he now has it. Connor is glad that all of the powers - HOH, Understudy, and now the vote block - have fallen in his alliance. He confesses in the DR that he feels on top of the world as of now and that nothing could crash him down.

Danielle, Kandy, and Rhonda discuss the insecurity they feel with Justin and Jasmine in power. Rhonda states that Jasmine appeared to be close with Alyssa, which could make her want to go after Rhonda as revenge. Danielle, meanwhile, is more worried about Justin’s position of power, as she has had her differences in the past with Jackson - Justin’s best friend in the House. Danielle is sure that Jackson is whispering in Justin’s ear about getting rid of her and Sebastian this week. Kandy doubts it, feeling certain that she will end up on the nomination couch at the end of the day. The three women continue to express their fears for the week, with none of them having a very optimistic outlook.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Justin explains how the ceremony will work. He will turn the first key, and the first nominee’s face will be revealed. Then, he will turn the second key, revealing the second nominee’s face. After he has made his nominations, Jasmine will turn her key to reveal her nominee. With that, Justin turns his first key, revealing Kandy as the first nominee. Kandy, knowing deep down she would be nominated, dejectedly takes a seat on the nomination couch. Justin then turns his second key, revealing Rhonda’s face on the wall. Marcus shakes his head at the reveal, disappointed in Justin for not nominating Miranda or Peter. Rhonda accepts her fate, taking a seat next to Kandy. Justin explains that he has nominated Kandy and Rhonda since they are a powerful duo that he feels should be broken up. Jasmine then turns her key; Danielle is pleasantly surprised to see Peter’s face appear on the wall, while Peter himself is a bit surprised. He takes a seat alongside Kandy and Rhonda, feeling somewhat confident that he’ll survive the eviction. Jasmine explains that she nominated Peter since he is flying under the radar and can be difficult to read. With that, the nomination ceremony is adjourned.

Episode 16 (POV)[]

After the nomination ceremony is adjourned, Marcus immediately heads to the HOH room to confront Justin about his nominations. Justin apologizes, admitting that his hands were tied and he had no other choice but to nominate Kandy and Rhonda. Marcus asks him why; Justin simply stammers, unsure of what to say in response. Marcus, believing that Justin’s true loyalties lie outside of their alliance, tells him that the two of them are through before storming out of the HOH room, leaving Justin feeling guilty and upset at losing a friend.

Sebastian and Marcus angrily discuss the nominations Justin made and how they contradicted his promises for the week. Marcus lets Sebastian know that he called off the alliance with Jackson and Justin, at least for himself. Sebastian tells Marcus that he’s going to stay in the alliance for now, but that he’s now more wary than ever of Jackson and especially Justin, and is willing to drop out of the alliance if things get worse. In the DR, Sebastian confesses that he feels Marcus is acting a little bit rash and that he believes everything will blow over within a few days.

Sebastian decides to spend time with Danielle, who he’s noticed has been acting increasingly on edge ever since the week began. He asks her how she’s feeling strategy wise and in general; she states that, ever since Brady left the House, she’s been feeling very alone in the House. Danielle apologizes to Sebastian for feeling such a way even though he’s still in the House, but states honestly that no one in the game compares to Brady. Sebastian agrees with her that Brady is an awesome guy, but urges her to move on in the game without him, giving her a harsh truth: she only knew him for two weeks. Danielle does agree that her feelings don’t make a lot of sense, but still can’t shake just how much she misses Brady. Additionally, she feels that she would go up as a replacement nominee in the event that one of the current nominees wins the POV. Sebastian tells her that he won’t let that happen, and the two continue to talk, with Sebastian doing his best to comfort Danielle.

Justin discusses the Marcus confrontation with Jackson; Jackson rolls his eyes, telling Justin that Marcus is being overdramatic and will probably come around before the next eviction. Justin isn’t so sure, stressing to Jackson that Marcus seemed pretty serious about leaving the alliance. Jackson simply shrugs, reasoning that the two of them already have Connor, Jasmine, and Sebastian - do they really need Marcus? Jackson believes that they don’t. Justin, however, is worried that, if Marcus has turned on the two of them, there’s a very real chance that other houseguests have followed suit. In the DR, Justin states that Jackson can act overconfident sometimes, truly believing that this will be his undoing in the game.

Miranda and Peter, meanwhile, express their distaste for the alliance that they believe is running the game: Justin, Jasmine, and their cronies. Peter is especially annoyed with them, since Jasmine threw him on the block willy-nilly at the nomination ceremony with no regard to any precedent Alyssa had set within that alliance. Miranda admits to Peter that she only tolerated the power alliance and the people within it because Alyssa kept them in check; with her eviction, the alliance is going crazy and turning the House upside down. Peter states that, as soon as someone outside of that group wins power, the group will have a big wake-up call coming.

Big Brother calls the houseguests into the living room for what they believe will be the Veto Player Pick. However, Matt instead comes on the screen and delivers an important announcement. Again reminding the houseguests of the Plot Thickens twist, Matt reveals the fifth weekly twist of the season: ALL houseguests will compete in the Power of Veto competition each week. The entire House is in shock at this development, with the nominees disappointed that the odds of them winning the POV has decreased. Once the announcement concludes, a few hours pass before the fifth Power of Veto competition of the season commences; Peter ends up winning the competition, forcing Jasmine to name a replacement nominee.

Miranda and Peter celebrate his victory in the Shakespeare Room, overjoyed that Peter will be staying off the block. Miranda, however, realizes that she will likely go up in his stead, making her a bit disappointed. Peter urges Miranda to try to convince Jasmine to nominate someone else, reminding her that Jasmine is in the same group as Justin and thus has the same goal of getting rid of Kandy or Rhonda. Taking this advice, Miranda heads to the HOH room and finds Jasmine and Justin talking about the nominations. She asks to speak with the two of them; Jasmine and Justin both accept, reasoning that they can get more information on who to nominate by talking to her. Miranda says that she feels she is the likely re-nomination due to Peter’s POV win, but she argues that Danielle should go up instead. Jasmine asks why; Miranda states that she sees Danielle talk a lot with Kandy and Rhonda, which could mean that the three women are all working together. Plus, Danielle would be a potential vote for both of them to stay if she is left off the block. Jasmine thanks Miranda, considering her argument. Justin states that nominating Danielle actually does seem like a smart choice, but Jasmine is hesitant. She tells Justin that she’s worried about getting too much blood on her hands by nominating people from multiple different factions.

Elsewhere, Kandy and Rhonda complain to Danielle about being nominated, especially as the targets for the week. Danielle, although not very optimistic about the week herself, urges them both to carry on and fight hard to both stay. After all, there does have to be a third nominee alongside the two of them, giving them a chance to both survive. The three women all hope to remain intact as an alliance for the next week.

At the Veto Ceremony, Peter makes the obvious decision of using the Power of Veto on himself. Jasmine, as the Understudy, must name a replacement nominee; she decides on Danielle, shocking a decent amount of the houseguests. Danielle shakes her head and sits besides her two allies while Sebastian glares daggers at Jackson, Jasmine, and Justin. With that, the Veto Ceremony is adjourned.

Episode 17 (Eviction)[]

Sebastian immediately finds Marcus and lets him know that he was right - Jackson and Justin are traitorous snakes. Sebastian declares that his alliance with them is absolutely, positively over. In the DR, Sebastian is at a loss for words, absolutely speechless that Jackson and especially Justin even let Jasmine do what she did. After debating for a while, he decides to head up to the HOH room to confront the two men for their blatant betrayal.

In the HOH room, Sebastian calls Justin out for going back on his word and doing nothing to protect Kandy, Rhonda, or Danielle. Justin pretends to act confused, reminding Sebastian that Jasmine made the Danielle nomination, not him. Sebastian, who is usually rather calm, explodes at Justin, telling him to stop playing dumb and hoping that he’s not actually that “f*cking daft”. Sebastian states that he knows that the two men both have power and influence over Jasmine’s decisions since they’re in the same power alliance. In fact, the entire House knows about the power alliance. Jackson yells back, telling Sebastian that he’s not as clever as he thinks he is before yelling at him to leave the HOH room. Sebastian tells Jackson to f*ck himself, in Spanish of course, before storming out of the room as directed.

Sebastian continues to go off on Jackson and Justin to Danielle, filling her in on the alliance they took the initiative of forming with him, only for them to break that alliance only a week and a half later. Danielle promises him that it will be all right, even stating that she’s confident she will stay over Kandy and Rhonda. Sebastian sees Danielle’s point, but is still infuriated over the betrayal and vows to get his revenge on Jackson, Jasmine, and Justin for the act they all committed.

Kandy, Rhonda, and Marcus all commiserate in the Romance Room. Kandy feels certain that she will go home, since she’s been on bad terms with the House ever since her plan to get rid of Miranda failed during the first week. Rhonda disagrees, feeling like she will be the one to go home for performing better in competitions. The two continue to argue over which one of them is more likely to be evicted before Marcus finally interrupts them, telling them that they could always just campaign against Danielle so that they both stay. The two women realize the stupidity of their argument and their lack of priorities before heading off the campaign.

They quickly realize, however, that the House just isn’t budging. Miranda and Peter both outright refuse the plan, stating that they get along a lot better with Danielle than with the two of them. Miranda reminds Kandy of Week 1 and her HOH reign, which makes Kandy and Rhonda realize that they’re both screwed for the eviction. They decide to give up on their campaigning already, feeling that there’s nothing they can do to change the tide of the vote.

Danielle, meanwhile, decides to ask Jasmine why she nominated her. Jasmine states that she’s heard from other houseguests that she is close with Kandy and Rhonda, the pair that Justin is trying to break up. A little perplexed, Danielle asks who specifically relayed this information to Jasmine; after a bit of coaxing, Jasmine reveals that Miranda was the one who told her. In the DR, Danielle is in disbelief that Miranda would throw her under the bus despite their deal with Peter and Sebastian. Danielle lets Sebastian know about the betrayal, telling him that Jackson and Justin aren’t the only snakes in the game. Sebastian is overwhelmed with all of the backstabbing, selfishness, and betrayal occurring in the House, ready for some order to come to the House to set everything right.

Before the eviction starts, Connor is called into the Diary Room and asked to choose to block one houseguest from voting at the eviction. Not wanting Danielle to receive any votes, Connor decides to block Marcus from voting.

At the eviction, Kandy, Rhonda, and Danielle all hold hands, all upset to see one of the three of them leaving. Matt announces to the houseguests that Marcus has been blocked from voting at the eviction, which makes Kandy and Rhonda feel even more defeated. The votes are all cast and tallied as the three nominees await the results. With no votes to evict… Danielle is safe. Danielle breathes a sigh of relief, as does Justin - glad to see his plan working. By a vote of 6-0… Kandy is evicted from the Big Brother House. Kandy is gutted to be evicted unanimously, but she leaves in the highest spirits possible - hugging the other houseguests and wishing everyone the best of luck before leaving the House as the sixth houseguest evicted from the game.

Episode 18 (Re-Entry, HOH, Understudy, & Nominations)[]

After Kandy’s eviction, the ten remaining houseguests are called into the living room for a special announcement. Once they all gather, Matt announces that all of them have officially made it to the jury phase of the game; from now on, any houseguest evicted will become a member of the jury that will decide the winner. Some of the houseguests are confused that the jury is starting with ten houseguests left, since that would result in an even number of jurors. Matt then drops a bomb on the houseguests - one of the six pre-jury houseguests will return to the game shortly.

In the backyard, which is shut off from view by the houseguests inside the House, Matt calls in the houseguests one-by-one: Helen, evicted on Day 1; Fiona, evicted by a 7-5 vote on Day 15; Brady, evicted by a 9-1-0 vote on Day 22; Tommy, evicted by a 4-4-0 vote on Day 29; Alyssa, evicted on Day 36 by a 6-1-0 vote; and Kandy, evicted that day (Day 43) by a 6-0-0 vote. Matt tells them that they will all compete in a special Battle Back competition, where the winner will be allowed re-entry into the game. This competition is endurance based, and all six houseguests hold on desperately for a chance to return to the game. After more than half an hour, Helen slips and falls, officially going home for good. Tommy eventually slips a few minutes later, also losing his chance to return to the game. Fiona, Brady, Alyssa, and Kandy do not give up as easily as Helen and Tommy, though. For an additional forty minutes, all four of them hold on, none of them relenting. Eventually, though, after 80 minutes, Fiona simply cannot hold on any longer and drops, leaving Brady, Alyssa, and Kandy as the potential returnees. Quickly, Kandy and Brady both offer each other moral support, wanting more than anything to prevent the power alliance in the House from getting a member (Alyssa) back. Alyssa rolls her eyes at this, promising herself not to lose focus. After another hour and a half, Kandy falls at an impressive time of 2 hours and 55 minutes, leaving only Brady and Alyssa. Brady does his best to distract Alyssa enough so that she drops, but she isn’t having any of it. At the 3 hour and 34 minute mark, though, Brady begins to slip. He feels he’s going to fall… luckily for him, though, he hears a thud nearby him and turns around to see that Alyssa has fallen. Brady is ecstatic to return to the game, especially considering that Danielle and Sebastian are both still inside the House.

The houseguests still inside the House are called into the living room. They are told that the first six houseguests evicted from the game all competed in an endurance-based competition for a chance to return to the game. Matt then announces that the houseguests fell in the following order: Helen, Tommy, Fiona, Kandy. That means that either Alyssa or Brady will enter the House. At that moment, the houseguests all hear the doorbell ring; the door opens, and Brady ecstatically runs into the House. Connor and Jasmine are gutted that Alyssa failed to enter the House, while Danielle starts crying tears of joy that Brady is back. In the DR, Brady confesses that he definitely felt he had unfinished business to take care of, so he’s excited to be back so that he can get revenge on the people who took him out - especially Jackson.

Before the HOH competition begins, Matt decides to fill Brady in on the weekly twists from Week 3 until Week 5. The third week, an anonymous power that blocks one houseguest from voting was introduced. Week 4 saw the introduction of the Have-Not Selector, given to the houseguest who places last in the HOH competition each week. Finally, Week 5 removed the Veto Player Pick, allowing all houseguests to compete in the POV competition each week. Brady simply nods, ready for whatever the game has to throw at him.

One last bomb is dropped on the entire House - the weekly twist for Week 6. Matt states that the last few twists have been relatively minor, but that trend ends here. Starting now, two Co-HOHs will be crowned each week instead of one HOH. Each Co-HOH will name one nominee independent of the other Co-HOH. Both Co-HOHs are immune from nomination, while the Understudy, although still making a nomination, is vulnerable as always. This leaves the majority of the houseguests in shock, but some are glad to have a greater chance of winning power.

Brady joins the remaining houseguests (minus Justin, the outgoing HOH) in competing in the first Co-HOH (sixth HOH) competition of the season; much to the misfortune of the rest of the House, especially Brady, Jackson and Jasmine both win the competition, keeping the power within their alliance for another week. For placing last, Brady, who didn’t try to win out of exhaustion, chooses Connor, Justin, Miranda, and Peter as the Have-Nots for the week.

Connor, Jackson, Jasmine, and Justin celebrate the fortunate victory in the shared HOH room, glad to be in power yet again. Connor states in the DR that he’s confident that, based on competition ability alone, their alliance can easily dominate the game. Immediately, Jackson states that he wants to send Brady right out the door that he just walked in; the rest of the alliance, especially Justin, agrees. Jasmine reasons that one of the two Co-HOHs can nominate Brady, while the other can nominate Danielle - it’s simpler to just nominate the newly reunited showmance together in case Brady wins the POV. Connor agrees, especially since backdoor plans are impossible with the new twist involving the Veto Player Pick.

On the other hand, Brady, Danielle, Marcus, Sebastian, and Rhonda all meet together to complain about the results of the competition. Sebastian is in awe that none of them were able to snag a single Co-HOH position, despite making up half of the competitors in the Co-HOH competition. Brady is especially annoyed to see Jackson as one of the Co-HOHs, certain that he will nominate him and gun for him to go home. Marcus and Sebastian both congratulate Brady on his return to the House, feeling that they can trust him more than they could most of the other potential returnees. Danielle is nearly in tears that Brady is back, but tries her best to keep herself together in front of Brady and her other friends in the House.

Danielle and Rhonda talk alone after the greater meeting. Both agree that the number of women in the House has fallen to a dangerously low level of 4/11. They both worry that the men could notice that they have an advantage and could use that advantage to get a leg up on the women. Danielle further states that Miranda is mostly floating by, while Jasmine seems to be ingraining herself with the strong men in the game, most notably Jackson and Justin. They feel that the two of them need to work together to ensure their survival in the coming weeks, especially with Jackson and Jasmine in power. During the conversation, Rhonda notices a slip of paper in the room. Trusting Danielle, she openly walks up and grabs the paper right in front of her, reading the clue aloud. The clue tells Rhonda to find the painting in the Shakespeare Room that is different from the others. Rhonda quickly rushes into the neighboring room, where Miranda and Peter are discussing politics. Not caring anymore, Rhonda openly searches each painting within the room to find her next clue as the pair watches on in confusion. Eventually, Rhonda discovers that one of the paintings reveals a hidden alcove behind it where a key lies. Rhonda snatches the key, which unlocks the hidden compartment underneath the nomination couch. She unlocks this compartment, officially granting her the Consolation Ticket and immunity from nominations for the week.

Matt calls the houseguests into the living room, where he announces Rhonda’s immunity for the week. Miranda is annoyed with Rhonda for searching so openly for the Ticket, feeling that she is acting too desperate despite not really being in any danger. Jackson and Jasmine, the Co-HOHs, don’t care much, as their sights are set firmly on splitting up Brady and Danielle again. After the announcement, Matt informs the houseguests that the Understudy Competition will occur right now.

At the fifth Understudy Competition of the season, all of the remaining houseguests (minus Jackson and Jasmine, the current Co-HOHs) put in their all to win as a result of the increasing House divide. In the end, though, Peter - who is in the middle of the divide - narrowly beats Sebastian and earns the right to name a third nominee.

Both factions approach Peter, campaigning for him to go along with their wishes. Jackson pushes Peter to nominate Sebastian, claiming that Sebastian is a strong social player that is enabling other strong players. Brady, Danielle, and Sebastian, on the other hand, push him to nominate Connor or Justin, reminding Peter of the strong power alliance that is controlling the game. Danielle specifically brings up how Jasmine nominated him the previous week, arguing that the people in power don’t have his best interests at heart. Brady ominously asks Peter to make a big, game-changing move before the trio leaves him alone to ponder his decision. Unsure of what to do, Peter asks Miranda for advice. She sides with Brady despite the fact that he named her a Have-Not, arguing that Jackson’s alliance needs to be taken down. In particular, she urges Peter to nominate Justin, who is a very strong player and is very influential within his alliance. Peter is still unsure, believing that going against the wishes of the HOHs will only put him in hot water. Miranda rolls her eyes, telling Peter that he needs to change the status quo or he’ll be walking out the door very soon.

Just before the Nomination Ceremony, Sebastian is called into the Diary Room, where he is informed that he has earned the power to block one houseguest’s vote at the eviction. Sebastian is thrilled to have the power, feeling that it, alongside Peter’s Understudy victory, could change the tide of the week from terrible to incredible.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Jackson explains how the ceremony will work. As Co-HOH, he will turn his key, revealing his nominee for eviction. Then, Jasmine will turn her key and reveal her nominee. Finally, Peter will turn his key, revealing his nominee - once he does so, the three nominees for the week will have been revealed. Jackson then turns his key, revealing Brady’s face on the wall. Brady is unfazed, refusing to react to the nomination. Jackson explains that the other houseguests all worked hard to survive this far, while Brady was evicted early and got a ticket to jury - Jackson states that Brady shouldn’t even be in the House. Danielle looks ready to rip Jackson’s scalp off, but barely manages to keep her cool. Jasmine then turns her key, revealing Danielle’s face. Danielle shakes her head, taking a seat next to Brady. Jasmine explains that she agrees with Jackson that Brady needs to go and feels it makes the most sense to nominate his “cute” girlfriend alongside him. Danielle whispers “bitch” under her breath, which Brady chuckles at. Lastly, Peter turns his key, revealing Justin’s face. Jackson and Jasmine are dumbstruck at the decision, while Miranda and Sebastian both grin very widely. Peter states that the same few people have been running the game for weeks and that it’s time for a power shift. With that, the nomination ceremony is adjourned.

Episode 19 (POV)[]

Sebastian leaps out of his seat as the nomination ceremony concludes, hugging Brady and Danielle tightly. Witnessing the display, Jackson tells Sebastian to act like an adult. Sebastian looks at him incredulously, reminding him of his many, many fights and tantrums throughout the first few weeks of the game. Brady tells Jackson that he is, quite literally, one of the least mature people he has ever had the displeasure of meeting. Jasmine buts in, reminding Brady and Sebastian that Jackson is one of the Co-HOHs and has the power to send them home this week. Danielle then reminds Jasmine that she is a bitch and tells her to stay in her lane, a remark that makes Sebastian howl with laughter. Justin and Connor exchange glances during the entire confrontation, embarrassed that Jackson and Jasmine are even participating in the exchange. In the DR, Connor confesses that he feels Justin is the only other well-adjusted member of the alliance, but that his status firmly on the block will likely result in his eviction.

After the drama dissipates, Brady, Marcus, and Sebastian meet in the Storage Room. Sebastian informs Brady that he and Marcus used to have an alliance with Jackson and Justin, but the latter pair completely destroyed it by betraying both of them the previous week by nominating Kandy, Rhonda, and Danielle for eviction. Marcus proposes that Brady joins up with the two of them to form a new alliance full of people who are actually trustworthy. Brady agrees immediately, obviously being close with Sebastian and feeling that Marcus would be loyal to him as long as Jackson, Jasmine, and Justin remain in the game.

In the Have-Not Room, Miranda expresses how proud she is of Peter for making the brave move that he did by nominating Justin. Peter admits that he’s proud of himself too, feeling very nervous about the move before making it but knowing that it was the right move to make. Miranda states that his move makes them look more favorable in the eyes of Brady, Danielle, and Sebastian, while the so-called power alliance will go after the showmance or Marcus/Rhonda instead of Peter or Miranda. Peter agrees, feeling the two of them are set to make it far in the game, especially with his big move.

On a more negative note, the “power” alliance sulks in the HOH room, devastated by Peter’s decision. Jackson angrily states that he will not hesitate to nominate Peter if Brady comes off the block, seeing Justin’s nomination as a blatant betrayal. Connor does his best to calm Jackson down, begging him to focus harder on winning the Power of Veto than exacting revenge or attacking other houseguests. Justin agrees, reminding Jackson that it is a game and that not everything can go his way in Big Brother. Jackson sees where they’re coming from, but is upset that Justin will probably go home over someone like Brady, who got to skip three entire weeks of the game that the rest of them had to power through. In the DR, Connor states that he’s getting increasingly uncomfortable with what he sees as entitlement within his alliance. Whenever anything, no matter how minor, goes against what the alliance wants, Jackson and Jasmine in particular freak out and get confrontational towards the other houseguests. Connor hopes that this week will teach his alliance members how to deal with the game not going how they want.

Brady and Danielle hang out alone on the hammock, catching up after spending three weeks apart. Brady asks Danielle if she has moved on to anyone else since his absence; Danielle states that her feelings for him have not died down at all after his eviction, even admitting that she only missed him more and more as each day passed. Brady tells her that he’s grateful for that, since he has missed her very, very much as well. Danielle tells him that, besides Sebastian and Rhonda, everyone in the House is either crazy, annoying, or both. Brady agrees, suggesting that his early eviction was because he simply couldn’t coexist with some of the more interesting and “out there” personalities in the House. In the DR, Danielle confesses that Brady, along with serving as great eye candy, is giving her both a bit of sanity and more motivation to win the game than she had during his absence.

Because of the twist, all of the houseguests will join Jackson and Jasmine, the Co-HOHs, and Brady, Danielle, and Justin, the nominees, in competing in the sixth Power of Veto competition of the season. The Co-HOHs, the nominees, and Connor all fight hard to use the Veto on either themselves or on Justin, but they are all beat by Marcus, who wins out in the end. Jackson is very disappointed to see Marcus win, knowing that he won’t take Justin off the block after their fight during the previous week.

Brady, Danielle, Rhonda, and Sebastian all congratulate Marcus on his POV win, and all ask him if he is going to use the Veto on either Brady or Danielle. Although Marcus likes the idea of messing with Jackson’s nomination, he tells the group that he is leaning on not using the power. Brady looks ready to contest this decision, but Sebastian pipes up, agreeing with Marcus’s decision. When the others ask him why, he tells the group that he has the vote-blocking power and will use it on Connor, ensuring that they have the votes to send Justin home even if Miranda and Peter flip. This leaves Brady and Danielle feeling a bit more at ease with Marcus’s idea, but they still ask him why he’s keeping the nominations the same. Marcus simply shrugs, feeling that putting more members of the group in danger when it doesn’t matter in the end is a bit pointless and that nothing really changes by using or not using the POV.

At the Veto Ceremony, Marcus makes the move that most of the houseguests expect by not using his Power of Veto. This leaves Brady, Danielle, and Justin as the final nominees for the week. Both Brady and Danielle feel confident about their survival, while Justin vows to not give up until the fat lady sings.

Episode 20 Part 1 (Eviction)[]

Jackson is absolutely beside himself now that Justin is officially up for eviction, beyond upset that Peter hijacked his Co-HOH with Jasmine to get rid of his closest ally and friend in the game. Connor does his best to console Jackson, but realizes quickly that he is inconsolable. In the DR, Connor reiterates his point that Jackson is acting a bit immature and that, although the situation sucks, he needs to grow up and accept the circumstances. However, Connor acts more supportive to Jackson’s face, offering him moral support and reminding him that Connor is still eligible to win Co-HOH next week. In the DR, Jackson says that he feels like absolute sh*t, realizing that the entire House must hate him for his confrontations, his antics, and his poor sportsmanship.

Sebastian talks with Peter personally, thanking him again for the huge move he made by nominating Justin. Sebastian tells Peter that he has changed the game and has given the rest of the House a chance to survive and thrive in the game instead of bowing to the power alliance’s wishes. Peter responds that, if things continue to go well, the power alliance will not be called a power alliance anymore. Sebastian loves the way Peter is talking, very happy to see that he is still on board with sending Justin home.

Brady and Danielle are unworried about the eviction, knowing for sure that, with Sebastian’s vote-blocking power, their safety is ensured and they 100% have the numbers to get rid of Justin. Instead, the showmance continues to bond closer and closer together, spending many hours in solitude on the hammock. Jasmine points this out to Rhonda, stating that it’s clear that the Bradani showmance is only truly looking out for themselves, warning her to watch her back if she decides to stick with them. Rhonda realizes that Jasmine is probably right, but finds it deeply hypocritical that she is lecturing her about strong partnerships and groups when Jasmine has firmly lodged herself up the ass of three strong players: Connor, Jackson, and Justin. Jasmine’s conversation, which was intended to make Rhonda consider voting Brady out, only makes her want to vote Justin out more.

It is very clear to Justin that he will be going home come eviction night, so he spends the rest of his week as he spent the beginning of the game: working out with Jackson. The two men avoid talking game, discussing their lives back home and what they look forward to when they leave the House. Justin states that he wants to get away from the drama and the craziness within the game and instead live in a more peaceful environment, which Jackson agrees with.

Before the eviction, Sebastian heads into the Diary Room to decide which houseguest he is blocking from voting at the eviction. Sebastian does not hesitate in stating that he is blocking Connor from voting, hoping that the eviction ends up being unanimous as a result. Confident, Sebastian then leaves the Diary Room.

At the eviction, Brady and Danielle both smile rather smugly while Justin appears to have already accepted his fate. Connor is informed that he has been blocked from voting at the eviction, crushing Justin even more. As the votes are cast and tallied, Brady and Danielle hold hands - not out of nervousness, but solely out of sarcasm. With 0 votes to evict… Danielle is safe. Danielle is not at all shocked to receive no votes and does not react at all to the news of her safety. By a vote of 5-0… Justin is evicted from the Big Brother House. Knowing it was coming, Justin stands up, quickly hugs Jackson goodbye, and leaves the House as the seventh houseguest evicted from the game and the first member of the jury.

Episode 20 Part 2 (HOH)[]

After Justin’s eviction, the remaining houseguests (minus Jackson and Jasmine, the outgoing Co-HOHs) compete in the second Co-HOH (and seventh overall HOH) competition of the season; Miranda and Rhonda, who both harbor bad blood towards each other, end up taking the coveted Co-HOH competitions for the week. Danielle earns the right to name Have-Nots, and is told to name only three instead of four; she names Connor, Jackson, and Jasmine the Have-Nots for the week.

Episode 21 (Understudy & Nominations)[]

Miranda and Peter hold a small celebration for yet again being able to choose one of the nominees for the week, this time with Miranda as a Co-HOH. However, Miranda expresses her annoyance at having to share the position with Rhonda, who has said nothing positive about her the entire game. Peter also dislikes Rhonda, but tries to be the voice of reason - he urges her to team up with Rhonda to take down Connor, Jackson, and Jasmine, who absolutely need to go. Miranda absolutely agrees with Peter, and, despite her personal dislike for Rhonda, pledges to work with her to achieve their common goal.

Rhonda meets a much more excited reception, with Marcus, Brady, Danielle, and Sebastian all congratulating her for becoming one of the Co-HOHs and especially for blocking Connor from becoming one. Rhonda graciously accepts their congratulations, but reminds them all of two things: one, that she and Miranda mutually hate each other, which could complicate the plan, and two, that Connor, Jackson, or Jasmine could potentially win the Understudy Competition or the POV Competition down the line, which has a chance of thwarting their plans. Still, there is very little chance that the “power” alliance stays off the block. In the DR, Brady expresses just how happy he will be in a week’s time when Jackson walks out the door.

Danielle and Rhonda discuss the nominations in private after the group meeting. Danielle parrots the rest of the group, asking Rhonda to talk with Miranda so that they can collaborate despite their past differences. Rhonda believes that she should do so, but worries that Miranda won’t be receptive and will just nominate Marcus out of pettiness towards her. In the DR, Danielle confesses that now is a great time for Miranda and Rhonda to work out their differences, as Jackson and Jasmine might try to manipulate the cracks within the other houseguests to skate by another week, just as they did at the start of the game.

Miranda and Rhonda both suck it up and approach each other to discuss the game. Miranda makes it clear what both women know - they simply can’t get along and strongly dislike each other. Rhonda argues that they need to work together this week, since they have no other choice if they want to take down Connor, Jackson, and Jasmine. In the DR, Miranda expresses how surprised she is that Rhonda is actually being receptive towards the idea of working with her. Rhonda even suggests that the two of them watch each other’s backs down the line - after all, the men have outnumbered the women since the beginning and no one would expect the two of them to align. Miranda thinks the idea is brilliant, and the two women solidify their unlikely alliance. However, Rhonda does state that she will instantly turn on Miranda if she breaks her trust even once.

Connor, Jackson, and Jasmine, all chosen to be Have-Nots for the week, lament over the circumstances of the week together. Connor diverts from his usual optimistic self, stating that he is 100% sure that two of them will end up on the block. Jasmine agrees with Connor, but Jackson tries to argue that they all have a shot. He points out that Miranda and Rhonda seem to genuinely hate each other, and that they could manipulate this hatred to put the target on other houseguests’ backs instead of their own. He specifically states that they have a real chance of convincing Miranda to nominate Marcus and Rhonda to nominate Peter. Plus, there is always the Understudy Competition and even the hidden Consolation Ticket to rely on.

Almost like clockwork, Connor notices something strange in the Have-Not Room right when Jackson mentions the Consolation Ticket. Upon further inspection, Connor realizes that the slip of paper signifying a clue to the CT is hidden behind one of the wooden beds within the room. Connor reads the paper aloud, which provides a key but does not tell him which lock the key works on. Connor immediately leaves the room, checking any lock he can find throughout the entire House. After trying six locks, which he realizes are the old locked compartments and closets for the first six Consolation Tickets, Connor gives up and heads dejectedly back to the Have-Not Room. However, as soon as he arrives, he sees a keyhole in the room - the very room his search began in. After cursing his own lack of attention to detail, Connor unlocks the locked compartment and claims his Consolation Ticket. He, along with Jackson and Jasmine, is absolutely ecstatic to have safety, especially with Miranda and Rhonda as the Co-HOHs.

Matt calls the houseguests into the living room, again announcing the finder of the Consolation Ticket - this time, Connor. Many of the houseguests, including Brady and Sebastian, are visibly upset with the outcome, while some of the others - like Miranda and Peter - try a little harder to mask their disappointment. Matt then gives the houseguests a very ominous announcement that the weekly twist this week will be very, very major, but will not be announced until the end of the week. Many of the houseguests suspect that a Double or even a Triple eviction will take place, while others worry that the post-veto nominees might not end up as the final nominees.

With the announcements out of the way, the sixth Understudy Competition is held; in a close battle between rivals Brady and Jackson, Brady manages to secure his victory - preventing anyone within Jackson’s alliance from winning nomination power. Danielle and Sebastian enthusiastically hug Brady, overjoyed to see that their plan to pick off the once-powerful alliance has not yet been thwarted.

Jackson is called into the Diary Room, where he is informed that he has received the power to block one vote at a future eviction. Jackson is thrilled to win the power, feeling that his alliance has a real chance at surviving the week. Due to Connor’s CT, one member outside of the alliance must go on the block - Jackson could then block another houseguest’s vote with the hope of gathering enough votes to get that non-alliance member sent home.

Brady, Danielle, Sebastian, Marcus, and Rhonda all discuss nominations in the HOH room. Rhonda lets Brady and the rest of the group know that Miranda was surprisingly receptive despite their personal differences, and that the two of them will be nominating Jackson and Jasmine. Thus, Brady must nominate somebody outside of that alliance due to Connor’s immunity. Brady’s options are Peter, Danielle, Sebastian, and Marcus. Immediately, Marcus advises Brady that nominating Peter could anger Miranda, and they need her to stay on their side for this week. Thus, Marcus volunteers to go on the block to make the plan work. Brady tries to tell Marcus that his gesture is unnecessary, but Marcus is adamant that he is the best option for a pawn, unless Brady wants to nominate his own showmance or Sebastian. Brady feels unsure about nominating Marcus, who he formed an alliance with just the past week - even if Marcus himself is on board.

Jackson and Jasmine, meanwhile, put in work to convince Miranda and Rhonda to nominate people other than themselves. Jackson tells Rhonda that he heard Miranda is considering nominating Marcus, while Jasmine tells Miranda that she believes Rhonda might nominate Peter. Both women separately believe that these campaigns are lies, but they do genuinely worry that the other Co-HOH will betray them. Although Jackson and Jasmine are ultimately not very confident about their campaigns working, their hopes will not be completely dashed until the nominees are revealed.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Miranda explains how the ceremony will work. She will turn her key, revealing her nominee on the wall. Then, Rhonda will turn her key to reveal her nomination. Finally, Brady, as the Understudy, will turn his key to reveal his nomination. With that, Miranda turns her key, revealing Jackson’s face on the wall. Disappointed yet not at all surprised, Jackson calmly takes a seat on the nomination couch. Miranda explains that Jackson is a major physical threat that needs to be taken out. Jasmine braces herself when Rhonda turns her key; sure enough, Jasmine’s face is revealed on the wall. Jasmine walks briskly to the couch, taking a seat beside Jackson. Rhonda explains that Jasmine has proven herself to be a dangerous strategic player. Finally, Brady makes his nomination. Peter fears being nominated; to his shock, though, Marcus’s face appears on the wall when Brady turns his key. Marcus, glad that Brady followed his advice, smugly takes a seat beside Jackson and Jasmine, much to their ire. Brady states that Marcus is just a pawn to get rid of Jackson or Jasmine. With that, the nomination ceremony is adjourned.

Episode 22 (POV)[]

Connor and Jasmine, defeated, head immediately to the Have-Not Room to sulk after the results of the nomination ceremony, even though they both suspected to see Jackson and Jasmine as the week’s nominees. Jackson heads off to follow them, but is stopped by Sebastian, who tries to hug him to comfort him. Jackson pushes him away, which causes Sebastian to ask him what his problem is. Jackson calls him a fake piece of sh*t, stating that he knows very well that Sebastian doesn’t care at all about how he feels and is just playing for jury votes. Brady, noticing the scene, stands between the two men and tells Jackson to lay off of Sebastian. Jackson screams at Brady to mind his own f*cking business, and the two go at it for a while as Danielle and the Co-HOHs watch in horror. In the DR, Danielle confesses that, while she loves Brady, his fights with Jackson are starting to get really old. She worries that, if the two go at it any longer, it will hurt not only Brady’s position in the game, but hers as well.

Eventually, the fight fizzles out and the two men go about with their day, but the tension in the House remains. Marcus, Rhonda, and Sebastian discuss how the Brady vs. Jackson conflict is starting to get really tiring to deal with, even if they side firmly with Brady. Rhonda states that her main goal is to get Jackson out, as that will hopefully bring more peace to the House. Sebastian agrees that Jackson needs to go, but Marcus and Rhonda can tell that he feels this way more because of his personal distaste for Jackson than because of “the greater good of the House” or any strategic reason.

Meanwhile, Danielle decides that she needs to ease the tensions in the House if she wants to have any chance of winning. She heads into the Have-Not Room, where she finds Connor, Jackson, and Jasmine sulking. She asks to talk with them; they, Jasmine in particular, are very apprehensive, but let her in to avoid another fight. Once inside the room, Danielle apologizes to them all for her and Brady’s actions towards them, hoping that they can all get along instead of being at each other’s throats all the time. Connor forgives her right away, which leaves Jackson and Jasmine a bit shocked and unsure of what to say. Eventually, the two reluctantly forgive Danielle as well, and promise her that they’ll try their best to get along better and put the past behind them in the game. In the DR, Jasmine confesses that, while she and Danielle don’t really get along much, she can at least respect her as a player and doesn’t hate her outright. Jackson, though, states in the DR that he can’t think of any task more difficult than not blowing up at Brady and Sebastian, who he loathes with every fiber of his being.

After what Danielle sees as a successful conversation with the opposing alliance, she decides to talk with Brady and correct his behavior. She decides to be upfront, telling him that his endless fights with Jackson are immature and are hurting both of their games. She apologizes for giving him the harsh truth, but tells him that he needs to hear it and improve. Brady feels a bit attacked by Danielle, but knows deep down that she has his best interests at heart and that she has a serious point. He promises her that he’ll try to be better in the future, and gives her a kiss on the cheek before heading off into the kitchen. In the DR, Danielle confesses that she’s very proud of Brady for his openness and hopes that he’ll change his ways for the better, since fighting Jackson constantly when he’s already heading out the door is pointless and only burns bridges.

Miranda and Peter discuss what they want to see happen with the week. Miranda says that, ideally, Jackson will go home this week - not only is he a competition threat, but he has made it abundantly clear that he doesn’t like her at all. Peter agrees, stating that Jackson is a much bigger threat overall than Jasmine. However, he also says that he thinks Connor is the biggest threat out of their whole group due to his social game and competition wins, but his Consolation Ticket makes getting him out impossible. Miranda then reminisces on the earlier parts of the game, where she was targeted constantly and mostly ostracized by the rest of the House; despite all of that, though, she powered through and made it all the way to jury. Peter says that he was thrust into a similar situation and also managed to overcome the odds, mostly by sinking under the radar as the big players took each other out. Brady, Alyssa, and Kandy - all fell pre-jury (although Brady did return) by playing too hard, too fast.

Due to the Plot Thickens twist, all of the houseguests will join Miranda and Rhonda, the Co-HOHs, and Jackson, Jasmine, and Marcus, the nominees, in competing for the Power of Veto. In the seventh Veto competition of the season, Jackson and Jasmine are both delighted to see Connor pull ahead and win the competition.

Jackson, Jasmine, and Connor celebrate the competition’s outcome, glad to see that one of Jackson or Jasmine will get pulled off the block. The three of them discuss together how the Veto should be used, with Jackson and Jasmine both trying to get Connor to use it on them. Jackson argues that it will be easier to convince houseguests to vote in Jasmine’s favor, since she gets in less fights with the houseguests than he does. Therefore, all three of the alliance’s members could survive if Connor uses the Veto on Jackson. Jasmine, on the other hand, argues that, if she is saved, Rhonda could put up Peter - who would surely attract some votes. Miranda, if Jackson was saved, would likely just put up someone who would never go home, like Danielle. The three discuss the issue, and Connor struggles to reach a decision. In the DR, he confesses that he wishes he could save both Jackson and Jasmine, and is worried that the nominee he doesn’t save will be angry with him for his decision.

Miranda and Rhonda, meanwhile, complain about the results of the competition before trying to come up with a replacement that they both can agree on. Miranda immediately rules Peter out of consideration; although Rhonda feels Peter would be the best pawn, she decides not to fight Miranda on the issue and instead agrees to the condition. Brady is also ruled out, since his confrontational nature could get him sent home over Jackson or Jasmine. This leaves Danielle and Sebastian - Rhonda argues for Sebastian to go up due to her deal with Danielle, but struggles to convince Miranda of this. Miranda points out that Sebastian has gotten involved in some of the conflicts in the House, while Danielle has mostly stayed out of them and thus would not go home.

At the Veto Ceremony, Connor announces his decision to use the Power of Veto on Jackson, forcing Miranda, the Co-HOH that nominated him, to name a replacement nominee. After considering her decision and stating that she doesn’t have very many options, she decides to name Danielle the replacement nominee. A bit disappointed to be on the block again, Danielle sits on the nomination couch next to Jasmine and Marcus. With that, the Veto Ceremony is adjourned.

Episode 23 Part 1 (Eviction #1)[]

Immediately after the Veto Ceremony, Miranda apologizes sincerely to Danielle. She justifies her decision, though, stating that, of her limited options for re-nomination, she felt she would be the least likely to be evicted over Jasmine. Danielle pretends to be perfectly okay with the reasoning, but she is pissed off in reality. She rants in the DR about how she and Miranda supposedly had a deal, but that deal was just broken. She also expresses incredulity over being nominated over f*cking Sebastian as “less of a threat”, stating that Sebastian is as harmful (and as adorable) as a teddy bear. Danielle states with finality that she is done with Miranda and will not be afraid of sending her home in the future.

Brady and Sebastian sense Danielle’s anger and do their best to comfort her, promising her that she has the votes to stay even if one of the opposing alliance members got the vote blocker. Brady, Sebastian, and Peter can all vote - even if one of those votes is blocked, two votes is enough to force a tie, which both Co-HOHs would break in Danielle’s favor. Still, Danielle feels betrayed by Miranda, even if her options for nominations were supposedly limited. Sebastian tells Danielle that she is beautiful, amazing, and cannot be defeated by any enemy. This remark makes Danielle smile, and she thanks Sebastian for the unrelenting support. In the DR, Danielle states that she never imagined she would find a friend like Sebastian in the Big Brother House, thanking the BB gods again for her once-in-a-lifetime experience of playing Big Brother.

Connor, Jackson, and Jasmine are similarly doing their best to ensure that Jasmine stays in the game. Jackson reminds his allies that he has the vote blocker, which will automatically let them force a tie. If they can convince Peter to vote Danielle or Marcus out instead of Jasmine, then they will have enough votes to keep her in the game. This thought gives Jasmine some hope, but she does tell her allies that she’s very skeptical that Peter would flip his vote. Still, it’s worth a try, so they all set out to try to change his mind. Connor decides to do the talking. He asks Peter where he’s leaning for the vote; Peter decides to be honest, telling him that he’s likely going to vote Jasmine out. Connor is understanding, but makes his pitch. He tells Peter that he’s seen Danielle acting unnaturally neurotic and pissy, suggesting that she is a little peeved to be on the block. Connor warns Peter that Danielle could feel betrayed by Miranda for nominating her and could take it out on not only Miranda, but Peter as well. Peter’s eyes go wide, as he hadn’t considered Danielle feeling betrayed until that moment. He promises Connor that he’ll consider voting Danielle out instead, which gives Connor some hope that the week really will go well for his alliance after all.

As the eviction approaches, Marcus decides to talk with Peter to make sure that he’s still on board with sending Jasmine home. As they talk, though, Marcus feels a little unsure if Peter really is on board. Eventually, Peter decides to be honest, telling Marcus that he is thinking about voting Danielle out, pointing out her annoyance with being nominated as a reason. Marcus’s jaw drops, not even believing the words he’s hearing. He tells Peter that that’s “bullsh*t”, that Danielle is firmly against Connor, Jackson, and Jasmine just like everybody else. Peter shrugs, stating that he doesn’t agree. Marcus is ready to go off on Peter right then and there, but manages to keep his cool. Instead, he states in the DR that Peter would be a grade-A dumbass if he aided Connor, Jackson, or Jasmine in any way whatsoever.

Matt calls the houseguests into the living room to begin the live eviction show. Jackson is very confused by this, as he was never called into the Diary Room to make his decision of which vote to block at the eviction. Still, he hopes that he will get a chance later and joins the other houseguests in the living room.

Once everyone is gathered, Matt reminds them all of his ominous speech from earlier - that this week’s weekly twist would be announced at the live eviction show. Matt then decides to drop the bomb. As usual, the Co-HOHs will not vote in the eviction. However, neither will all of the non-nominated houseguests. Only the three nominees will vote during the eviction. Immediately, Jackson’s head falls as he realizes what is about to happen, while many of the other houseguests are left in shock.

With the bomb dropped, the nominees go one-by-one into the Diary Room to vote one of the other nominees out. Once all three votes are tallied, Matt begins announcing the results. With zero votes to evict… Marcus is safe. Marcus breathes a sigh of relief, glad that the twist wasn’t his demise. By a vote of 2-1… Jasmine is evicted from the Big Brother House. Jasmine is absolutely dejected to be evicted, feeling that the twist screwed her over. Still, she wishes the other houseguests good luck before leaving the House as the second member of the jury.

Episode 23 Part 2 (Eviction #2)[]

After Jasmine’s eviction, Matt tells the nine remaining houseguests that the Plot Thickens twist is officially over - however, to commemorate the end of the twist, another houseguest will leave the House that night. With many of the houseguests still in shock over the bombshell twist, Brady, Connor, Danielle, Jackson, Marcus, Peter, & Sebastian compete in the eighth Head of Household competition of the season; Danielle ends up winning the competition.

Immediately, Danielle discusses her plan with Brady and Sebastian - she wants to backdoor Connor. Brady agrees that a backdoor is smart due to Connor’s strong performance in competitions, but Sebastian feels that the plan is too risky - Connor could win the Veto regardless, ruining the whole plan. Sebastian argues that Danielle should just play it safe and nominate Connor and Jackson side-by-side to guarantee that one of them goes home.

Danielle heads back into the living room and goes with her gut, ignoring Sebastian’s advice and nominating Miranda and Peter for eviction as pawns. Peter immediately feels justified in his skepticism involving Danielle before vowing to win the Veto to throw off whatever Danielle’s plan is.

Connor, Jackson, and Marcus are randomly selected to join Danielle, the HOH, and Miranda and Peter, the nominees, in competing for the Power of Veto. Danielle is worried to see both Connor and Jackson picked, hoping that she can beat both of them. Unfortunately for her, Jackson ends up pulling out the win.

Jackson doesn’t bother discussing the plan - he can tell that Danielle is planning a backdoor and that using the Power of Veto would only ensure Connor’s re-nomination. At the Veto Ceremony, Jackson decides not to use the Power of Veto on either nominee, leaving Miranda and Peter as the final nominees.

Before the voting, Matt reveals that Jackson still has his vote blocking power and must block one houseguest’s vote publicly. He decides to prevent Rhonda from voting, admitting that he has no idea what to do and picked a random person. After that, the eligible houseguests all vote for either Miranda or Peter to go home. By a vote of 4-1… Peter is evicted from the Big Brother House. Miranda hugs Peter tightly, very upset to see him go home. Peter wishes Danielle nothing but terrible luck, leaving her more than a little shocked. He storms out of the House dramatically after saying very heartfelt goodbyes to Miranda, becoming the third member of the jury.

Episode 24 (HOH & Nominations)[]

After Peter’s eviction, Brady, Connor, Jackson, Marcus, Miranda, Rhonda, & Sebastian compete in the ninth Head of Household competition of the season; Miranda ends up on top, securing herself power after losing her closest ally in the House. The rest of the House is significantly less stoked, though, as they have no idea where Miranda stands in the game. For placing in the bottom three, Jackson, Marcus, and Rhonda are the Have-Nots for the week.

Marcus and Rhonda discuss Miranda’s victory together. Rhonda states that she feels surprisingly confident with Miranda as the HOH, filling Marcus in on the deal the two women made as Co-HOHs the previous week. Marcus is immediately skeptical of this, though; he tells Rhonda that Miranda seems like a very opportunistic woman who wouldn’t hesitate to break a promise or stab an “ally” in the back. Rhonda promises Marcus that the two of them will be safe, reminding him that, as long as Jackson stays in the game, he will be the prime target to go home.

Danielle curses at herself for being so stupid during the Double Eviction, especially now that Miranda is the HOH. Sebastian tells her that everything will be okay, but Danielle isn’t convinced. She tells her allies that her goal was to backdoor Connor because he is so good in competitions, but the plan backfired miserably. Now, Miranda is probably pissed off at her for accidentally sending her closest ally home. Brady hugs Danielle tightly, doing his best to calm her down; eventually, Danielle takes a few deep breaths and relaxes a bit, even though she’s still very nervous for the week. In the DR, Danielle confesses that she would have probably walked from the game long ago without the relentless support from Brady and Sebastian and that she can’t thank them enough for simply being great people.

Connor and Jackson lament in the Have-Not Room, devastated to lose another HOH. Connor’s usually optimistic demeanor is completely gone; he is 100% sure that he is going to get sent home this week. Jackson again tries to convince Connor that there is a real chance of them surviving the week - they just need to talk with Miranda to convince her to target somebody else. Jackson decides to do the job of approaching Miranda. He asks her what her plan is for the week. Miranda leans in close, whispering to him that she kind of wants to break up the Brady & Danielle showmance. Jackson is shocked to hear this, yet very, very excited at the same time. On the spot, Jackson suggests to her that, since Peter is gone, she can rely on him and Connor as full-time allies. Miranda’s face lights up and she graciously accepts the deal despite her differences with Jackson in the past. The two embrace and Jackson practically skips back to the Have-Not Room to relay the news to Connor.

Alone in the HOH Room, Miranda debates who she should nominate. She wants to backdoor Brady or Danielle - not because she thinks it’s a good idea strategically, but because she wants to see the looks on their faces when they are blindsided. To accomplish her backdoor plan, she decides to craft an elaborate plan where she pretends that she is nominating Marcus and Rhonda due to personal dislike, but she’s actually (pretending to) backdoor Connor, when in actuality the backdoor target is Brady/Danielle. She feels that the plan is too complicated for Brady and Danielle to figure it out, and is content with her idea. After filling Connor and Jackson in on the plan, Miranda decides to enjoy the peace and quiet of her first solo HOH reign.

Danielle is only growing increasingly nervous about the week, since Miranda hasn’t bothered to communicate the plan to her at any point. Eventually, she swallows her pride and approaches Miranda herself; Miranda tells her the lie - she will probably nominate Marcus and Rhonda as faux targets, when her real target is the Connor & Jackson duo. Danielle breathes a sigh of relief, thanking Miranda for sparing her. Danielle then apologizes for her nominations during the Double Eviction, letting Miranda know that her plan was to backdoor Connor, but the POV ruined her plans. In the DR, Miranda rants about Danielle, calling her an idiot for trying to backdoor a duo when she could have just nominated them outright. Miranda firmly believes that Danielle is lying and that she deliberately broke up the Miranda & Peter duo.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Miranda explains how the ceremony will work. She will turn the first key, and the first nominee’s face will appear on the wall. Afterwards, she will turn her second key, revealing her second nomination. With that, she turns her first key, revealing Marcus’s face on the wall. Marcus shares a panicked glance with Rhonda before taking a seat on the new nomination chair. Miranda then turns her second key, revealing Rhonda’s face. Rhonda’s jaw drops at the blatant betrayal as she stomps dramatically to the nomination chair and takes a seat. Miranda wastes no words, simply stating that her decision was 100% personal. With that, the Nomination Ceremony is adjourned.

Episode 25 (POV)[]

Rhonda immediately confronts Miranda about the nominations and her speech, clearing enraged. Miranda pulls her aside into the Storage Room, telling her that she and Marcus are just pawns for a backdoor plan involving Connor or Jackson. Rhonda feels a bit more at ease, but reminds Miranda of how well Danielle’s similar plan worked out a few days prior. Miranda then lets Rhonda know that she’s convinced Connor and Jackson that she is actually backdooring Brady, so they will use the Veto if one of them wins it. Rhonda, realizing that Miranda is telling the truth about not targeting her, apologizes for getting so angry. The two women embrace, and Rhonda quickly leaves the room to let Marcus know the good news.

Marcus is talking with Brady and Sebastian, complaining about the nominations and revealing that Rhonda made a deal with Miranda that Miranda broke almost immediately. Sebastian decides to say nothing, but Brady spills that Miranda is actually backdooring Connor and Jackson, asking Marcus how he didn’t know. Marcus tells the two men and Miranda didn’t say sh*t about a backdoor plan to him at any point. At that moment, Rhonda lets Marcus know that Miranda is planning on backdooring Connor or Jackson and that the two of them should be safe. Marcus is bothered by the plan, reminding the group that Danielle had almost the exact same plan and it failed miserably. Rhonda then tells Marcus that Connor and Jackson believe the plan is to backdoor Brady, and that Miranda is convinced that, if one of them wins Veto, they will use it. Marcus is even more enraged than before, asking aloud why literally everyone in the House except for him and Rhonda knew that they were going on the block. Why would Miranda tell literally every other person except her two pawns about a backdoor plan? Marcus declares that Miranda cannot be trusted and that he would not be surprised to go home this week. Brady tells Marcus to chill, but Sebastian sides with Marcus. He agrees that Miranda’s plan seems very suspicious and that she seems to be lying to everybody in the House at the same time.

Miranda laughs about the Nomination Ceremony with Connor and Jackson, finding it hilarious how angry Marcus and Rhonda were. Jackson agrees that it was funny, but also reminds Miranda that the pair could turn on her if they get mad. Miranda tells Jackson that she’s already made amends with the two of them… which will probably change once she betrays Brady and Danielle, but at that point she and her alliance will be in complete control. Connor laughs somewhat evilly, which surprises and amuses his allies. Jackson confesses in the DR that he finally feels back on top after several weeks of losing allies and becoming the underdog.

The House is almost completely quiet after the Nomination Ceremony, which surprises Danielle. As she sits with Brady on the hammock as they typically do, she jokingly states how weird it is that he and Jackson didn’t get into a screaming match after nominations for once. Brady laughs, admitting that, while he can usually control his temper at least somewhat, Jackson drives him so crazy that he can’t help but blow up in response. Danielle rolls her eyes, admitting to him that she gets really annoyed with their fighting. Brady states incredulously that he gets annoyed having to fight Jackson all the time, but the kid never lets up. Danielle glares at Brady, laughs, then drifts off to sleep as Brady cuddles her.

At the Veto Player Pick, Jackson, Brady, and Danielle are randomly selected to join Miranda, the HOH, and Marcus & Rhonda, the nominees, in competing in the ninth Power of Veto competition of the season. Wanting to prevent Jackson from winning, Brady gives it his all and crushes the competition.

Brady and Marcus celebrate the competition’s results, glad to be able to use the Veto on Marcus to backdoor Jackson for good. Brady in particular thoroughly expresses his gratitude that neither Jackson nor Connor were able to win the Veto and thwart the rest of the House’s plan. Later, the two men meet with Sebastian to discuss the plan for the rest of the week. Sebastian states the obvious - once the time comes, everybody except for Connor will vote off Jackson over Rhonda, sending him home in a 4-1 vote. Throughout the conversation, however, Sebastian shoots nervous glances at Brady to signal that he needs to talk with him one-on-one. Eventually, Marcus leaves the room, leaving Brady and Sebastian alone.

Sebastian doesn’t build up to his concerns at all, outright stating that he believes it’s a bad idea for Brady to use the Power of Veto. Brady is stunned to hear this, and demands Sebastian to explain his reasoning. Sebastian states that he finds Miranda’s overly complex backdoor plan to be very fishy, to say the least. He warns Brady that Miranda could, in fact, be after him and Danielle, urging him to play it safe and keep the nominees the same. Brady is confounded by the entire exchange, telling Sebastian that it would be “idiotic” for him to betray Marcus, a friend of his, like that. Brady calls Sebastian paranoid and leaves the room; Sebastian merely shakes his head, hoping that Brady changes his mind. Danielle, meanwhile, is in full panic mode, sharing similar concerns to Sebastian. She feels that Miranda is holding a grudge against her for getting Peter out on accident, and that she is seeking revenge by breaking up her showmance with Brady. Danielle finds it suspicious that Miranda is acting oddly friendly to Jackson, who is supposed to hate her and who is supposed to be the backdoor target. She decides to take matters into her own hands, seeing if she can convince Brady to not use the Veto.

Brady and Danielle cuddle on the hammock as they calmly (despite Danielle’s panic) discuss Brady’s upcoming decision. Danielle basically parrots Sebastian, telling Brady that Miranda is a total wild card in the game with no allies who could and would do anything to stir up the pot if it earned her one more round in the game. Therefore, he shouldn’t take risks when he could very easily keep the both of them safe by not using the Veto at all. Brady remains adamant that he needs to save Marcus and get rid of Jackson for good. Danielle ends up getting emotional, nearly tearing up and reminding Brady of how awful it was to be apart from each other - he would have to endure those same feelings if he were to take a risk that went awry. This gets to Brady, making him truly consider if Danielle and Sebastian are right and that Miranda is not to be trusted.

At the Veto Ceremony, Brady ruminates on his decision for a long while before finally announcing his decision: to not use the Power of Veto on either nominee, leaving Marcus and Rhonda on the block. Marcus is absolutely shocked to not have been saved, while Jackson’s look of visible disappointment reaffirms Danielle's and Sebastian’s suspicions. With that, the Veto Ceremony is adjourned.

Episode 26 Part 1 (Eviction)[]

Marcus, reeling from Brady’s strange decision, approaches him, demanding answers. Marcus reminds Brady of their alliance with Sebastian and how he feels he will be evicted now that he’s still on the block. Brady justifies himself, stating that he felt Miranda was working with Connor and Jackson and would have nominated Danielle if the Veto was used. Marcus is annoyed by this answer, calling Brady paranoid before angrily storming off. Brady stops him, though, promising him that he can convince Sebastian and Danielle to vote against Rhonda instead. In the DR, Marcus complains that he feels completely betrayed by Brady’s puzzling decision, stating that he really can only trust himself in this game.

Miranda disappointedly discusses the Veto Ceremony with Connor and Jackson. Jackson states that Brady and co. must have caught onto Miranda’s plan and have thwarted it completely. Miranda curses herself for acting so stupidly, realizing that she made the exact same mistake Danielle did the previous round. She should have nominated Brady and Danielle outright, which would have made the plan virtually risk-free. The trio then discusses the new plan of action; Jackson states that Marcus should be the one to go, since he seems more connected with Brady and Sebastian in particular than Rhonda is. Miranda agrees for two reasons - she states aloud that she feels Rhonda is more of a lone wolf, but secretly wants to keep Rhonda around due to the partnership the two formed the previous week.

Miranda fills Rhonda in on the new plan, first promising her that it was never her intention for her and Marcus to end up as the final nominees. She then promises Rhonda that she is not the target to go home - Marcus is. However, Miranda warns Rhonda that it might be hard to get a third vote (Connor and Jackson are two) to vote Marcus out. Miranda suggests that she reaches out to Danielle, who is the most likely candidate to vote Marcus out. Rhonda is fairly confident that she can convince Danielle to keep her, but is also worried that she will side with her allies in keeping Marcus around. Rhonda reminds Danielle of their final two agreement, urging her to abide by that promise. Danielle, who had previously been approached by Brady and Sebastian asking her to vote for Rhonda, tells Rhonda honestly that she isn’t sure. She wants to keep Rhonda around, but her allies want her to keep Marcus. Rhonda argues that Brady and Sebastian, with enough convincing from Marcus, could jump ship on her and go to the end with him instead. Danielle, in the end, needs to either make a choice for her independent game or appease her allies.

At the eviction, Rhonda and Marcus hold hands, upset to be separated after eight weeks of friendship. By a vote of 3-2… Marcus is evicted from the Big Brother House. Marcus hugs Rhonda tightly, who winks at Danielle during the hug. Marcus says his goodbyes to everyone before leaving the House as the fourth member of the jury.

Episode 26 Part 2 (HOH)[]

After Marcus’s eviction, Brady, Connor, Danielle, Jackson, Rhonda, and Sebastian compete in the tenth Head of Household competition of the season. Much to the dismay of Brady, Danielle, and Sebastian, Connor ends up winning the competition. For placing in the bottom two, Danielle and Sebastian become the Have-Nots for the week.

Episode 27 (Nominations)[]

Brady, Danielle, Rhonda, and Sebastian hold an emergency meeting in the Have-Not Room, distraught that Connor and Jackson are in power again. Sebastian states pessimistically but honestly that there is zero chance that Connor nominates Miranda, meaning that two people in the room will end up on the block. Danielle instantly states that she has already accepted that she is going on the block with Brady. Sebastian, though, says that he isn’t so sure; he feels that Connor is 100% after himself and Brady and might leave the girls alone. Brady simply sits silently, obviously frustrated with what’s happening and feeling that he’ll be heading home again.

Eventually, Rhonda leaves the room to get some sleep. At that point, Brady and Sebastian berate Danielle for voting differently than them and sending Marcus home. Danielle defends her vote by stating that she voted based on what was best for her game. Brady counters this, telling her that she must have been swindled by Connor and Jackson to act against her own best interests. Danielle, starting to get irritated, asks why keeping Marcus is best for her game. Sebastian, unable to come up with a good justification, states that Marcus could win competitions for their group. Danielle scoffs at this, pointing out that Marcus has generally performed terribly in competitions. She tells the two men that she knew about their secret alliance with Marcus and that she’s hurt by their lack of honesty. She then storms out of the room, leaving both of her allies feeling guilty.

Meanwhile, Connor, Jackson, and Miranda practically squeal in excitement at having power for another week. Miranda in particular is very happy, glad that they’ll have the chance to split Brady and Danielle up. Upon hearing this, Connor shoots Jackson a look. In the DR, Connor states that he wants to see one of the men in the other alliance go home - he doesn’t necessarily want to split the showmance up. However, since Miranda is a very fickle person, neither he nor Jackson, who agrees, says anything. Danielle walks into the room and asks to speak with Connor alone. Reluctantly, Jackson and Miranda leave the HOH room and let the two talk. Danielle tells Connor about her interaction with Brady and Sebastian and how the two are far tighter than she is with Brady. She suggests that he nominates the two men next to each other to ensure that their bond is separated. Connor is confused, telling Danielle that she is throwing her closest allies under the bus. Danielle drops her head and states that they both yelled at her earlier in the day, and that she is starting to feel unsure of where she stands in the game. Connor comforts her, telling her that, even if the two of them are on different sides of the game, he really respects her as a person and believes that she shouldn’t have to be yelled at or berated by her own allies. Danielle thanks Connor for the support, and confesses in the DR that Connor seems like the one ray of light in a particularly dramatic and personal season.

Connor talks with Jackson about the interaction he had with Danielle. Jackson feels that Danielle’s emotions are confirmation that Brady and Sebastian simply aren’t good people and should both be sent home. Connor absolutely agrees, stating that he’s getting really tired of both of their antics. However, he defends Sebastian, stating that he’s only gotten terrible once Brady returned - in the few weeks between Brady’s first eviction and his return, Sebastian was really kind to everyone. Jackson admits that Connor is right, feeling that Brady is not only annoying, but a bad influence on those around him. With that, the two men both settle on targeting Brady.

Connor lets Miranda know that Brady is the target for the week. They then both discuss how to go about sending him home. They agree almost immediately that a backdoor plan would be a very bad idea, since a backdoor has never succeeded since the Veto Player twist ended. The two allies disagree, however, on who should go up alongside Brady. Miranda is adamant that Danielle should be nominated, since she has a showmance with Brady - it just seems like the most logical choice. Connor, however, tells Miranda that Danielle has a disagreement with Brady and Sebastian, so it might be smarter to put Sebastian up to take advantage of the intra-alliance conflict. Miranda feels that Danielle will make up with the two men very soon anyways and feels it would be “weird” to not nominate her. Deep down, though, Miranda wants to see Danielle go home as revenge for how she sent Peter home. In the DR, Connor states that he does see the value in both sides and that he isn’t so sure of what his plan is.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Connor explains how the ceremony will work. He will turn his first key, and the first nominee’s face will appear on the wall. He will then turn his second key, revealing his second nominee. With that, Connor turns the first key, revealing Brady’s face. Unfazed, Brady calmly sits in the nomination chair. Connor then turns the second key, revealing Sebastian’s face. Sebastian is a bit shocked that he is on the block instead of Danielle, but assumes that Brady is the target anyways. He also sits calmly in his chair, not wanting to get a rise out of the other alliance. Connor explains that the two are both strong players who are clearly on the opposite side of the House. With that, the nomination ceremony is adjourned.

Episode 28 (POV)[]

Brady, Danielle, and Sebastian commiserate in the Have-Not room, unsurprised yet still upset that two of them are on the block. Almost immediately, Brady and Sebastian urge Danielle to do her best to win the Power of Veto so she can take a member of the group off, forcing Connor to nominate somebody outside of the group. Danielle doesn't respond, partially because she is shocked that she managed to escape the block, and partially because she wonders if Brady and/or Sebastian even deserve to be saved by her after making alliances behind her back. Sebastian theorizes that Jackson had a hand in it and that the nominations were mostly personal. In the DR, though, Danielle guesses that her talk with Connor actually worked in convincing him to keep her off the block.

As discreetly as possible, Danielle enters the HOH room and asks Connor about his thought process to confirm her suspicions. He states that, clearly, Brady and Sebastian seem to be inseparable, even more so than Brady and Danielle. Danielle drops her head, agreeing that Brady seems to be ditching her to “bro down” with Sebastian. She thanks Connor for being so kind and for helping her out before talking to Connor briefly about their personal lives, bonding through the conversation. When she hears footsteps nearby, Danielle quickly and quietly leaves the HOH room to avoid suspicion from her allies and Connor's allies. In the DR, Connor states that he wishes he had the chance to talk with Danielle earlier, but the deep House divide prevented that from happening. He’s glad that he’s getting the chance to get to know her better as the game comes to a close.

On a less positive note, Miranda and Jackson discuss the nominations and their glee that Sebastian and especially Brady are on the block. Jackson states that Brady’s presence in the game has brought nothing but negativity and division among the House and that, as soon as he is booted, everyone will get along much better and generally be more pleasant. Jackson admits that he has let Brady affect his decision-making, referencing the constant fights during the first few weeks of jury. He goes on to say that Brady was the primary reason for his dislike for Miranda, simply because he associated the two together. Miranda forgives Jackson for his actions against her early in the game, and tells him that she’s very glad to have him as an ally now.

Rhonda notices all of the scurrying and scrambling going on around her and smiles to herself. In the DR, she explains that her strategy now that Marcus is gone is to fly under the radar as the two big groups in the House take each other out. She feels that she has a very good chance of making it to the end, where she could easily win the jury’s favor out of bitterness. Plus, she has her bonds with Danielle and Miranda to rely on just in case the going gets rough.

At the Veto Player Pick, Danielle, Jackson, and Miranda are randomly selected to join Connor, the HOH, and Brady and Sebastian, the nominees, in competing in the tenth Power of Veto competition of the season. Most of the competitors try their absolute hardest - either to keep the nominations the same or to pull somebody off the block. In the end, though, Sebastian manages to power through and win the competition, forcing Connor to figure out a replacement nominee.

Brady and Sebastian celebrate with Danielle the fact that one of them was able to win and throw a wrench in Connor’s plans, although Danielle is clearly less pleased than the two men are. They all come to the conclusion that it’s very likely that Connor will just nominate Danielle in Sebastian’s place. After a while, Sebastian decides to head into the backyard to relax after his win, leaving Brady and Danielle alone in the Have-Not Room. They decide to discuss the fact that they will probably be separated again by the end of the week, but that they’ve really enjoyed the four extra weeks they’ve gotten to spend together thanks to the Battle Back. Throughout the conversation, Danielle looks somewhat guilty, which prompts Brady to ask her what's wrong.

At that moment, Danielle, feeling guilty, decides to be honest. She admits that she sort of threw Brady and Sebastian under the bus by telling Connor about the two men voting against Rhonda and how they must be very close, which is probably why she was initially spared from the block. Brady hugs Danielle tightly, telling her that it’s okay. Danielle admits that she felt hurt that he and Sebastian didn’t seem to care about her best interests and that, in a moment of weakness, she spilled her feelings to Connor. Consoling her, Brady tells her that it’s not her fault that he’s on the block; it was inevitable that he would go up. Danielle does agree, but still claims she feels like a traitor and a bitch for her actions. Brady does his best to comfort her, apologizing profusely for getting carried away with Sebastian’s plan involving Marcus and promising to stay loyal to her before anyone else for the rest of the game. In the DR, Danielle states that, while she does feel a bit guilty for throwing her allies under the bus because she still feels a personal attachment to them, she definitely played up her emotions and she is proud of herself for the plot; if Sebastian had won POV and wasn't nominated, he would have saved Brady, pretty much guaranteeing Danielle's eviction. She also recognizes that Brady going home, while awful for her emotionally, would make Sebastian fully loyal to her. She smiles somewhat deviously after delivering this DR before stating that, with just a few weeks left, she needs to play harder than ever before to make it to the end.

At the Veto Ceremony, Sebastian does the obvious and uses the Power of Veto to take himself off the block. Forced to name a replacement, Connor stands up, apologizes, and names Danielle the replacement nominee. He assures her that she’s just a pawn and is only on the block due to her association with Brady. Disappointed but not surprised, Danielle takes a seat next to her showmance partner. With that, the Veto Ceremony is adjourned.

Episode 29 Part 1 (Eviction)[]

Brady and Danielle are crushed by the results of the Veto Ceremony. Danielle in particular is upset that she will be separated from Brady again. She remembers just how terrible of a mood she was in when Brady wasn’t in the game and doesn’t want to go back to that level of pain again. Even though she recognizes that Brady betrayed her in the recent past, she still feels a deep emotional attachment to him that begins to win out. Right away, the two resolve to spend as much of the next few days together as possible. Sebastian notices this, and chooses to keep his distance and let his allies be. In the DR, Sebastian confesses his guilt about the whole scenario, since it was his safety that put the two of them in danger.

On the other hand, Miranda can’t help but smile at seeing Danielle on the block. However, she knows she has serious work to do to fully exact her revenge. She assumes that Sebastian will stay true to his alliance with Brady, which is enough votes against Danielle to tie - she just needs one more vote to ensure her eviction. Miranda wonders what the likelihood is of Jackson voting against Danielle; she quickly realizes that there’s no chance. Jackson absolutely despises Brady, far too much to appease Miranda and vote Danielle. In fact, Jackson genuinely likes Danielle as a person - much to Miranda’s annoyance.

Because of this, Miranda has to rely on Rhonda to flip the vote. Hoping that the deal they made a few weeks prior will come in handy, Miranda approaches Rhonda to talk about the vote. Rhonda states that she’s leaning on voting Brady out, who seems like the bigger threat. Of course, Rhonda doesn’t mention her deal with Danielle, which is the real reason why she wants to vote Brady out. Miranda tries to change Rhonda’s mind, stating that Danielle is untrustworthy. At least with Brady, it’s pretty obvious what he’s going to do. Danielle, however, is unpredictable and makes strange moves on a whim far too often. Rhonda does feel that Miranda’s arguments are a bit valid, since Danielle did mess up badly during the Double Eviction by surprisingly nominating Miranda and Peter, but she is still unconvinced. Miranda continues to persuade Rhonda, though, hoping to get the outcome she desires.

Jackson notices Miranda scurrying around the House and talking with Rhonda far too often considering the animosity they supposedly have for each other. He shares his concerns with Connor, asking him if Miranda said anything about campaigning for votes. Confused, Connor shakes his head, stating that Jackson and Miranda have enough votes to tie the vote, which would let Connor break the tie and send Brady home. Jackson, suddenly paranoid, says that he believes Miranda is campaigning for Brady to stay. Jackson looks ready to rage on Miranda, so Connor tries to calm him down. Connor tells Jackson that fighting isn’t worth it and that, even if Miranda voted against Danielle, Rhonda would never flip to save Brady of all people. Jackson calms down a bit, realizing that Connor is right. Still, he sees Miranda’s actions as a major betrayal and vows not to forget it.

With the eviction fast approaching, Brady and Danielle officially say their goodbyes. Danielle thanks Brady for being a close ally and expresses hope that their relationship can continue outside of the House. Brady reminds Danielle that she is a strong woman and that, assuming she is the one that survives the eviction, she can make it all the way to the end. In the DR, Danielle says that she is pretty certain Brady will be the one going home, hoping that, although she will be sad to see Brady go, his absence will let her play a bit more freely and have more trust in Sebastian.

At the eviction, Brady and Danielle hold hands the entire time, with Sebastian looking at them both in despair. By a vote of 2-2, there is a tie between Brady and Danielle. Connor, as the HOH, stands up to cast the tiebreaking vote. He announces that he is disappointed in the betrayal that the tie vote clearly shows before stating that his vote is for Brady to leave the House. Not surprised to have been evicted, Brady hugs Danielle and Sebastian tightly, wishing the both of them the best of luck. He shoots angry looks at Connor and especially Jackson before leaving the House for the second time, this time as the fifth member of the jury.

Episode 29 Part 2 (HOH)[]

After Brady’s eviction, Danielle, Jackson, Miranda, Rhonda, and Sebastian compete in the eleventh Head of Household competition. With high tensions between both sides of the House, everyone tries their absolute hardest to win the competition. In the end, though, Sebastian manages to win his second competition in a row and becomes the new Head of Household. For finishing in the bottom two, Miranda and Rhonda become the Have-Nots for the week.

Episode 30 (Eviction #1)[]

Danielle gets a bit emotional after Sebastian's win, struggling to deal with her mix of emotions. She hugs Sebastian tighter than she ever has before, elated that he has managed to beat out Jackson and Miranda for power. Sebastian simply states that, in a game like Big Brother, no one is ever on top or on the bottom. Danielle states that she can’t wait to see Jackson or Miranda finally go home - a statement that makes Sebastian a bit uneasy. In the DR, Sebastian confesses that he wants Jackson and Miranda to stick around as goats due to their confrontational and/or grating personalities. He’d much rather see Connor go home, who is nice, a major physical threat, and is getting closer to his only ally Danielle - a dangerous combination.

Jackson is absolutely dejected, since he and Sebastian don’t exactly have a friendly history in the game. Miranda does her best to make Jackson feel a bit more at ease, though; she points out that Sebastian would be foolish to waste an HOH reign on getting rid of either of them, especially this late in the game - it would be much smarter of him to get rid of a real threat, like Connor. Jackson isn’t sure if he should feel comforted or offended by this, but just assumes that Miranda’s poor social skills are again coming out to play. He simply thanks her for the comfort and hopes for the best.

Danielle discusses the game with Rhonda, specifically the second vote against her. Rhonda tells Danielle the truth that she voted for Brady. Danielle knows that Sebastian voted for her because he told her in advance, which means that either Jackson or Miranda was the second vote for Danielle. Upon hearing this, Danielle says “that bitch”, knowing that it was Miranda who voted against her. Rhonda confirms this, letting Danielle know about Miranda’s attempts to flip the vote to send her home. Danielle is enraged, ready to rip Miranda’s throat out. Why was she targeting her for no good reason?

Connor feels similarly betrayed by Miranda’s strange vote, and decides to confront her about it. Miranda owns up to it, stating that she can’t trust Danielle at all and wanted to see her go. When Connor asks her why, she calls him an idiot. Obviously, Danielle is traitorous and erratic and needed to be disposed of. She then accuses him of making the wrong decision with his tiebreaking vote. Connor is in absolute disbelief, wondering if Miranda is actually that terrible at basic social interaction or if she has strange ulterior motives. Connor simply pushes Miranda out of the room and slams the door in her face, not in the mood for stupidity. In the DR, he curses his circumstances and being forced to align with Miranda, who might be the most entitled, annoying, obnoxious person on Earth.

After Miranda is exiled from the bedroom Connor was in, Danielle walks in. Immediately, she thanks him from the bottom of her heart for saving her the previous round even if his decision was obvious. Connor shrugs, telling her that he never for a minute considered voting her out and was shocked that the vote even tied, outright stating that Miranda tried her hardest to flip the vote onto her. Danielle rolls her eyes, telling Connor that she was already well aware and that Miranda is a pest in the game who will hopefully leave soon. Eventually, Danielle decides to propose a deal to Connor in which they secretly work together to get to the end. Enthusiastic about the idea, Connor immediately agrees and the two shake on their new deal. In the DR, Danielle states that her deal with Connor is crucial with only six houseguests left, and could very well help her to make it all the way to the end. Unfortunately for the two new allies, Miranda had her ear pressed to the door and heard every single word of their conversation. She decides to run off immediately to Rhonda to fill her in on what just occurred.

Sebastian doesn’t discuss nominations much, since he’s resolved to nominate Connor and Jackson, his enemies in the game from the beginning. However, he is sure not to let Danielle know that Connor is the target because of how close she is getting with him. Instead, he wants to fake being blindsided when Connor goes home over Jackson (or Miranda, if the POV is used) - he gets what he wants without (openly) betraying Danielle.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Sebastian explains how the ceremony will work. He will turn the first key, revealing the first nominee’s face. He will then turn the second key, revealing the second nominee. With that, Sebastian turns the first key; Jackson’s face appears on the wall. Rolling his eyes in annoyance, Jackson takes a seat in one of the nomination chairs. Sebastian then turns his second key, revealing Connor’s face. Disappointed to be nominated instead of Miranda, Connor takes a seat next to his ally and friend since Week 1, hoping that the Veto can change the course of the week.

As soon as the nomination ceremony is adjourned, Matt appears on the living room TV. The houseguests are surprised to see him, but settle down and let him give his spiel. Matt announces that, in theater, things often go awry; however, the show must go on. Therefore, the following twist is called The Show Must Go On. Matt explains that the Power of Veto set completely fell apart thanks to vandals. However, the show must go on, so the eviction will carry forward without a Power of Veto competition. Also, that eviction will occur at that very moment.

The houseguests are all completely shocked, but Sebastian is more than a little happy that Connor and Jackson have no chance to save themselves. Caught off guard, Danielle confusedly walks into the DR and casts her vote as Connor and Jackson hold hands, awaiting the result. After what feels like an eternity for everyone, the votes are tallied. By a vote of 2-1… Connor is evicted from the Big Brother House. Sebastian smirks while Danielle’s jaw drops to the floor; she is so shocked, in fact, that she doesn’t move at first as Connor gets up to head out. Connor hugs everyone goodbye, thanks everybody for the great game, and leaves the House as the sixth member of the jury.

Episode 31 (HOH, Nominations, & POV)[]

After Connor’s sudden and surprising eviction, Danielle, Jackson, Miranda, & Rhonda compete in the twelfth Head of Household competition of the season. With only a few houseguests left, the effort level is even greater than the previous HOH competition. In the end, both sides are left unsure of their safety, as Rhonda manages to win the competition and becomes the new HOH. Since she was originally a Have-Not, Rhonda must choose another houseguest to become a Have-Not; she chooses Jackson.

Rhonda throws herself a little celebration party. She is sad that Kandy, Marcus, and Tommy are all gone and don’t get to celebrate with her, but she also lets that motivate her to be victorious in the end. However, Rhonda has no idea what she wants to do with her HOH. She has bonds with Miranda and Danielle, who are on opposing sides of the game and who hate each other. In the DR, Rhonda says that her spot in the middle is very ideal and she doesn’t want to risk losing that position by playing her HOH wrong.

She decides to talk with Danielle and Miranda individually to figure out who she should target. Danielle, obviously, wants her to target Jackson and Miranda. She argues that the two of them have both been underdogs since the jury phase began, while her alliance has mostly been in a power position and probably won’t get a lot of jury support. Rhonda is thoroughly unconvinced by this argument, since both Jackson and Miranda would only have a chance in a jury vote if both of them were in the finals - the other three people in the game are all far more respected as players. Still, Rhonda thanks Danielle and promises her that she’s not the target. Before Danielle leaves the room, however, she asks Rhonda why she voted for Connor to go home instead of Jackson. A flashback plays to Miranda telling Rhonda that Connor has a deal with Danielle, making him the more dangerous player and resulting in Rhonda voting him out. Rhonda lies, saying that she believed Connor would fare better in a jury vote because he got in less fights. Danielle seems to accept this, but still expresses that she's disappointed to see Connor go. In the DR, Rhonda states that she needs to do whatever she can to appease both Danielle and Miranda, which might include betraying one to win favor from the other; either way, if she can drag both of them to the final three, she believes she could win the whole thing.

Miranda gives her pitch to Rhonda as well. She points out that she and Jackson are hated by the jury and would be easily beaten in the end. Danielle and Sebastian, on the other hand, are socially and strategically savvy and could very well destroy Rhonda in the finals. Plus, Sebastian in particular is very skilled in competitions and should be taken out while Rhonda has a chance. Rhonda confesses in the DR that she finds Miranda’s arguments far more convincing and that she is strongly leaning on targeting Sebastian especially, who has won many competitions and, despite his fighting at times, is overall respected by the jury. Still, she worries that keeping Miranda and Jackson together could be dangerous down the line since both of them aren't weak in competitions either.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Rhonda explains how the ceremony will work. She will turn her first key, revealing the first nominee. Then, she will turn her second key, revealing the other nominee. With that, Rhonda turns the first key, revealing Jackson’s face on the wall. Miranda looks crushed as Jackson takes a seat in the nomination chair. Rhonda then turns her key, revealing Sebastian’s face. Some of the houseguests are a bit shocked at the combination of nominees, but Sebastian seems to accept his fate. Rhonda explains that she nominated Jackson and Sebastian because neither side fully convinced her to target the other side, so she nominated who she saw as the bigger threat from each alliance. With that, the nomination ceremony is adjourned.

Danielle comforts Sebastian in the Shakespeare Room, reminding him that the two of them have managed to survive much worse circumstances. Plus, this round, there’s the Power of Veto to shake things up. Sebastian, though, feels like his time in the game is up and that Miranda and Jackson are going to reign supreme. Danielle promises him that nothing that awful could ever happen and that the good people will win out in the end in a transparent attempt at puffing up his ego. Sebastian tells Danielle that he is going to throw the competition. Confused, Danielle asks why; he says that he wants her to win it so that she can keep both of them safe and force Miranda on the block. Danielle calls herself an idiot for not even thinking of that, and promises to win the Veto for them both. Although she is still very wary of Sebastian for his Marcus stunt, he's pretty much all she has at this point besides Rhonda and her game and her emotional well-being would suffer if he were to leave.

Jackson, meanwhile, is feeling really down after Connor’s eviction. Miranda does her best to make him feel better, telling him that he only has a bit more in the game until the end and that he can power through and win it all. Jackson feels really down regardless, realizing he is the only remaining member of his Final Five alliance from the pre-jury phase. He reflects on all the friends he’s lost along the way and, with enough encouragement from Miranda, promises to win for all of them. He also begs Miranda to win the Veto so that both of them can remain safe from eviction.

There is no Veto Player Pick, since only five houseguests remain; therefore, Danielle and Miranda automatically join Rhonda, the HOH, and Jackson and Sebastian, the nominees, in competing in the eleventh Power of Veto competition of the season. Despite strong efforts from Danielle and Miranda to save their respective allies, Rhonda beats out everyone and earns herself complete power for the week.

At the Veto Ceremony, Rhonda decides to keep her original nominees the same - mostly to keep both of her deals intact. This leaves Jackson and Sebastian as the final nominees for the week, with both enemies vowing to get the other evicted. With that, the Veto Ceremony is adjourned.

Episode 32 Part 1 (Eviction #2)[]

Almost immediately, the campaigning starts. Of course, both sides don’t bother campaigning to the other side. Instead, all four of the other houseguests present their cases to Rhonda so that she breaks the tie in their side’s favor. Danielle uses her deal with Rhonda to convince her to get rid of Jackson instead. She argues that keeping Jackson around will backfire in her face, as he and Miranda will immediately turn on the two of them at the earliest possible opportunity. Danielle, however, would never turn on Rhonda - in fact, she wants to go to the end with her. Rhonda likes Danielle’s argument, but still feels that keeping Jackson in the game over Sebastian is smarter because Sebastian has played a stronger game so far.

Miranda also tries to get into Rhonda’s ear. She also brings up the deal the two women have together, and argues that Sebastian is dead set on going to the end with Danielle and will probably target Rhonda once Jackson’s gone. Letting Sebastian get any further in the game, especially with Danielle still in, is a terrible idea according to Miranda. Again, Miranda’s arguments do a better job of convincing Rhonda, who already wanted Sebastian out for the exact reasons that Miranda is offering. Still, Rhonda promises herself to keep an open mind and hear out any other arguments that come her way.

Jackson is next, telling Rhonda outright that he has a very small chance of winning due to his confrontational personality. He feels that he would be a perfect goat to go to the end with, since his constant fights with Brady and Sebastian have likely pissed off the jury. Plus, Sebastian is one of the greatest competition forces left in the game; it would be foolish to let him get anywhere close to the endgame. Jackson promises that his only target moving forward is Danielle, and that he will do his best to protect Rhonda should he stay. Rhonda thanks Jackson for his grand promises, and states that she’s leaning on keeping him in the game.

Sebastian’s campaign is last. He tells Rhonda that he feels he may very well be the target for the week due to his competition wins and seemingly strong gameplay throughout the course of the game. However, he states that he has gotten into a lot of fights and may be seen as riding in Brady and Danielle’s coattails. Plus, a lot of his strategic plans have failed horribly, such as a failed ploy to keep Marcus in the game. Sebastian promises that he is only after Jackson and Miranda, and is considering taking Rhonda to the end over Danielle. He states that Danielle is a threat in his eyes - he is worried she could beat him in a jury vote. This piece of information intrigues Rhonda, who likes the idea of having a strong player in the game who wants to take her to the end. Plus, Rhonda is closer to Danielle than with Miranda and is worried that Danielle will feel betrayed if Sebastian goes home. Suddenly, Rhonda is having second thoughts about who to send home.

Jackson and Miranda hang out together in the Have-Not Room just in case they are separated. Jackson thanks Miranda so much for being such a loyal ally over the past few weeks, even if they didn’t get along at all at the start of the game. Miranda thanks Jackson in turn for being so open to working with her, admitting that she would love to be friends with him outside of the House. The two share a warm embrace before getting dressed for the eviction show.

Danielle, on the other hand, isn’t so positive. She feels ready to break down, feeling like she only just lost Brady again and that she’s now losing Sebastian too. She’s afraid she won’t be able to make it through the last week without anyone to lean on, and she prays that Rhonda keeps Sebastian in the game - even if it makes no strategic sense to do so. Hope is all that Danielle can rely on at this point. She shares the final few moments before the eviction ceremony with Sebastian, thanking him profusely for being such a good friend over the past ten weeks (even though she knows he hasn't). In the DR, Sebastian confesses that he is starting to get emotional at the thought of being separated from Danielle, even if his eviction means he can be reunited with Brady.

At the eviction, no one really seems to care about the result of the vote. Neither nominee is surprised that the vote is tied 1-1, instead worrying about Rhonda’s tiebreaking vote. Rhonda stands up, tells everyone how difficult the decision was for her to make, and announces that she is voting to evict Sebastian from the House. Sebastian takes a big step to avoid Jackson and Miranda, instead hugging Rhonda and especially Danielle very tightly. As he leaves, he encourages Danielle to win the game for him and promises her that she will get the half-million in a week's time. With that, he leaves the House as the seventh member of the jury.

Episode 32 Part 2 (HOH)[]

After Sebastian’s eviction, Danielle, Miranda, and Jackson compete in the thirteenth Head of Household competition of the season. Realizing the odds are heavily stacked against her, Danielle gives the competition her 110% effort. Unfortunately for her, though, it’s not enough; Miranda ends up winning her third HOH competition of the season.

Episode 33 (Nominations)[]

Jackson and Miranda are through the roof after Miranda’s HOH victory, with Miranda in particular elated she finally has the chance to send Danielle’s traitorous ass home. In the DR, Jackson marvels at how far he’s come in the game and, with Miranda’s clutch competition win, his chances of getting further have only increased. Miranda lays out her plan for the rest of the game - send Danielle packing ASAP, then deal with Rhonda when the time comes. Ideally, she will make it to the end with Jackson - the only person she stands a strong chance beating in the finals. Miranda worries that Brady and Sebastian will sway the jury to vote for Danielle, while Rhonda’s likability would get her votes - even if Miranda personally doesn’t like her very much. Jackson shares similar sentiments - he hopes to make it to the end with Miranda, since he’s positive that his confrontations in the past will prevent him from getting respect from the jury, even if three of the jurors are his friends. Still, he feels he isn’t as disliked as Miranda is.

Danielle is crushed to see Sebastian go home and Miranda win HOH in the span of fifteen minutes. She feels that the game has been going terribly for her ever since she accidentally sent Peter home, blaming a lot of the resulting consequences on Miranda’s vengeful personality. Worst of all, a Veto win won’t change things - the biggest threat to her game, Miranda, is in the final three no matter what. Even if she accomplishes the impossible and evicts Jackson, she still feels she has little chance of making it to the end. Overcome with pessimism, Danielle begins to tear up. This is the first time in the game that she is truly alone… or so she thinks, until Rhonda walks into the room and sees her. Rhonda sits beside Danielle and asks her what’s wrong. Danielle responds simply with “everything” before talking about how alone she feels without Brady and Sebastian, as well as how she believes there’s no chance she can win the game. Rhonda tells her that she’s not alone - she is there to support her no matter what. Danielle is surprised to hear this, but thanks Rhonda for the concern. She gives her a huge hug, which Rhonda admits makes her feel a bit better. Even before the Nomination Ceremony happens, Danielle refers to Rhonda as her “block buddy”, knowing that Miranda will stay loyal to Jackson. This makes Rhonda smile, and the two sleep in the same room for the night.

In the DR, Jackson comments on the emptiness of the House. There are so few people left in the game that, if you include the HOH bedroom, there is one bedroom for each houseguest left in the game. Of course, that makes everything a lot more boring than it was when sixteen houseguests were in the game, but there are definitely benefits - for example, there are so few houseguests left that Matt announced that there would be no more Have-Nots for the rest of the season, deeming it “pointless” to have any with just one week left in the game. Jackson is amazed that he’s managed to make it to the final week in the game, motivated by the fact that there are less than seven days left until the grand finale and (hopefully) his $500,000 check is cashed.

Miranda mostly avoids Danielle in the day leading up to the Nomination Ceremony, but she does decide to talk with Rhonda to let her know about her plans. Miranda explains to her first and foremost that she is in no way her target, still valuing the alliance they originally formed to get rid of Jasmine. However, she does state that she feels compelled to nominate her alongside Danielle. Miranda explains simply that she feels Jackson would care far, far more about being nominated, while she sees Rhonda as more “chill” and able to take being on the block. Rhonda thanks Miranda for both the honesty and the compliments, promising that she isn’t at all angry with her and that she totally understands. Miranda is thankful that Rhonda is so understanding, thanking her for being such a good ally. She even admits that she feels the two of them got off on the wrong foot and that she’s started to really value the time they spend together. This catches Rhonda off guard a bit, but she actually agrees - she tells Miranda that she’s only been getting more and more pleasant as the game has gone on. In the DR, Miranda expresses regret for initially disliking Rhonda, glad that their unlikely alliance has finally put them on good terms. Rhonda shares similar feelings in the DR, but also states that she isn’t sure if the friendship will last outside of the game - she and Miranda have vastly different interests and values (Rhonda is an ardent supporter of Black Lives Matter and gay rights, while Miranda is a staunch conservative who disagrees with BLM and is hesitant on gay rights issues). Despite this, they both have mutual respect for each other.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Miranda explains for the final time how the ceremony will work. She will turn her first key, which will reveal the first nominee’s face on the wall. Then, she will turn her second key, revealing her second nominee. With that, Miranda turns her first key; to nobody’s surprise, Danielle’s face appears on the screen. Danielle rolls her eyes and quickly takes a seat in one of the nomination chairs. Next, Miranda turns her second key, revealing Rhonda’s face - again, not surprising anyone. Rhonda has no reaction, simply taking a seat next to Danielle. Miranda explains that she has nominated Danielle and Rhonda for eviction. She doesn’t hold back, calling Danielle a snake in the grass and expressing her gratitude that she finally has the chance to send her packing. Danielle shoots Miranda a look of absolute disgust, looking like she’s ready to fight her. With that, the final nomination ceremony is adjourned.

Episode 34 (POV & Eviction #1)[]

Danielle stands up right after the Nomination Ceremony and begins to storm out of the room when Miranda asks where she thinks she's going before beginning to insult her. Miranda calls her “Brady’s wh*re” and demands her to sit her ass back down in her nomination chair where she belongs once Danielle starts to get in Miranda's face. Danielle looks at Miranda with shock before stating that she hopes her husband isn’t watching her interactions with Jackson. Jackson, irritated to have been dragged into the mess, states that, first, he has no romantic relationship with Miranda - who is married - and, second, Miranda has actual self-respect unlike her. Danielle scoffs at Jackson’s comment, calling him the most pathetic man to ever walk the Earth. Jackson feigns confusion, asking Danielle if she’s actually referring to the sad, sad men that she called “allies”. Danielle raises her voice, asking Miranda why she couldn’t just nominate her without getting personal and essentially asking for a fight. Miranda simply shrugs, saying that Danielle isn’t entitled to explanations. Danielle rolls her eyes, calls Miranda the dumbest person alive, and storms out of the room. Jackson and Miranda also retreat dramatically to the HOH bedroom, leaving Rhonda alone in the living room, still sitting in her nomination chair, dumbfounded at the fight that just occurred.

Danielle sits silently in the Shakespeare Room, unsure of how she’s going to get through the rest of the week in a House full of crazies. She’s also somewhat upset that Rhonda didn’t step in to her defense during the conflict, even if that’s not her usual personality. Danielle curses herself for being so immature and fighting with Jackson and Miranda; she should have just been the bigger person and ignored Miranda’s deliberately inflammatory remarks. Instead, she took the bait and made herself look like an idiot in front of the entire House and America. She feels even more than before that she won’t be able to win the game, but reminds herself that it isn’t over until the fat lady sings.

Jackson and Miranda talk smack about Danielle in the HOH room. Jackson states that Danielle’s remarks have ensured, if it wasn’t already clear, that he can and will never vote for her to win the game. Miranda would agree, but she already knew from Peter’s eviction that she could never in her conscience consider giving Danielle any sum of money. Jackson admits that he’s upset that Danielle randomly attacked him even though he had nothing to do with the argument initially, which Miranda agrees with. She agrees that she may have been trying to get Danielle to break, but Danielle simply went way too far with her insults. Jackson suspects that Danielle might just be emotionally drained from the game, though, admitting that she seemed really pleasant throughout the first half of the game - only turning for the worse after the Double Eviction. Miranda snickers to herself, glad that the last few weeks of her aggressive, personal gameplay has broken Danielle. She hopes that Danielle’s emotional state only gets worse - making her easier to beat.

Rhonda is much more sympathetic towards Danielle, and decides to comfort her again in the Shakespeare Room. Danielle apologizes to her for being such an emotional trainwreck as of late, but confesses that Miranda’s personal attacks and slights against her have slowly taken their toll on her mental state. It all started to go downhill when she accidentally got Peter evicted - Miranda seemed to take it very personally and has gone very over the top with exacting “revenge”. Rhonda rolls her eyes, calling Miranda pathetic and sad. Even though Miranda has been nicer to her, Rhonda realizes that she hasn’t gotten any more pleasant - the nastiness has simply shifted to a new target: Danielle. Rhonda does her best to galvanize Danielle, telling her that she can easily win the Veto and rub it in Jackson’s and Miranda’s faces. Danielle admits that she isn’t so sure if she can beat both of them; Rhonda tells her that she will also try her best and that, if she wins, she will send Jackson home instead of her. Danielle is very thankful to Rhonda for this promise, and does feel a bit more uplifted thanks to Rhonda. She vows to outlast the competition for another week and to leave Miranda all alone in the game.

Since only four houseguests remain, Jackson automatically joins Miranda, the HOH, and Danielle and Rhonda, the nominees, in competing for the twelfth and final Power of Veto of the season. All four competitors are fully dialed in, competing either to eliminate Danielle or to save her from Miranda’s wrath. In this puzzle-based competition, everyone wracks their mind to remember all of the season’s important events in order to recreate a History of BB4 pamphlet. After a while, Jackson buzzes in, but is incorrect. Seizing her opportunity, Rhonda throws together her last few pieces and buzzes in right after - this time, though, she is correct. Rhonda wins the final Power of Veto of the season, leaving Miranda and Jackson worried.

Rhonda is told that she must go back inside immediately to make her decision. Obviously, she chooses to use the Power of Veto on herself, forcing Miranda to name a replacement nominee. Since Jackson is the only eligible houseguest who can be nominated, Miranda is forced to nominate her ally alongside her archenemy Danielle. With that, the Veto Ceremony is adjourned.

As the final nominees, Danielle and Jackson are both given a short window of time to deliver a speech on why they should stay over the other nominee. Danielle is curt in her reply, simply begging Rhonda to make the correct decision. Jackson is much more thorough, pointing out the numerous reasons to take Danielle out - she has many friends on the jury, has been a key strategic player, and has demonstrated through her actions over the past week that she simply shouldn’t win Big Brother. Rhonda thanks both of the nominees for their arguments before delivering the following speech:

“Thank you guys. I’ve been mostly removed from the drama that’s occurred this week, but from what I’ve heard, there is fault on both sides. Therefore, I’m not factoring that into my decision. Jackson, everything else that you said is true. Danielle does have friends on the jury, and very influential friends at that. She has also played very well strategically; no one’s denying that. However, this is exactly why I don’t want to get rid of her. See, Jackson, I feel like if I keep you in the game, you and Miranda will take each other to the end. And, honestly, I don’t want to be a pawn for your little game here. That’s why I’m voting to evict you, Jackson, from the House. Nothing personal.”

Miranda stares at Rhonda in disbelief, feeling betrayed by her vote. Jackson, though, felt it coming, and is surprisingly respectful. He hugs Rhonda, Miranda, and even Danielle goodbye, thanking the three women for the once-in-a-lifetime experience. He then calmly leaves the House as the eighth member of the jury.

Episode 35 Part 1 (Final HOH & Eviction #2)[]

After Jackson’s eviction, the remaining three houseguests - Danielle, Miranda, and Rhonda - head into the backyard to compete in the first part of the Final HOH competition: the endurance-based portion. The three women give the competition their all, with all of them - especially Danielle and Miranda - feeling that they will be evicted if they don’t win the final HOH competition. Rhonda loses after an hour or so, but Danielle and Miranda don’t give in so easily. In fact, Rhonda wakes up in the morning to the two ladies still battling it out. Eventually, though, Miranda slips and falls, making Danielle the winner of the first part of the competition and automatically advancing her to the third part of the competition. In the DR, Miranda vows to beat Rhonda in Part 2 and, eventually, Danielle in Part 3 so she can finally send Danielle home.

After losing the first part of the competition, Miranda and Rhonda both regroup and encourage each other to win. Rhonda admits to Miranda that she wants to get rid of Danielle if she wins the Final HOH, seeing her as the bigger strategic threat and fearing her friends on the jury. Miranda agrees, but mentions that there are personal reasons behind her desire to send Danielle packing. The two promise that whichever one of them reigns supreme in Part 2 will beat Danielle in Part 3.

Later that day, Miranda and Rhonda compete in the second part of the Final HOH competition, which is puzzle-based. Many of the questions are very difficult, so both Miranda and Rhonda struggle and get the solution incorrect multiple times. Danielle watches on nervously, hoping and praying that Miranda loses the competition. In the DR, Danielle states that she feels there’s at least some chance that Rhonda takes her to the end, while Miranda would never ever do such a thing in any universe. After a long while, Rhonda finally gets the solution right and secures her victory in Part 2 and her spot against Danielle in Part 3. Miranda, therefore, is ineligible to become the Final HOH and must hope that one of the other two women takes her to the end.

Big Brother throws a last blast party for the final three houseguests on Day 84, the eve of the finale and the same day as Part 2 of the competition. The three women left in the game all dress up in their nicest clothes and enjoy the best dinner they’ve had during the entire game. During the meal, they are treated to a compilation of the most iconic moments of the season - from numerous nights with too much to drink to memorable blindsides to unforgettable fights, mostly involving Brady, Sebastian, and Jackson. In the DR, Danielle admits that she’s starting to get sentimental about all of her triumphs and defeats throughout the season, feeling deeply motivated to finish strong.

After a lot of anticipation, the final part of the final HOH competition is played live. Danielle and Rhonda are read a series of incomplete statements from jurors and must complete the statements correctly. Whoever gets the most correct out of 8 will become the Final Head of Household of the season. Both Danielle and Rhonda are right on the money, getting all eight questions correct. Miranda is impressed with their knowledge, since she played the game in her head and got several of the questions wrong. Due to the tie, a tiebreaker ensues. Danielle ends up winning the tiebreaker, making her the Final Head of Household of the season.

Miranda and Rhonda both offer last-minute campaigns to Danielle before she stands in front of the two women. Matt asks her to cast her vote to evict either Miranda or Rhonda from the House. Danielle pauses, sighs, and delivers the following speech:

“I don’t even know what to say. It’s been a whirlwind 11 weeks in this House. Miranda. You have been targeting me for primarily personal reasons for the past few weeks of this game, and, frankly, have been making my life a living hell. I don’t have very much respect for you, in all honesty. One thing I do know, though, is that I could easily beat you in a jury vote. Rhonda, I can’t say the same about you. You’re smart, strategic, and respected - three things that Miranda simply isn’t. That’s why I have to vote to evict you, my friend, dear Rhonda, from the House. I’m so, so sorry.”

Rhonda is accepting of Danielle’s reasoning and runs into her arms, hugging her very tightly. Danielle thanks Rhonda for everything, telling her that she truly deserved to win and that she’s so, so sorry for voting her out. Rhonda tells her not to apologize, hugs her once more, and gives Miranda a quick hug before heading out of the House as the ninth and final member of the jury.

Episode 35 Part 2 (Jury Vote)[]

Miranda refuses to talk to Danielle after her eviction speech, instead getting prepared individually for her arguments to the jury. Danielle does the same, obviously not wanting to speak with Miranda at all. The tension between the two is very present, even on the eighty-fifth and final day of the game. After a few more moments, Matt returns and asks each finalist to give her opening statement.

Danielle talks first, arguing that the jury should vote for her because she was never in a secure, powerful position for very long in the game, yet she managed to make it all the way to the end. She immediately rebuts the idea that she rode Brady and Sebastian’s coattails, arguing that she was often the brains of the operation and acted civilly to those she wasn’t aligned with in order to keep her and her allies safe. In addition, she formed deals on the side with people like Connor and Rhonda to keep herself protected when her main alliance got into trouble. She also states that Miranda lied her ass off and was mostly dragged to the end of the game, doing little on her own merits to make the end.

Miranda goes next, clearly annoyed with Danielle’s attacks against her and her game. She states that she made moves when everyone else was afraid to - such as going after Jasmine in Week 7 - and strategically shifted allegiances throughout the game to best benefit her game. She does admit to lying often, but states that she was very good at convincing others of those lies and never lied maliciously. Miranda elaborates on her end-game gameplay, openly admitting to systematically eliminating any ally or friend Danielle had to weaken her main competition when nobody else in the House wanted Danielle gone. She then attacks Danielle, calling her a confrontational, annoying, over-emotional coattail-rider. Danielle rolls her eyes at the comments, eager for Miranda to stop talking. Eventually, Miranda concludes her statements and the jurors begin to say their pieces.

There are many supporters of Danielle on the jury. The most notable are (obviously) Brady and Sebastian, who insist that Danielle is a good person who played an honorable yet cutthroat game in order to make it to the finals. They also argue that Danielle is an underdog, as she and her allies rarely held power for more than a few weeks at a time, while Miranda was literally never in danger after the third week. Miranda is not without her supporters, though. Peter and Jackson are the most notable supporters as Miranda’s closest allies throughout the game, with Jackson also taking aim at Danielle’s claim that she acted civilly during her stay in the House. Jackson reminds everyone about Danielle’s immature fight with himself and Miranda after being nominated during the final four. Danielle defends herself, however, stating that she only got in the altercation after Miranda made relentless verbal attacks against her for weeks and weeks. During Jackson's entire speech, Justin can be seen rolling his eyes and shaking his head in disapproval.

The other five jurors are more conflicted. Some have ties with both, like Connor, Rhonda, and Marcus, while others, like Justin and Jasmine, dislike both. All five of them state that the jury questioning will mostly affect their votes, with Jasmine in particular laying into both finalists. She calls Danielle pitiful and Miranda craven, specifically calling Miranda’s claim that she made big moves as “laughable”. Eventually, the jurors finish their statements and cast their votes. The votes are tallied in order of eviction:

Rhonda has voted for… Danielle!

Jackson has voted for… Miranda! Each finalist has one vote.

Sebastian has voted for… Danielle!

Peter has voted for… Miranda! Two votes each.

Brady has voted for… Danielle!

Marcus has voted for… Danielle! Danielle has four votes. One more, and she is the winner of Big Brother 4! Miranda has two votes.

Connor has voted for… Danielle!

Jasmine has voted for… Danielle!

Justin has voted for Danielle! That means…

Congratulations, Danielle, you are the winner of Big Brother 4 and the $500,000 cash prize!

Danielle shoots Miranda a look before rushing outside of the House to thunderous applause. She immediately hugs Brady and Sebastian, beginning to cry out of a combination of joy and shock. She thanks all of the jurors who voted for her for doing so, even those who criticized her. Miranda, the runner-up, gives Peter a tight hug, letting him know just how much she missed him. Once everybody settles down and the excitement fades a little bit, Matt begins to reveal the results of the fan-favorite poll...
