Twists

Head of Household: Each week, 1 person wins HOH and nominates 2 people for eviction. If the POV holder uses it on the nominees, they have to pick a replacement nominee. At evictions, If it's a tie then the HOH casts the sole vote.

Golden Power Of Veto: Power of Veto, or POV, is a competition that is held each week after nominations are held. This competition gives one housemate the chance to change the nominees. The HOH will replace any nominee taken off the block.

House

The House was equipped with 52 cameras and 80 microphones to record the participants. The House theme was eco-friendly. Inside the house, as housemates entered, they were greeted by a huge wall containing recycled life-sized doors. Behind one of the doors was the Diary Room. Inside the Diary Room was a metallic based chair, layered in slim red padding. Outside of the Diary Room, there was a sweeping staircase leading down to The living room featured chipboard walls with fake plants along the side. There was also a shipping container-based bathroom, an open kitchen that paid respects to the Pacific Rim and a portable garden where the HouseGuests would collect compost and grow their own herb garden was added to the backyard. The bedroom includes seven narrowly shaped double beds as well a walk-in wardrobe for housemates to store their belongings. The Head of Household bedroom featured a penthouse design with a waterfall and a faux ocean front view. The second room initially used by the HouseGuests was later turned into the Have-Not room, which was a simplistic gray bedroom with metal slabs used as beds. Workout equipment can also be found outside in the backyard, and is available for use at any time. There are also multiple lawn chairs that the HouseGuests may use to lay out in the sun, along with a swimming pool and a hot tub. The washing machine and dryer are also outside for the HouseGuests to use. There is also a large couch under a roof by the sliding glass door that the HouseGuests may use in case of rain.
