Twists[]

Head of Household: Each week, houseguests will compete for the title of Head of Household at an HOH competition. 1 person wins HOH and nominates 2 other houseguests for eviction. If the holder f the Power of Veto uses it on the nominees, they have to select a replacement nominee. At evictions, in the event of a, the HOH casts the tiebreaker vote to evict.

Golden Power Of Veto: The Golden Power of Veto, or POV, is a competition that is held each week after the nomination ceremony is held. This competition gives one houseguest the chance to change the nominees. The HOH will replace any nominee taken off the block.

Double Eviction: On a certain week, a full cycle of Big Brother will be played out over the course of one night, resulting in two people being evicted from the Big Brother house on the same night.

Pocket Nomination: The Pocket Nomination gives the houseguest who uses it the right to place a third houseguest on the block for eviction. The two initial nominees, as well as the Pocket Nominee, the HOH, and two houseguests selected by random draw will compete in the POV competition. If an initial nominee is vetoed, a replacement will be selected by the Head of Household. However, if the Pocket Nominee is vetoed, then they will be completely removed from the block, with no replacement for the Pocket Nominee, leaving only the initial two nominees. The Pocket Nomination can be used during any week up until when there are seven houseguests remaining. If used, the Pocket Nomination power will be recycled back into the game and eligible for another houseguest to claim.

Sixteen Big Brother hopefuls eagerly awaited to enter the Big Brother House, ready to spend their summer competing fot the half-million dollar prize. Hostess Julie Chen welcome the aspiring hosueguests and warned them to expect the unexpected this summer, dividing the new contestants into groups for their entry into the house. The first group of houseguests to enter was made up of Andy, Carolyn, Marco, and Vanetta. The houseguests happily introduced themselves whilst Julie announced the second group, consisting of Bettina, Jay, Johnny, and Sharmane. Vanetta immediately noted Jay as someone who looked like they could win competitions, and told the audience in the Diary Room that people like him had better stay out of her way. Soon after, the third group of Andrew, Claire, Juanisa, and Milo entered the house, with Milo immediately noting Andrew's nerdy appearance as something to pay heed to later on. Finally, the final group, consisting of Dylan, Nevaeh, Pearl, and Walt entered the house, and the entire cast celebrated their success on making it into the house for the summer. The new houseguests went around the room telling each other of their occupations and livelihoods, with Sharmane notably lying about her Pre-Law studenthood, saying she was strictly a lifeguard, as to not warrant attention. Amidst the conversation, Julie interrupted the new housemates to instruct them to head outside to compete in their first Head of Household competition of the summer.

The houseguests then competed for the title of Head of Household in their first HOH competition, titled "Deposition Derby", where the houseguests were tasked with making laps around a pseudo-roller derby track, scooping up handfuls of Big Brother Coins whilst racing around the track. The houseguests would then have to balance themselves as they skate across back to their starting position, where one of three cash boxes awaited them, labeled "HOH", "Have-Not Pass", and "Secret Power", respectively. The first person to fill up one of these boxes with Big Brother Coins would win the prize designated by the cash box. After a long and grueling race, Vanetta was crowned the first Head of Household of the summer, whilst Andy handily won the Have-Not pass, guaranteeing him Have privileges for the rest of the summer. Claire decided to opt for the Secret Power, and was then sent to the Diary Room after the HOH competition was concluded. Claire was informed that her secret power was that of the season's new twist, the Pocket Nomination, and that she would be allowed to use this power if she wished during any nomination ceremony, where she herself could nominate a special third nominee.

Claire, containing her excitement, decided to go and begin a conversation with current HOH Vanetta, as to deter her from potentially going after herself now that the house knew she had a secret advantage in the game. Claire decided to tall Vanetta about her power, bonding them greatly, and the two immediately clicked, creating an alliance between the two of them. Despite Vanetta eagerly wanting to go after big competition threats such as Andy and Jay, Claire convinced Vanetta to go after weaker players who had collected the least amount of money, to try and not to make waves, as well as use the cover of "being fair". Meanwhile, several relationships began building in the house in the forms of pairs, including a brotherly relationship between Jay and Dylan, an apparent friendship between Johnny and Marco, and even a women's group consisting of many of the other females in the house, notably Pearl, Nevaeh, and Juanisa. In addition, survivalist Milo cited his occupational training in the Diary Room, saying that "being a survivalist, one's got to know how to stay alive in any situation, and maximizing your chances at seeing another day". Using his mantra, Milo approached Andrew, whom he had noticed early that day, and asked about Andrew's knowledge of the game. Although Andrew was skeptical and initially worried about being targeted for being a superfan of the show, Andrew heard Milo out, and Milo suggested that the two of them work together. Andrew accepted Milo's invitation, stating in the Diary Room that it was "my intention to find someone athletically able to do the things that I'm not really able to do, and Milo fits the bill", and that Milo seemed authentic. The two agreed to stick together, but Andrew suggested to Milo that they keep their alliance a secret as not to be targeted immediately.

Whilst Vanetta contemplated her other options, Vanetta decided to follow Claire's advice, and nominated the two people who struggled the most during the HOH competition, nomination Bettina and Juanisa for eviction. Claire decided not to use the Pocket Nomination, leaving two nominees for the week.

Following the nomination ceremony, Juanisa became quite hysterical and sassy towards Vanetta, saying in the Diary Room that she would be gunning for Vanetta if Juanisa were to survive and become in power. Bettina decided it would be best to lay low and let Juanisa hang herself with her outspoken candor. Vanetta and Claire came to the consensus that Juanisa would need to be evicted if she did not win the Power of Veto. Claire suggested that they bring in some more numbers that they could trust in order to assume a majority and secure Juanisa's ousting, which Vanetta eventually agreed to. The duo decided on bringing in Jay, as he seemed to be a loyal number who could help them win competitions, despite Vanetta's reluctance. Claire and Vanetta approached Jay, who agreed to an alliance, both because of his interest of remaining safe and also his apparent interest in Vanetta. Jay additionally brought in Dylan, whom he had grown close to in the house, as a fourth member, and collectively, the group decided to bring in houseguests of various talents to keep themselves covered. Claire approached Andrew and Milo, separately, and pitched the idea of working together. Milo jumped at the chance in order to make new allies for himself, whilst Andrew agreed to align with Claire, citing that superfans needed to stick together, and that he would do what the house wants to do. The new group of six dubbed themselves "The Wrecking Crew" after Vanetta's proclamation that this group would "wreck the opposition". The new alliance also seemed to manage to garner the allegiances of the budding showmance of Andy and Sharmane, as well as the friendship of Marco and Johnny, for the upcoming eviction.

Soon after, players were chosen to compete in the first Power of Veto competition of the summer. Vanetta drew Andrew, Bettina drew Andy, and Juanisa drew houseguest's choice, and selected Nevaeh to compete. The Power of Veto competition, "Saturday Night Weaver", required houseguests to pull along a rope across a giant sequined shirt in a similar fashion to sewing or weaving, on a much larger scale. The shirt would be mounted on a large wall, where the competitors would have to traverse both vertically and horizontally, strapped into a safety harness. The first person to successfully navigate their rope through the shirt and hit the finish button on the ground would win the Golden Power of Veto. Whilst Bettina, Nevaeh, and especially Juanisa struggled, and Andrew intentionally, yet stealthily, tried to throw the competition as to paint a weaker version of himself, the race was tight towards the end between Andy and Vanetta. In the end, Andy edged out Vanetta to win the Power of Veto.

Andy's win angered Vanetta, as she cited in the Diary Room that this is what she was afraid of; "strong guys edging me out in these competitions." Juanisa and her friend Nevaeh tried to convince Andy to use the veto on Juanisa, which the somewhat weak-minded hunk considered to do. However, upon reconvening with his budding showmance partner Sharmane, the Pre-Law student swayed Andy back in the direction of sticking with their original allegiances. At the Power of Veto ceremony later that week, Andy decided not to use the POV, leaving Bettina and Juanisa as the final nominees for the week.

Andy's decision only further annoyed Juanisa, who refused to lay down and die in the game, attempting to blow up the spots of Vanetta, Andy, Sharmane, and even Claire, which further distanced her, as well as her friends, Nevaeh and Pearl, from The Wrecking Crew's side of the house. Additional animosity began brewing between Pearl and Vanetta, due to Pearl's interest in Jay. Amidst all of the week's bickering, Pearl and Nevaeh continued to try and convince the others in the house to keep Juanisa, only seeming to garner the vote of Walt, whom had grown disdain for Bettina's off-beat personality. Later that week, Juanisa became the first houseguest evicted by a vote of 10 to 3, receiving only the votes of Nevaeh, Pearl, and Walt.

Following Juanisa's eviction, the houseguests competed in the second Head of Household competition of the summer. The competition was called "BB Bogey" and it required each houseguest to step up and take a large golf club and take their large golf ball and hit it into one of the potential number slots. If they hit it into the water, their score will be a zero. Many people initally struggled in this competition such as Bettina, Johnny, Sharmane, and Walt. Milo scored the highest score, 29, for the longest period of time until Jay, the last houseguest to go scored the highest score of 32. Jay became the second HOH of the summer, keeping the Wrecking Crew in power for another week.

After Jay's win, he consulted many people in his alliance individually. Vanetta was worried about Pearl's obsession over Jay and her jealousy towards Vanetta. Jay understood where Vanetta was coming from, however, he didn't want to nominate Pearl because he didn't want to ruin their friendship. This angered Vanetta and she decided to vent her frustration to Claire. Talk about the Pocket Nomination arose, because Vanetta wondered if Claire would use it on Pearl. Claire tried to explain to Vanetta that wasting the Pocket Nomination on Pearl was silly and not a smart move.

Jay consulted the men of the Wrecking Crew and they listed possible and dangerous duos: (Marco & Johnny), (Andy & Sharmane), and (Carolyn & Walt). Although not afraid of Carolyn and Walt, the guys knew that they had promised safety to Marco, Johnny, Andy, and Sharmane last week. This really put a limitation on Jay's potential nominees. The guys, plus Vanetta and Claire, agreed together that nominating Carolyn and Walt would be the safer move and if the veto is used they can potentially backdoor a bigger threat like Marco or Andy.

At the nomination ceremony, Jay went the safer route and nominated Carolyn and Walt for eviction. Claire did not use her Pocket Nomination power, leaving two houseguests to be nominated for the week. Carolyn was worried about what plans and deals were being made in the house, so she decided to have a conversation with Jay in the HOH bedroom. Jay told Carolyn that she shouldn't be worried because she is not the target and most likely there will be a backdoor plan put into effect. Carolyn decided to trust what Jay was telling her but she still had doubt in the back of her mind.

When picking players for the veto competition, Jay drew Bettina, Carolyn drew Dylan, and Walt drew Milo. Milo was ecstatic to be playing in the veto comp, however, he knew he needed to throw it because he didn't want to be labeled as a threat to the other houseguests, plus he trusted Jay and the Wrecking Crew alliance. The houseguests then competed in the "Witches Brew"  Power of Veto competition. In this competition the houseguests would look at a series of funny potions on a television monitor. Then a question would be asked about the colored potions in the sequence. The houseguests must individually choose one of their potions to dump into their witch cauldron. If they chose the correct potion, they will stay in the game. If they chose the wrong potion, their cauldron will explode and they will be eliminated.

In the first round, everybody chose the correct potion and advanced. During the second round, many people struggled. At the reveal, Bettina and Walt were eliminated and were engulfed in the paints of the cauldron exploding on them. Milo knew he needed to lose this competition, but he didn't want to make it obvious. During the third round, nobody was eliminated. During the fourth round, Milo chose to throw it but Jay also chose the incorrect potion and was eliminated as well. The competition eventually came down to Carolyn and Dylan. The fifth round proved to be difficult, as both Carolyn and Dylan struggled, however, it was Carolyn who was correct and victorious with her first veto win.

With Carolyn's win, the Wrecking Crew needed a replacement. They tried to figure out if they should go after big targets like Andy and Marco or if they shouldn't rock the boat and put up a weak player, like Bettina or Nevaeh. Vanetta found this POV win to be a perfect reason for Jay to nominate Pearl. Jay told Vanetta continuously that he didn't want to put her up as it would be an end of their trust and a wasted HOH. After Jay had this talk with Vanetta, he realized he needed to go after big threats and not waste his HOH.

Vanetta decided to confront Pearl in the kitchen. They both got into a heated argument of words. Vanetta called her a "jealous b*tch" who only was playing the game to be with a man. Pearl tried to fire back but mostly used personal attacks. Eventually the argument just turned into yelling personal insults to each other. After the incident Vanetta vented to her ally and friend, Claire, who tried to pep talk her into not being so aggressive and personal. Pearl chose to go to the diary room and cry for a little bit. After the argument it was apparent these two would not get along during the summer. The argument almost had Jay consider to name Pearl as the replacement, but Milo and Andrew talked him out of it and told him they should stay in longer because they will always be going after each other.

At the veto ceremony, Carolyn used the veto on herself as expected and Jay bravely chose to nominate Andy as the replacement due to his past performances in competitions. This left Andy and Sharmane blindsided and Andy decided to confront the situation head on. He tried to have a conversation with the Wrecking Crew in the HOH room about the safety they promised last week. The Wrecking Crew tried hard to avoid the situation. Andy, knowing he was most likely the target, decided to rally the votes he needed to stay. Andy had Sharmane's vote and he tried to get Marco and Johnny. Andy's goal was to expose the Wrecking Crew Alliance as liars and that they were working together. Despite his attempt to stay, Andy was evicted from the game by a vote of 9-3.

Following Andy's eviction, the houseguests competed in the "Looking Puzzled" HOH Competition, where the houseguests were required to try and solve and 25-piece magnetic puzzle in the shape of giant eye. Houseguests would have to cross a balance beam after being spun about on a turnstyle, carrying puzzle pieces over to the puzzle station. If a houseguest falls off of their balance beam, their puzzle would fall and they would have to set it up all over again. In addition, all houseguests must manage to look back at the starting line, where a large, round eye statue is set up, and must wink at their statue in order to reset a timer. If the time should reach 0, the puzzle will fall. If the counter reaches -10, then the houseguest will be automatically eliminated from the competition.

It was The Wrecking Crew's powerful competition forces who led the way throughout most of the competition, with a tight race being run between Vanetta, Milo, and Dylan. However, several members of the other side of the house were determined to reshape the game, particularly an extremely determined and annoyed Pearl. Pearl's old ballet training helped her gain ground on and pass Dylan and Milo, leaving an incredibly tight race between rivals Vanetta and Pearl. In the end, Pearl managed to overcome the odds and win Head of Household, much to the chagrin of Vanetta.

Immediately following the HOH competition, Vanetta reconvenes with the rest of The Wrecking Crew, visibly upset. Vanetta tells the alliance that this is what she was afraid of and that now she is screwed because they didn't take out Pearl last week when they had the chance. Jay goes on to defend Pearl and tells Vanetta that he will make sure that Pearl doesn't target anyone in the Wrecking Crew, with Dylan taking Jay's side, and Claire subtly taking Vanetta's side, and Andrew and Milo watching on, not saying much. Claire lobbies for the group to target another one of the threatening pairs in the house, particularly Marco and Johnny, as Claire felt that they were playing both sides of the house. Andrew then relays his thoughts in the Diary Room about he is observing a rift growing within Wrecking Crew, with one side being led by Vanetta and Claire, with their ties having grown with Sharmane and Bettina, and the other side being led by Jay and Dylan, with their growing relationships with Pearl, Marco, and Johnny. Andrew cites his and Milo's position in the game, the saying that he and Milo are "caught in the middle of this raging typhoon", and that himself and Milo need to navigate carefully moving forward.

Later that night, Pearl decides to hold a meeting with her closer allies in the house, namely with Jay, Dylan and Nevaeh, and eventually with Andrew and Milo as well. Pearl proclaims that she wants to target Vanetta for eviction this week, as most of the group expects. Jay does his best to try and redirect Pearl away from the Wrecking Crew, claiming that he can make sure that Vanetta does not target her. Pearl questions Jay, asking him if he is with Pearl or against her, and Jay says that he just wants her not to waste her HOH. Nevaeh and secretly Dylan seem on board with the idea of getting Vanetta out, although Jay still seems very reluctant after some time. Pearl then considers nominating a pawn to ensure Vanetta's eviction; she tries to decide between Claire and Bettina. Jay and Dylan lobby for Bettina to be the pawn if Pearl decides to target Vanetta against their advisement, which stirs up some suspicion with Pearl. After Jay and Dylan decide to leave, Milo gives Pearl some quiet approval of her decision, in order to try and build some trust with Pearl and Nevaeh. Nevaeh seems to enjoy Andrew and Milo's company, feeling that they were more trustworthy than some of the other people in the house, and also, that she might feel some mild attraction to Andrew as well.

In the end, Pearl decides to stick with her plan and nominates Vanetta as the target, and Claire, as a pawn. Vanetta looks visibly indignant as she takes her seat, but Claire announces that she would like to use her power, saying that "I'm not going up here alone". Claire then explains her power, and decides to use her Pocket Nomination on Marco, making Marco the first Pocket Nominee of the summer. Marco smiles suavely and takes a seat, along with Vanetta and Claire, as Johnny and many of the other houseguests looked on in surprise and shock.

Following the nomination ceremony, Pearl voiced her aggravation in the Diary Room, saying that "I wanted to like Claire, but now she's messing with my HOH!", and that she would do her best to make sure that Vanetta still goes home this week. Vanetta congratulates Claire on her bold move, and says that they need to win veto so that they can push the vote away and save the both of them. Claire and Vanetta consult Andrew, Milo, Bettina, and Sharmane about the possibility of flipping the vote, and although none of them say no, all four are hesitant to jump in and defy Pearl before the veto ceremony.

Players were soon picked to compete in the POV competition. Jay and Sharmane were selected by random draw to compete, alongside HOH Pearl and nominees Claire, Vanetta, and Marco. The Power of Veto competition, titled "Gizzard Wizard", had the houseguests taking aim with slingshot launchers at various goose-shaped targets, with different assigned point values. The houseguest with the highest score at the end of three rounds would win the Power of Veto. Claire struggled, and only earned 7 points total. Sharmane, Jay, and Marco earned 12, 15, and 16 points respectively, earning 5th, 4th, and 3rd place. However, Vanetta could not be caught despite Pearl's 19-point effort, as Vanetta won the competition with 23 points, earning herself the Power of Veto.

The following day was filled with a tirade of banter between a cocky Vanetta and a scorned Pearl the latter of whom now had to decide on a replacement nominee. Pearl considered pushing for Claire to leave, and nominating a pawn such as Walt to ensure her demise, but Andrew and Milo advised against it, wanting to keep as many opposing people as possible as to further mask their undercover game, and instead pushed for Johnny, Marco's closest ally. Milo especially wished to see Marco be evicted, as he at least felt that he could get along with Johnny, and that Marco's flirtatiousness with the women in the house was detrimental to himself and Andrew's game. Carolyn, who had been integrating with the other women in the house, advised Pearl of a similar path, claiming she wanted to see a strong woman win this game, but truly wanting to help weaken Jay and Dylan's position in the house in order to better herself and her closest ally, Walt.

At the Power of Veto ceremony, Pearl decided to go along with Andrew, Milo, and Carolyn's wishes, and nominate Johnny as the replacement when Vanetta removed herself from the block, leaving Claire, Johnny, and Pocket Nominee Marco as the finalized nominees for the week.

Vanetta and Claire reconvened with Andrew and Milo, who informed them that they were doing their best to save Claire and evict Marco, much to Vanetta and Claire's excitement. On eviction night, the plan to save Claire came through, with Marco becoming the third person evicted from the Big Brother house, with only Dylan, Jay, and Nevaeh voting the way Pearl desired. Johnny tearfully hugged Marco as he left the house, and Vanetta taunted Pearl with a smug grin at the upheaval.

Following Marco's eviction the houseguests competed for HOH yet again. In this competition, "BB Post Office", the houseguests had to move across a balance beam and retrieve 8 cardboard boxes. Once they retrieved all 8 boxes they must cross the balance beam and hit a button. The first person to retrieve all 8 boxes and hit their button wins HOH. If a houseguest falls off the beam or drops a box they are eliminated. Julie also explained that since the Pocket Nominee was used last week, it was available to win this week. The second person to hit their button with all 8 boxes would become the Pocket Nominee Holder.

This challenge was very simple for many of the houseguests but it was Johnny, Vanetta, and Milo who had the obvious lead. After a slow and careful return to his station, Johnny practically gave Vanetta the opportunity to win. Vanetta used Johnny's mess up to take the lead and win her second Head of Household of the summer. Johnny came in second and became the new Pocket Nominee Holder.

After her win, Vanetta wanted to speak to Johnny about his newfound power within the game. Johnny told Vanetta that Marco was his ride or die and now that he's gone, he's a free agent. That night Vanetta, Johnny, and Claire had a chat in the bathroom. They were very quiet and secretive muttering many whispers. Vanetta felt that Jay trusted Pearl more than he trusted them but she didn't want to nominate him. Claire also pointed out that Dylan, Jay, and Nevaeh were the 3 votes casted towards her during the eviction.

Vanetta tried to give Jay one last chance to prove his loyalty to her by having a conversation about nominations in the HOH bedroom. Jay told Vanetta she needed to do what ws best for her game and if that meant nominating Pearl, he was okay with that. After getting some confirmation from Jay, Vanetta wanted to shake the game up some more. Vanetta and Claire felt that the Wrecking Crew was dead mainly with Jay and Dylan becoming closer to Pearl and Nevaeh. They both, however, trusted Milo and Andrew still. Vanetta and Claire gathered Johnny, Sharmane, and Bettina into a bedroom and formed a new unnamed alliance that would go after mainly Pearl and Jay.

With this new majority alliance put into place, Vanetta went ahead and nominated Pearl and Nevaeh for eviction. Johnny did not use his Pocket Nomination, leaving two nominees for the week. Vanetta made it obvious in her nomination speech that she was going after Pearl and she wanted her gone. She claimed Nevaeh was only guilty by association. Pearl, was very angry and wanted to fight with Vanetta but she was pulled away into another room with Jay and Dylan. As soon as Jay, Dylan, and Pearl went to the other room, Vanetta said to Claire in whisper, "You see who goes and comforts her?" Claire nods her head in agreement. Claire also points out in the diary room that the Wrecking Crew is slowly turning into a disaster.

When picking players for the veto, Vanetta drew Andrew, Nevaeh drew Claire, and Pearl happily drew Jay's name from the box. Shortly after picking players, Jay promised Pearl he would use it on her, however, Vanetta wanted to clarify that he wouldn't use it. Vanetta didn't believe him because she knew that he had just had a conversation with Pearl.

The veto competition called, "Smashing Pumpkins", took place. In this competition each houseguest would individually take their "pumpkin" and shoot it into the field. The field is broken into many different sectors with many different numbers ranging in value. Each round the player with the lowest score will be eliminated and must claim their prize. However, their prize can be exchanged throughout the game. In the first round, Nevaeh scored a 0 and was eliminated first. Nevaeh unhappily opened her prize to reveal the Golden Power of Veto, knowing she most likely won't be holding onto it for too long. In the next round, Claire was eliminated and she claimed her prize, "Pumpkin Pie to the Face" in which for the next 24 hours anytime you hear a certain signal you must head to the backyard and receive a pie in the face. Claire chose to take the veto and give Nevaeh the pie punishment. Andrew was eliminated in the next round and he revealed his prize to be $5,000. Since he didn't really feel like needing the veto, he kept the money to himself.

In the next round, Pearl was eliminated and she revealed her prize to be the Scarecrow-tard in which for a whole week this person must wear the Scarecrow-tard costume. Pearl traded the costume for the veto, giving Claire the costume. In the final battle between Vanetta and Jay, Vanetta scored the lowest and claimed her prize. Her prize was a trip to Illionois, the largest pumpkin producing state in America. Vanetta gave Pearl the trip and took the veto for her own. Jay claimed his winning prize which was 24 Jack'o' Lanterns. With this punishment the houseguest who receives it must make a jack-o-lantern every hour for 24 hours and create 24 jack-o-lanterns in total.

Jay ultimately chose to give the punishment to Vanetta, awarding himself the veto. After the veto competition, Claire was fitted into her unitard made to look like a scarecrow, Vanetta made her first jack-o-lantern, and Nevaeh got her first pie to the face. Pearl tried to convince Jay to use the veto on her. Jay was afraid that Dylan could be the replacement so Pearl suggested that he talk to Vanetta, but he claimed Vanetta would not allow him to use the veto on her. After his conversation with Pearl, Jay decided to talk to Vanetta. The entire conversation was strange because Vanetta was under the assumption that Jay had no intentions on using the veto. Vanetta grew weary of Jay's trust.

At the veto meeting, Jay made his decision and he used the veto on Pearl, shocking Vanetta and many others in the house. When naming a replacement, Vanetta said, "Since it is obvious where certain people stand in this game, I will make no mistake to show where I stand and with that, Dylan please take a seat." Vanetta chose to name Dylan as the replacement nominee as a jab towards Jay. After the veto meeting Jay was frustrated with his decision and very angry with Pearl for convincing him to use it. Pearl claimed "you didn't have to use it." This only angered Jay more.

Jay and Dylan realized they needed votes, so they talked to Milo and Andrew. Milo and Andrew decided together that Nevaeh was a trustworthy number for them as opposed to Dylan. They lied to Jay telling him that they would keep Dylan in the game. On the day of the eviction, their efforts weren't enough and Dylan was evicted 9-1.

Following Dylan's eviction, the houseguests, minus Vanetta, competed in the "Cliff Anger" HOH competition, which featured the houseguests balancing on a small, cliff-side perch whilst dodging the occasional deluge of spheres marked by angry emojis, whilst trying to throw spheres marked with happy emojis into a faraway basket. If a houseguest falls, they will be eliminated from the competition. The houseguest with the most spheres collected after one hour, or the last houseguest standing on their perch, would become the new Head of Household. Some people were giving effort to throw the competition, including Andrew and Carolyn, but many people also gave their best effort, most notably Jay, Pearl, and Vanetta, and even Sharmane, which caused Andrew to become skeptical of her loyalties. Milo continued to try in the competition in order to ensure that Jay did not win Head of Household, and he stayed close on Jay, Pearl, and Vanetta's heels. Vanetta began breaking ahead after Jay fell off his platform, losing his focus, and whilst Pearl slowed down her pace. This allowed Milo to secure an unintentional second place. However, with about minutes left on the clock, Vanetta shockingly lost her own focus and fell off of her platform as Pearl tried to distract her, leaving Milo in an unintentional lead. The competition soon ended before Pearl could catch up to Milo, leaving Milo as the new HOH. The first three houseguests to fall in Bettina, Jay, and Pearl became the Have-Nots for the week.

The house congratulated Milo on his win, and Milo soon found himself meeting with his closest ally Andrew about who to target. Andrew was secretly annoyed that Milo had won the competition and could potentially blow their cover up to the house. However, Andrew still supported Milo and asked him what Milo wanted to do. Milo said that he wanted to go after Vanetta or Pearl to keep the attention on those two rivals in the house, but Andrew began to sway Milo away from that option, telling him that it greatly benefits their games having Vanetta and Pearl go after each other, as it leaves Andrew and Milo out of the spotlight. Milo agrees and discusses nominations with Andrew, and Andrew devises a plan to go after some of the "middle people" in order to keep themselves in power. In response to Andrew's assessment of both their own and other peoples' positions in the house, Milo suggested to officially name their partnership alliance, dubbing themselves "The Middlemen." Andrew's skepticism of Sharmane caused him to convince Milo to nominate Bettina and Sharmane, under the disguise of a plan to backdoor Vanetta, as both Bettina and Sharmane were close with Vanetta in the house. Milo seems receptive to Andrew's pitch, and the pair are soon joined by Johnny, whom had become growing closer to Milo in the house. Milo decided to tell Johnny of Andrew's plan, which Johnny seemed relieved about, as he had assumed he was in danger, and agreed not to use his power. The trio then discussed the possibility of helping Vanetta to win the veto if the opportunity presented itself as to further disguise their plot.

The next day, the houseguests were called to the table for the nomination ceremony. Milo ended up following Andrew's plan, nominating Bettina and Sharmane for eviction, causing the two women to become confused, and causing both Pearl and Vanetta surprise that neither of them had been nominated that week. Johnny chose not to use his Pocket Nomination, leaving two nominees for the week.

Bettina and Sharmane each separately decided to approach Milo and ask him why he had seemingly betrayed their alliance from last week, to which Milo told each of them that he was setting up a backdoor and that neither of them were the target, although he couldn't give them any more information at that time. Both Bettina and Sharmane seemed suspicious, but agreed, and Sharmane in particular began to speculate with others in the house about Milo's game.

Later that week, players were picked to compete in the Power of Veto competition. Milo, as HOH, chose first, and drew Carolyn to compete, whilst Bettina drew Walt, much to her secret annoyance. However, Sharmane drew Houseguest's Choice, and chose her ally and friend Vanetta, saying in the Diary Room that "Vanetta is a fierce competitor, and that if I can't win it, I want to make sure someone in my corner does." The POV competition, titled "Happy Sour", featured houseguests competing in a round robin-style eliminatory system, where the competitors would have to face off in pairs, answering questions based off of a television monitor emblazoned with pictures of various citrus fruits, such as oranges, lemons, and limes. The last houseguest standing would win the Power of Veto. Milo confesses his excitement in the Diary Room about the style of competition, saying that it would be a lot easier to help Vanetta win with a format like this. The first two competitors were selected by random draw, resulting in Bettina vs. Walt. Bettina defeated Walt, and selected Milo and Carolyn. Carolyn opted to stealthily throw the round to Milo, allowing Milo to advance. Milo then selected Bettina and Sharmane, the latter of whom's suspicions continued to grow. Sharmane answered incorrectly, allowing Bettina to advance. Bettina then chose Milo and Vanetta by default to compete. Milo was unhappy that he had to give up his spot to Vanetta in order to further his and Andrew's plans, but still succeeded at throwing the round to an eager Vanetta. The final round consisted of Bettina and Vanetta, which Milo watched on in great interest. In the end, Vanetta edged out Bettina by a few secondss and answered the final question correctly, much to Milo and Andrew's secret elation.

Both Sharmane and especially Bettina were upset with the outcome of the veto competition, and talked to Vanetta to see if she would use it on either of them. Vanetta initally seemed very intent on saving Sharmane in particular, as she felt that Bettina would be seen as less of a threat. However, Andrew, Milo, and Johnny convened with Vanetta, with Milo in particular pushing subtly hard for Vanetta not to use the Power of Veto. Milo's promises to Vanetta seemed to change her tune, and the receptionist had a lot to think over. In the end, Vanetta decided to not use the Power of Veto at the veto ceremony later that week, leaving Bettina and Sharmane on the block, leaving Sharmane scorned and determined to blow up Milo's spot in the game.

Sharmane went around to Carolyn, Claire, Johnny, Walt, and even Andrew, telling each that Milo was out to get her all along and that he convinced Vanetta not to save her. Whilst Walt brushed off Sharmane's ideas, Carolyn, whom had already begun to suspect other dynamics forming in the house, heard out Sharmane's spill of information. Andrew, however, did his best to maintain damage control from Sharmane's campaign, planting seeds to get her evicted, citing that she was desperate and would do anything to stay in the game, and that she obviously could not be trusted, and this is why she was nominated in the first place. In the end, Sharmane's efforts could not save her, as she was voted out unanimously. After her exit from the house, Julie Chen congratulated the houseguests on making it to the Jury stage of the game.

Following Sharmane's eviction the houseguests competed in "Big Brother's Best Hits". This competition is when 2 houseguests will listen to a song made up about a previous challenge they've competed in. The winner from each round will choose the next two people to face off. In the first round it was Pearl and Claire. Claire advanced and Pearl was eliminated. Claire chose Jay and Nevaeh to face off. Jay advanced. Jay chose Claire and Vanetta to face off. Vanetta guessed first but accidentally incorrect. Claire advanced and Vanetta was eliminated. Claire chose Jay and Bettina to compete. In a shocking turn of events, Bettina buzzed in first correctly, eliminating Jay. Bettina chose Carolyn and Walt to face off. Carolyn advanced and Walt was eliminated. Carolyn chose Andrew and Johnny to face off. Andrew advanced and chose Carolyn and Claire to face off. Claire advanced, eliminating Carolyn. Andrew and Bettina were next by default. Andrew advanced and eliminated Bettina resulting in the last two standing being Claire and Andrew. In the final round it was Claire who rang in first correctly and Claire won her first Head of Household of the summer.

After her win, Vanetta and Claire celebrated in the storage room as many iconic BB duos have. After the short celebration, they decided to be serious and have a game talk. They both trusted Johnny and they agreed they were getting concerned about Andrew and Milo because of last weeks events, but they agreed they were the least of their worries. Vanetta obviously wanted Pearl and Jay to be nominated and Claire agreed. Claire decided to have a conversation with Johnny about his Pocket Nominee power and whether he was going to use it or not. Johnny claimed he had no intention to, unless Claire had a marvelous idea to use it. Claire claimed she didn't want it to be used and Johnny promised he wouldn't use it.

After consulting Andrew and Milo, they informed him to use it only if Claire took a jab at them, such as nominating them. Jay tried to talk to Vanetta but she lied to his face and told him, "you chose your side." Jay explained his frustration in the diary room stating, "He screwed up and he shouldn't have used the veto on Pearl."

Claire went ahead with nominating Jay and Pearl for eviction pleasing the house. Jay tried to give an emotional Pearl a pep talk about how they will win veto. Pearl tried to stay positive but she pointed out in the diary room, "I have no one in this game but myself and I need to win this veto for me!" Johnny chose not to use the Pocket Nominee, leaving two nominees for the week.

When picking players for the veto competition Claire picked Vanetta, Jay drew Carolyn, and Pearl drew Milo. The veto was called "Big Brother Casino" and it required players to face off in a large dice and roll it back to the platform so that the chosen number is on top. The first player to get it moves on and the loser is eliminated. The order will be chosen before the competition. The order was: Jay, Claire, Milo, Carolyn, Pearl, and Vanetta.

Jay chose to challenge Vanetta and Jay was able to beat and eliminate Vanetta first. Claire challenged Jay and lost to him, being eliminated second. Milo went next and decided to challenge Pearl. Milo beat Pearl and she was eliminated next. Carolyn challenged Jay and she lost. The challenge was down to Milo and Jay and it was Milo who pulled out the veto victory.

Following the competition, Jay talked to Milo about potentially using the veto on him. Milo claimed he didn't want to rock the boat and he also assured Jay that Pearl was a bigger target, to which Jay did not necessarily believe. Andrew and Milo consulted Vanetta, Claire, and Johnny and they all agreed that the veto being used was unnecessary, but who should be the target. Although Vanetta preferred Pearl to go she would be supportive of Jay's eviction, which shocked some of the people in the room.

At the veto meeting, Milo claimed he didn't want to rock the boat and he left Claire's nominations in tact. Both Jay and Pearl hated to campaign against one another, but they both tried. On the day of the eviction, Julie explained that it was the first double eviction of the summer. By a unanimous 8-0 vote, Jay was evicted and he became the first member of the jury.

Following Jay's eviction, it was time to begin the double eviction. The HOH competition "BB Road Trip" would show a picture of evicted houseguests traveling around the world. After a few seconds, Julie will ask a true or false question about the picture. If they are wrong they are eliminated. The first question everyone answered correctly. The second round Walt, Nevaeh, and Johnny were eliminated. Vanetta, Pearl, and Milo were eliminated next. The last question came down to Carolyn and Andrew. It was Andrew who won Head of Household.

After the win, Andrew consulted Milo and he claimed Walt and Carolyn were the best options and if one of them came down they could backdoor Vanetta. Johnny said he wouldn't use the pocket nominee. Andrew quickly nominated Walt and Carolyn.

After the commercial break, Julie revealed that Vanetta, Claire, and Bettina were chosen to compete. The veto, called Somewhere Over the Veto , required the players to jump over an obstacle and into a ball pit and retrieve 1 cloud at a time. After the have all 3 clouds they must retrieve the veto and hit their button. The first person to do so will win veto. The challenge was easily won by Vanetta.

Vanetta quickly consulted Andrew and Milo and they claimed if she wanted Pearl nominated that was bad because they could get her next week because she was alone but the actual reason was to keep the tension between Vanetta and Pearl. Vanetta decided not to use the veto, much to Pearl's surprise. By a vote of 6-1, Carolyn was the victim of the double eviction only having Bettina's vote.

Following Carolyn's eviction, most of the house seemed pretty downcast about losing her, as she was well-liked in the house, especially Walt, whom had had enough with being left out of the loop. Walt angrily looks on as Bettina rejoins Vanetta and her other friends in the house, thanking them for saving her over his closest ally Carolyn. Walt curmudgeonly rants in the Diary Room, saying that he was "tired of being left out just because these kids are half my age" and that "someone of my success level in life shouldn't have to deal with all of these crazy kids." Whilst Walt continues to fume, Julie announces the next Head of Household competition will be held shortly. Andrew and Milo congratulate themselves on getting their biggest obstacle in the game in Carolyn, and wonder who they should get rid of next. Andrew tells Milo that they will sooner or later have to pick a side, and that Nevaeh and Pearl have yet to suspect anything from them, whilst Claire and Vanetta seem to be catching on. Andrew lets Milo come to conclusion that they should target Vanetta's side of the house this week, to avoid having said the words himself.

The houseguests then proceeded to compete in their next HOH competition, titled "Brain Shoed", where the hosueguests were required to memorize pairs of shoes shown to them whilst being worn by images of past houseguests, dancing on a television screen. Players then would be forced to choose "True" or "False" regarding a question asked by Chen. The first round only managed to eliminate a confused Pearl, whilst the second round visibly seemed to cause frustration amongst some houseguests due to the unexpected intricacy. This proved true as Milo, Bettina, Nevaeh, Andrew, and Claire were all eliminated, leaving Vanetta and Walt as the only two houseguests left. In the end, Walt prevailed and won his first HOH and competition of the summer, causing Vanetta to once again become annoyed with second place.

Following his win, many of the houseguests, especially Bettina, were worried about who Walt might target, as none of them really talked to him much about the game, aside from Carolyn's former allies, Pearl and Nevaeh, and occasionally Andrew. Walt held his HOH meeting like a "king's royal court", as Andrew described it, with Nevaeh, Pearl, Milo, Johnny, and himself in the HOH room. Walt seemed extremely bent on targeting Bettina this week, based on their constant personality clashes throughout the game, even though Walt did not particularly like Claire or Vanetta either. Nevaeh and especially Pearl lobbied for the idea of nominating "those three witches" together, stating that she liked everyone in this room and didn't want any of Bettina, Claire, or Vanetta winning the game at the end. Andrew and Milo advocated this plan, as they wanted to target Claire and Vanetta, in order to neutralize the threat they posed to their games. Walt relished in the thought of "getting three for the price of two" and asked Johnny if he could use his power this week. Although Johnny seemed skeptical of turning his backs on Claire and Vanetta, Johnny stated in the Diary Room that he "knows that it's smarter for me to stay in this new majority, even if it is a bunch of kooky cats. I'd rather be the 'crazy cat lady' than the 'crazy dog hoarder'". Johnny agreed to use his power, and asked the configuration for the nominees. Andrew and Milo suggested the idea of Walt nominating Claire and Vanetta as the regular nominees, and leaving Bettina as the Pocket Nominee for Johnny to nominate. Walt, however, decided that he wanted the honor of nominating his nemesis Bettina, and told the group he planned to nominate Bettina and Claire, asking Johnny to nominate Vanetta, so in case that Vanetta won the Power of Veto, that Claire would be more likely to stay over Bettina, in his mind. The group agreed, and Walt suggesting this newfound group the "Surplus Six", as he described them as the "extras" in the house whilst the actresses wanted to hoard the spotlight, to which Pearl, Nevaeh, and the rest of the group chuckled, save Johnny.

At the nomination ceremony, Walt followed threw with his plan and nominated Bettina and Claire, causing Bettina to nod and indignantly smile. Vanetta seemed confident for once that her friendship with Johnny would keep her safe at least for now, but was shocked and angered when Johnny stood up, and announced he was nominating Vanetta with his power, leaving Bettina, Claire, and a betrayed Vanetta on the block.

The rift and unrest continued to mount as the three nominated girls seemed to isolate themselves more from the Surplus Six. At the veto player selection, Walt drew Pearl, Bettina drew Milo, and Vanetta drew Andrew to compete, leaving Milo to host the competition, and Johnny as the only other person not drawn to compete. The POV competition, titled "It's Snow Problem". featured houseguests begin required to traverse and slippery, soap-laden slope, carrying fake snow in a spoon, and depositing it into a hollow snowman. The first houseguest to fill their snowman to the brim with fake snow would win the Golden Power of Veto. Whilst Andrew feigned constant struggling with falling many times throughout the competition's duration, many houseguests took genuine falls of their own, most notably Bettina and Walt, each creating many wonderful blooper moments for the highlight show as they fell comically. Vanetta, however, absolutely dominated the competition, winning herself her fifth POV competition of the season.

At the Power of Veto ceremony, Vanetta decided to save herself once again, and as the Pocket Nominee, the block was reverted back to two nominees for the week in Bettina and Claire.

Walt was overjoyed with the outcome of the competition, citing that "Bettina already has one foot out the door". Andrew and Milo, however, had other plans, and decided to press their agenda. Andrew let Milo do the vast majority of the campaigning, allowing Milo to take most of the blame for trying to save Bettina and evict Claire, whom Milo described as way too dangerous given her extensive knowledge of the game and superfandom. Pearl and Nevaeh were already willing to take out one of their enemies, especially one with such close ties to their main target, Vanetta. Andrew even told Milo to tell their next closest ally in Johnny about Claire's omission of her brother's celebrity status in Canada as a leveraging measure to swing him over to evict Claire. Johnny was shocked at the revelation, as well as many of the other things Milo told Johnny about what Claire and Vanetta had said about him behind his back.

The vote seemed up in the air until eviction night, as Walt continuously tried to exert his will onto the house. However, Andrew and Milo's scheming ended up securing the fate of their once-ally Claire, sending her out in a 5-1 blindside vote, only receiving the vote of her friend Vanetta to stay in the house. Vanetta wiped her eyes in fury and sadness at seeing her friend be blindsided, and hugged Claire tightly as she left the house, screaming at many of the other houseguests about their betrayal, and vowing her own vengeance as she knew she was out to fend for herself in the game.

Following Claire's eviction, the houseguests competed in an endurance Head of Household called Swatting Flies which required the houseguests to stand on a small circular platform and holding onto a rope. The platforms would then spin in a circle and occasionally hit a large pillow-like thing stylized to look like a fly swatter. Julie also explained that the last 2 houseguests standing would be competing for the Pocket Nominee Power as well. The first person to fall in the final 2 will become the new PN Holder and the last person holding on will be the new Head of Household. Julie also explained that the Pocket Nominee Power would only be eligible this week and next week for usage. Bettina and Nevaeh were the first to fall off. Vanetta was determined to win, because she knew that the entire house had flipped on her with Claire's eviction. Andrew and Pearl were the next victims of the competition.

The last three holding on were Milo, Vanetta, and Johnny. Milo and Johnny knew that they needed to outlast Vanetta for both powers because if she won either power it could be detrimental to their games. Milo offered some deals on the table, and Vanetta quickly rejected. She even told Johnny and Milo during the competition, "I thought I could trust you two but obviously I can't." Milo and Johnny knew Vanetta would not go down without a fight. After two hours of swinging on their platforms, it was noted that Johnny began to struggle. Johnny eventually fell and missed the opportunity to win PN or Head of Household.

Milo again tried to sway some deals towards Vanetta but she would not budge. After a six hour long battle, Vanetta won her third Head of Household and Milo took the Pocket Nominee power. After the competition, Vanetta and Bettina discussed being on the bottom of the house. Vanetta said, "I wouldn't be surprised if the six of them have an alliance." Bettina agreed with fear of being the potential pocket nominee. After her discussion with Bettina, Vanetta and Johnny had a conversation about last weeks turn of events. Vanetta became very emotional because she claimed she trusted Johnny and when he nominated her it just made her feel terrible. Johnny tried to explain it was part of the plan, but Vanetta told him she couldn't trust him anymore especially because he was growing closer with Milo and Andrew.

After speaking to Bettina, the two girls realized that Milo and Andrew were running the game. They tried to convince people such as Walt, Pearl, and Nevaeh that they were dangerous for their games. All of this information, however, eventually relayed itself back to Milo and Andrew. When it came to nominating, Vanetta chose to nominate Johnny and Pearl in hopes that Milo wouldn't use his power. Milo, however, chose to use the Pocket Nomination on Bettina. This left Johnny, Pearl, and Bettina nominated and Vanetta very angry at Milo.

Vanetta, Johnny, Pearl, Bettina, Nevaeh, and Andrew competed in the POV competition. This competition was called OTEV The Scaredy Squirrel. It required houseguests to retrieve "nuts" with former houseguests names on them. Otev would give a description of a past houseguest and they must choose the correct one. The last person to ring in will be eliminated each round. In Round 1, Nevaeh was eliminated. Pearl was eliminated next followed by Andrew. It came down to Bettina, Vanetta, and Johnny. Vanetta wanted to throw this veto to Bettina, however, Bettina struggled and Vanetta's natural competitive side came out, leaving Bettina eliminated. The final round came down to Vanetta and Johnny and it was Johnny who won his first competition of the summer.

Since it was fairly obvious Johnny would use the veto on himself, Vanetta needed a replacement nominee. She wanted to name Milo the replacement but she felt she should consult other people in the game such as Nevaeh, Pearl, and Walt. They all were okay with the decision, but she also asked if they would vote him out and many of them were hesitant due to loyalty established withing the Surplus Six.

Johnny used the veto on himself and Vanetta named Milo the nominee, however, Bettina was still nominated and it was very obvious the Surplus Six was staying together. On the day of the eviction, Bettina was evicted 4-0-0 despite her and Vanetta's efforts.

Following Bettina's eviction, Vanetta knew that is was herself versus the rest of the house, and was determined to do whatever she had to in order to remain in the game. The Head of Household competition, entitled "Chicken Scratch", required houseguests to compete to balance an egg whilst wearing a chicken costume, staying atop a small pedestal, and balancing the egg atop their beak for as long as possible. The last houseguest standing with their egg atop their beak will win the title of Head of Household for the week. The house dynamic seemed very clear - Vanetta vs. everyone else, and Nevaeh, Milo, Andrew, and especially Pearl were determined to not give Vanetta another round of guaranteed safety, despite Vanetta's ineligibility to become Head of Household. Nevaeh becomes the first houseguest to drop after only a few seconds, followed a few minutes later by Andrew and then Milo. The last two standing became Milo and Pearl. After three hours of a painful and incredible display of focus and balance, Milo cannot outlast Pearl, and his egg falls onto the ground. Pearl thus wins her second HOH title of the summer. Julie then announces that the Pocket Nomination power will no longer be in play for the rest of the season, bringing a bit of relief to most of the house, save Vanetta.

Pearl immediately tells the rest of the Surplus Six of her plan to finally oust her rival in Vanetta, that they have the votes to get her out no matter what, and they have to make sure that she does not win yet another POV. Everyone seems on board, although Andrew secretly sees the opportunity, should Vanetta remove herself from the block, to take a shot at Milo's next closest ally, Johnny, in order to keep Milo loyal. Andrew, however, notes that Milo is a huge threat and would easily beat anyone including himself at the end, and retains the thought of making sure that Milo is a target ahead of himself further down the road.

The week passes slowly as Vanetta becomes completely isolated from the rest of the house, knowing full well where she stands and that it was "do or die". Later in the week, Pearl decides to nominate her arch-nemesis Vanetta, alongside Walt, a pawn, as he seemed to be the least threatening person to put on the block against Vanetta, and guarantee her eviction later that week.

At the veto ceremony, Pearl draws Nevaeh, Walt chooses Milo, and Vanetta draws houseguest's choice, and settles on picking Johnny over Andrew, causing Andrew to become even more suspicious that Johnny may secretly be plotting with Vanetta. With everyone in the house aside from Andrew competing, all eyes were on beating Vanetta to oust her once and for all.

The Power of Veto competition, titled "Eggcellent Work", had the six competitors launch eggs towards a far wall, where egg-textured pins were stacked in various patterns, and houseguests would compete to knock them down over the course of one minute. In each round, the person with the lowest amount of pins knocked over would be eliminated from the competition. During the first round, Nevaeh and Walt both struggled, but it was Nevaeh who became the first person eliminated by a one-pin difference. Walt was eliminated in just the next round, however, as Milo, Pearl, Johnny, and a fired-up Vanetta all seemed to be doing well. During the third round, Johnny and Milo finished quickly, leaving Vanetta and Pearl to face off once again. Vanetta edged out her rival and eliminated Pearl, leaving herself against the two athletic men. At this point, Pearl, Nevaeh, and Walt began to cheer for Johnny and Milo, whilst Vanetta cited in the Diary Room that it was "no surprise" and that "it only adds more fuel to the fire, baby". Johnny then becomes the first person to advance to the final round, impressing the onlookers, whilst Vanetta and Milo battled it out. Vanetta managed to knock yet another Surplus Six member out, and Milo took his seat, leaving Johnny and Vanetta in the final round. After a long, heated, and visibly exciting race, Vanetta defies all of those who would be her eliminators, and wins her record-setting fifth Power of Veto of the summer, causing Pearl to yell and scream in frustration in the Diary Room.

With tensions at an all-time high in the house, Andrew decides it is time to put his back-up plan in motion, and talks to Nevaeh, whom he had began to grow much closer to in the house. Nevaeh, whom herself had felt she had fallen for Andrew a bit earlier in the season, continued to spend more and more time with him, which, in turn, gave Andrew more and more exposure to Nevaeh's closest ally in the house, Pearl. Andrew planted the seed of turning the house against Johnny, citing Vanetta's selection of him for the Veto, and that Johnny may be playing all of them. Nevaeh relayed the information to Pearl, who began to distrust Johnny. At the veto ceremony, Vanetta smugly took herself off of the block, and Pearl made no secret that Vanetta had been her prior target, saying that she did not want to have to nominate anyone else because she liked everyone here. Pearl then decides to nominate Johnny for eviction, telling him that there was literally no other option and that she didn't want either him or Walt to leave.

With Andrew's plan in motion, he began to do his best to stealthily swing the vote's Johnny's way. Nevaeh agreed to the plan, Milo was very reluctant to turn against his ally in Johnny. Andrew told Milo that it was easy to observe how close Vanetta and Johnny were compared to Vanetta and Walt, and that they spent too much time together to take the risk of Johnny switching allegiances yet again.

At the eviction ceremony, Julie announced to the final seven houseguests that there would be a second double eviction tonight, and that not one, but two more people would be joining the jury house by the time the night was over. Although this announcement seemed to shake many of the remaining housemates, Milo stuck to Andrew's plan and evicted his friend Johnny by a 3-1 vote, with Johnny only receiving Vanetta's vote to stay.

Following Johnny's eviction, the remaining five eligible houseguests competed in the "Before or After" HOH competition, where each houseguest would have to choose an answer based on two events Julie listed to them, with the options being "before" or "after". The last houseguest remaining will become the new Head of Household. Everyone answered the first question correctly, whilst the second question claimed Walt and Milo. The third and final question left Andrew, and Nevaeh choosing "before", whilst Vanetta chose "after" as the response. Vanetta was correct, leaving her as HOH, and guaranteeing her yet another week of safety, and dooming another member of the Surplus Six.

Vanetta was forced to immediately choose her nominees, and selected Nevaeh and Pearl to go up on the chopping block in order to break up the duo and get Pearl out of the house. All six houseguests competed in the "Going Ball-istic" POV competition, where the houseguests had to traverse a small obstacle course to search through a plastic ball pit for three golden plastic balls with a veto insignia on them. The first person to retrieve and place all three veto-crested plastic balls would win the Golden Power of Veto. Despite a noble effort from both Vanetta and Pearl, Milo ended up winning the competition, and decided to leave the nominations the same just a few moments later, bring Pearl to the edge of her seat.

Andrew and Milo decided to talk to Walt, and collectively, the group decided that Pearl was more dangerous and that Nevaeh was a more level-headed ally to keep in the house. In the end, Pearl was unanimously voted out, making her the sixth member of the jury. Pearl gave Nevaeh a huge hug, and also gave hugs to Andrew, Milo, and even Walt. On her way out, Vanetta taunted Pearl, saying that she shouldn't have gotten into a fight she couldn't win, causing Pearl to angrily pick up a vase and splash the water within it all over Vanetta on her way out the house, saying that "now you have to deal with that without someone here to do your laundry anymore". Pearl left the house to a mixed reaction of loud cheers and boos, and the final five houseguests congratulated themselves on reaching this point in the game.

Following Pearl's dramatic exit from the game, Walt, Nevaeh, Andrew, and Milo competed in the "Guessing 4 Days" HOH competition, which required them to choose a certain day a certain event happened. Andrew and Milo were back and forth the entire game and it was Andrew who prevailed in the tiebreaker.

It was evident Milo, Andrew, and Nevaeh were a strong three, but Vanetta still tried her possibilities. Andrew nominated Vanetta and Walt for eviction. At the veto competition, Vanetta knew it was do or die for her game. It was Milo, however, that won the veto. Vanetta, however, did not roll over and die.

At the veto meeting, Milo did not use the veto, not surprising Vanetta. On the day of the eviction, Vanetta was evicted 2-0 and the strongest player of the season had come to an end.

Following Vanetta's eviction, the final four, visibly elated to have ousted their biggest obstacle of the summer, competed in the "Head Spinning" Head of Household competition. The three eligible competitors, Milo, Walt, and Nevaeh, were required to assemble a spiral-shape puzzle after being spun around on a spinning table and traversing a balance beam. The first houseguest to complete their puzzle would become the new Head of Household. Walt visibly struggled throughout the competition, whilst Milo and Nevaeh led the way. In the end, however, Nevaeh prevailed by a few seconds over Milo, winning her first HOH and competition of the summer.

Following her eviction, Nevaeh consulted her closest ally and would-be showmance Andrew and told him that she wanted to stick to their final three deal with Milo, but knew she had to nominate either Milo or Andrew anyway. Andrew said that it was her decision and that both himself and Milo had her back. Nevaeh decided to keep Andrew off of the block, nominating Milo and Walt for eviction.

On the next day, the final four competed in their final Power of Veto competition of the summer, titled "Faces Not Forgotten", which had Andrew, Milo, Nevaeh, and Walt race to solve a puzzle involving trivia about their fellow houseguests who had been evicted over the past weeks of the game. After a hard-fought battle, Milo emerged victorious and won the Power of Veto.

At the dual final four POV and eviction ceremony, Milo opted to use the Power of Veto to remove himself from the block, leaving Andrew as the only possible nominee, and giving him his first nomination over the course of the entire summer by default. In the end, Milo decided to stick to his Final 3 Alliance and cast the sole vote to evict Walt from the house, sending him to the jury.

Later that week, the final three began participating in the three parts of the final Head of Household Competition, where the winner would be guaranteed a spot in the Final 2, and, in addition, would win the right to choose who they wanted to bring with them to the Final 2 as well. The first part of the final HOH competition was an endurance challenge, titled "Chills and Thrills", where the three houseguests were required to hang on to an icicle-shaped rope, all the while being dragged through ice-cold water and battling winds laden with fake snow. The last houseguest hanging on to their rope would automatically advance to Part 3 of the final HOH competition. Andrew became the first houseguest to fall off after about two hours, leaving Nevaeh and Milo. After a grueling three hours and twenty-five minutes, Nevaeh slipped off of her rope, leaving Milo as the first person to advance to Part 3. Andrew continued to consult Milo after his win, making sure that their final 2 was still good, to which Milo agreed, but did seem a hair bit skeptical of Andrew during the meeting. Andrew, additionally, continued to spend time with Nevaeh, in order to guarantee that both of the other houseguests would take him to the end over each other. Andrew cited in the Diary Room that he really hoped to win not only for the title and that he loved the game, but also to potentially help his ailing father to pay for his medical expenses, and stated that "I have to win this for my family. I've come so far, and I know they believe in me, so I have to finish strong and win it for them." Milo cited in his own Diary Room session how being a survivalist gives people like him the opportunity to break their own human limitations, and that "this game is a true survivalist's ultimate challenge. I've really grown to like Andrew and Nevaeh, but I still want to prove to both myself and America that I'm able to weather this storm. I'm coming for that half 'million, and I'm not backing down now!"

The remaining two houseguests, Andrew and Nevaeh, participated in Part 2 of the final HOH competition, titled "Optical Delusions", which had the pair having to identify a mashed-up face of two past hosueguests, and assign the fusion to a matching trivia bubble on a puzzle wall. The person to completely solve the puzzle wall in the fastest amount of time would advance to compete against Milo in Part 3. Nevaeh finished with a time of 15:43:09, whilst Andrew finished with a time of 12:23:51, meaning that Andrew had prevailed and advanced on to Part 3 with his fellow Middleman.

At the live finale, Julie Chen congratulated the final 3 about their success in the game, and that one of them would soon be crowned the winner of Big Brother, and receive the $500,000 prize, and that the runner-up would receive $50,000. Chen then proceeded to welcome Andrew and Milo to their final competition of the summer - Part 3 of the Final Head of Household competition. The pair would be asked trivia questions regarding statements that the jurors had made about their personal experiences and times in the game. Andrew and Milo took a deep breath and the competition commenced, with Nevaeh watching on from the living room couch.

The first question was asked by Jay, who asked the houseguests if his favorite moment in the house was either A) "When I read my brother's HOH note to me" or B) "Had the opportunity to save Pearl with the Veto". Milo and Andrew both selected A, and were correct, earning themselves a point. Carolyn's question was next, which read: "The most stressful time in the house for me was..." A) "During Vanetta and Pearl's constant fighting" or B) "The second week, when I was nominated." Both selected A, and were both wrong, as the correct answer had been B, and neither of them garnered a point. Bettina and Claire were next, with both Andrew and Milo answering correctly, leaving the score tied at 3 to 3. Pearl then asked her question, regarding what her biggest regret in the game was, with the answers being A) "Not winning the Week 3 POV competition", or B) "Having to constantly battle with Vanetta at every turn." Milo selected A, whilst Andrew selected B, and it turned out that Milo was in fact correct, pulling him ahead of Andrew 4 to 3. However, Andrew managed to tie up the score after Milo incorrectly answered Walt's question about what his least favorite event in the house was, answering "A) When Bettina survived when I tried to evict her", when the answer was, in fact, "B) When I lost Carolyn in the double eviction for no reason", which Andrew answered correctly. With the score once again tied at 4 to 4, it all came down to Vanetta's question: "The thing I am most proud of to have done in this game was..." A)"Setting a new record for competition wins", or B) "Playing with my heart and never letting anyone change me". Milo chose answer A, whilst Andrew chose answer B. The audience grew silent as Julie announced that one person had answered correctly and that one had answered incorrectly. Julie then announced that the answer to the question was in fact answer B), meaning Andrew had won the Final Head of Household competition by a close score of 5 to 4. Chen congratulated Andrew on making it to the final 2 and that he had a huge decision in front of him to make.

After a long decision, Andrew apologized to Milo as he chose to evict him, saying that he knew he was a fantastic competitor and he couldn't justify taking such an amazing player to the end. Milo looked visibly downtrodden, but still hugged both Andrew and Nevaeh on his way out to become the final member of the jury.

Following Milo's eviction, Andrew and Nevaeh hugged, with Nevaeh thanking Andrew for letting them get to the end together. Andrew and Nevaeh then took their seats, and were given time to give opening statements to the jury as to why they should win the game. Andrew took his time to lay out how he always made sure he was making the right decision in the game, praising the jurors for each of their own merits, as well as taking time to point outboth his strategic maneuvering and competition wins. Nevaeh pleaded her own case, saying she was always aware of where she stood, and did her best to continue to survive in the game, rolling with the punches, and staying alive in a hard-fought game. The nine members of the jury then each took their time, questioning the two finalists about their strategy, decisions, triumphs, and betrayals, with Andrew receiving ire from Jay about his constant backstabbing, and that in the army, "loyalty is everything", and that that would be how his vote would be cast tonight. Pearl lauded her friend Nevaeh on making it to the end for her, but took time to congratulate Andrew as well for his game-play. Nevaeh was chastised, especially by Vanetta, of how she had done nothing proactive in the game and that all she did was ride Andrew and Milo's coattails. Carolyn congratulated both finalists and said that her vote would go to the best-played game, and even Milo, still a bit shocked about being clipped so close to the end, did his best to congratulate Andrew and Nevaeh and wished them both luck.
